Heaven's Call is a mod for The Binding of Isaac, in which it adds new planet-themed bosses and as of the most recent update, new rooms, trinkets and items! Throughout your run, you'll encounter a new type of room known as the 'Astral Challenge' room, containing a single planetarium/zodiac item. Depending on when you encounter the 'Astral Challenge' room, you'll fight either an outer or inner planet, the latter being much more difficult.
Well here we are again! This time I wanna go over most of the new items introduced within this mod's recent update. This is really my first video that I spent time editing so hopefully you guys enjoy.

New bugfix/balance update just released, so some of the visuals and info in this video are outdated. Here's some of the new things.
- Venus?’s willos now apply the burning debuff for 5 seconds to enemies.
- Mars? now has a sound cue for when the effect is running out.
- Mars? now gains 0.667 seconds on kill, from 0.5 seconds.
- Jupiter? dust was replaced by a low damage laser.
- Electrifying Golden Batteries now has a 10% chance to upgrade them into any of the Battery collectibles (9 volt, the battery, car battery, charged baby, battery pack or 4.5 volt).
- Fixed Saturnus? recharging on room clear. (sorry, that wasn’t intentional)
- Saturnus? now takes 45 seconds to recharge, from 60 seconds.

i still think that circling a golden battery with Tainted Jupiter should give you like, a 1-5% chance of spawning The Battery. Cool ass item otherwise
and using it on the battery should have a chance to turn it into car battery.

And using it on that should enable batter cheat

"Loans to the wind"
Upon pickup, Isaac becomes vaguely sharklike - gaining fins, sharp teeth and other similar traits. His eyes will be replaced with dollar signs.
Whenever Isaac attempts to purchase anything, he will lose half of the cost he paid (For example, he will lose 7 cents if he buys a full price shop item, or one heart container if he buys a two heart Devil Deal). The item will then disappear.
On the next floor, the item will reappear in the starting room. Its price will be in 'negative money', letting you get back the amount you would have initially paid. If you got a half off devil deal, this gives you back two heart containers alongside the item, effectively giving you an extra heart container.
Please forgive me if the volume is a bit wack, my computer is really weird when it comes to differing levels of audio.

Saturnus - I just really like timestop gimmicks
Jupiter - Love the utility
Mars - Really fun
Terra - Pretty useful
Neptune - Don't like how it handles but it's still good
Uranus - Awkward to use but it's manageable
Mercurius - Eh
Venus - Yea this one kinda doesn't feel that good personally

"The world in your hands"
Upon pickup, Isaac's sprite will appear notably distressed. His eyes become tired out and bloodshot, his idle stance appears drained out.
Isaac gains a small counter next to his active item, showing an hourglass and a golden bar. This bar slowly ticks up by 3 to 6 (random) percent every time Isaac deals damage, and 20 to 30 (also random) percent whenever he takes damage.
Upon pressing K with this item's bar charged by at least 10%, Isaac will perform the 'bad pill' animation, and everything but Isaac will turn gray and stop in place. Tears shot by Isaac and his familiars will desaturate and slow down rapidly upon being fired. Pressing K a second time under this effect will end it, causing tears and enemies to start moving again. It will also end if Isaac leaves the room, takes damage (due to hazards; contact damage is disabled under this effect) or runs out of the Ophiuchus? meter.
Tainted saturnus is really cool because you can not only feel like a certain touhou character, but also feel like Dio from JoJo's

Very good video. I used this mod and randomly got glitched into a Lunar deal because another mod bugged out and got jump scared by the weird Moth statue.

Overall good mod review, editing was good, and you got across all the information for every item you went over throguh the video!
My only recommendation is giving text a little more screen time, even on 0.75 speed I missed some text because I wasn't able to read it all fast enough- ^^"

Pluto?: Quality 3
"Size down+You feel Oxymoronic"
Shrinks you down super small like regular Pluto but Increases Speed, Damage, Tear Size by 1.75x the amount Tropicamide does and makes you Stompy.
What? That's just a straight buff then. The point in reverse items is a different take on the regular counterpart, offering different uses. What you're "suggesting" would just make it the superior choice every time.
Since the tainted items reference the roman gods I believe pluto(hades) will have something to do with souls, like reviving enemies or something

"The unstoppable force and the invincible object"
Upon pick up, Isaac will become slightly larger and gain two empty heart containers (If playing as a No Red Heart character, he instead gains two empty Bone Hearts). However, your sprite appears shrivelled, starved and weakened.
Whenever Isaac kills 3 enemies, or takes damage (even self inflicted damage counts), his sprite will swell up slightly. The first stage of 'swelling' becomes similar to Isaac's regular sprite save for a reddish hue, consecutive swelling has Isaac physically distort, hives form along his body.. classic Isaac body horror.
Upon holding down the fire button for more than 4 seconds, Isaac will cough out a large red tear. This has great knockback, and does (2 * X) Isaac's damage, where 2 is the amount of 'swelling' stages. (Isaac's initial shrivelled form does not count for this). This tear has infinite piercing, destroys rocks and doors, opens secret rooms and can open nearly every door. It will also appear larger the more stacks are consumed to fire it.

It has a 5% chance to turn enemies to stone (like Uranus's ice tears) and increase with your luck stat, maxing at 80% with 10 luck

the giant snake from tainted terra looks a lot like the Apep texture from spelunky 2, even the movement is kind of similar.

Haha, I remember a long time ago after watching the tainted treasure room mod I decided to come up with tainted planetarium items myself, and the only cool idea was Terra. Anyway, the idea was to make 10 mini copies like the Giant Cell item appear around the character. Each cleaned room they became 2 more, and the more they were, the more stat down, and vice versa. But the funny thing was that if the copies became more than 20, the character would die, and if there were no more copies left, the character would also die (in the dawn of power), well kind of reference to the overpopulation of the Earth, something like that

3 of pluto's moons will be summoned as buddies as eris engage an enemy closest to issac, charon will roll in a straight line dealing moderate dmg, makemake will orbit isaac dealing dmg and knockback while blocking tear projectiles and hauma will shoot frag tears that will split to lesser dmg tears
their dmg will be increased when isaac collects any bone relics or treasures and empowered when playing as the soul cage
Neptunus? should do something special if you get mom’s knife or are the forgotten.

Tainted Venus kinda sucks honestly. First every 15 enemy kills you get a friend that works like friend finder, except you want it to take damage just to get a chance to drop a pickup that gives you an abyss locust basically. You know what I'd rather do? Have a friend finder enemy! Just, God it's easily the worst item in the mod
