Haha omg I completely forgot to edit that part in! Thanks for pointing that out. It was that you can pick up shop/devil/blind items and abyss them as you hold them over your head to get extra flies or see the item before abyssing it.

Extra keeper tip: go for planetariums much more as keeper, since most of your item room pool needs will be fulfilled by his better shops.
Also, you will rarely have enough money to buy more than two items on the first floor, and given his shops are higher quality, it is advisable to almost always skip your first item room as tainted keeper.
@@MDoorpsy I mostly get insane tier 4 items on the first floor so its a miss from your side but I get that no one has my luck.
I expected this to be a joke and the whole video was just gonna be "Play regular [character] instead."
All of these are actually helpful.
Extra maggy tip: try to maximize your hp by running into multiple mobs with the iFrames you get when you get a hit. At least two in order to gain hp and three when in the womb. This is especially important womb onwards.
Extra t lost tip: Save your holy card when you can just in case you see blank card or some other way to dupe holy card. Only use it if you think you will get hit.
With T lost i usually save my holy card until i see the first shop
Extra tip for t keeper
If you're not in a rush, don't pick up the coins that don't disappear and try to find sacrifice rooms, you have a chance to get a free angel item and an angel room for just a few coins
Also If you're able to get the last reward (in exception of the blue hearts reward) you'll get a bunch of coins before going to the next floor!

Extra Jacob Tip: Go into the Devil deal before intentionally getting hit by Esau. You’ll still get a free item, but you also have the option of buying items. For example- if he wanted Book of the Dead and Mom’s Knife, he could have bought Book of the Dead, died, then got Mom’s Knife for free

A extra judas tip: things that are activated upon certain actions aren’t activated during dark arts. Effectively making things like gnawed leaf strong or camo undies which dark arts doesn’t activate, good. Also dark arts is I frames so free curse rooms
Extra extra Judas tip:You can activate the mimic chests With dark arts, and also enter/exit the Curse room with the Dark arts

I had a run the other day that blitzed through boss rush and Hush - for reference, I had reached Hush's floor right around the time boss rush would've closed

Extra tip on Tainted Jacob: while chained with Anima Sola, Esau doesn't turn you into Lost form, which is extremely helpful in rooms with narrow corridors.
It has been available since Repentance release, but still not many people know about this.
A tip for tainted Judas, don't freeze enemies that are still shooting, each shot refreshes the timer of dark arts, you can not only pace yourself more, but that soy spider will give you way more damage ups if you let it keep shooting
I always die as t. samson because i forget that i have health bar and i just rush the enemy with no regards for strategy.
Extra tip for t. Isaac: judgement and temperance cards are op as him, especially judgement. Use them in shops to increase your chances of finding birthright, or otherwise use them in angel/devil/secret rooms

Did you ever played Smason or Eden? Appolyon can be played literally without items
@@guywithcringycontent3307 Apparently they've been working on a fix for him for a while to add a lot more fly synergies to him. Apparently when its done, nearly every item will have some unique fly to go with Abyss, similarly to active items with book of virtues.

to get tainted charachters i need to do the reverse way in hard mode or i will not get the cracked key?
remember that for getting a cracked key yu need to drop a trinket in the boss room
Or treasure room because these two rooms stay the same during ascent
