To punish a worker or cashier because someone steals something when it has zero to do with you and you aren't around when it happens, makes no sense. If you're a cashier and someone steals items by hiding them under their cart during check out and you didn't see them in their cart or something, perhaps.
@@FullMetalAtheist Depends on where you live, some parts of the US are "at will" and your rights as a worker are more of a suggestion than anything.
And you'll still be punished in some shape or form if the numbers don't add up at the end of the month. Either with a "chat" or with a threat of some sort.

@@garr_inc Oh no prob. So the context is that jello’s now doing these streams on UA-cam cuz his Twitch account got banned. The reason given was “fraud” but what we think is the actual answer is that Jello was straight up saying during streams to not sub to his twitch, which twitch didn’t like. So they banned him. “For fraud”.

I fucking love this game, and the fact that Jello is voicing Angus means I'll get to hear him voice my favorite line towards the end

Same, it meant a lot to me when i was dealing with lots of mental health issues and disorders, struggling with school.
I watched Jacksepticeye's playthrough of the game when i was likee.. 13 maybe? or 12-14 idk.
I was going through a lot of changes in life, moving a lot and being away from my childhood friends.
I used to live in a small town and i've gone through a lot of big and traumatic changes in life, and Night In The Woods covers a lot of stuff like that.
I also related a lot to Mae's dissociation episodes.
This game just makes me feel so comfortable and less alone.

I played it for the first time in 2022 when I was depressed and my parents were being transphobic and homophobic at me, I was in terrible damn conditions that year and I'm glad I found nitw!! I hope we can always experience this game as if it was the first time and that we can enjoy life and be ok

I think Jack could have just used his normal voice for Greg and have it work perfectly, their personalities just match so well.
my interpretation was that the "Janitor" is god for a couple of reasons
1) appears out of nowhere
2) isn't seen in town
3) no one in town knows him
All of those could also prove he's a ghost, but here's the kicker
4) in the end of the game he knows Mae's name
Yeah! My theory was always that he's either an angel or the forest god.
No, he's a cultist... That's how he knows Mae's name.
You see his silhouette on a gravestone during Bea’s mission to hunt for the ghost.

Fun fact, in the opening cutscene you can chose what happens in May's backstory. The arrows on some of the lines are options.
Can we talk about how nice Jello’s singing voice is? I would genuinely love a normal cover of Anywhere Else from him.

For a moment I thought this was a one-shot episode. I have never been more glad to realize my eyes had skimmed over "Part 1" before.
Jello is correct, this cast is bloody perfect.
I hope Jello knows that Germ got a route in some dlc. Don’t think he’ll get to it in this stream series but maybe sometime he’ll look through that route just because he seems to really like this game.
It was added automatically in a free update so if he's diligent enough, he should be able to stumble onto it.
Ok but a jello cover of “Die Anywhere Else” sound like it would actually fucking slap like nobody’s business.
Something you should know, you can exhaust dialogue with each character, if they still have a sign over them it means they still have a lot new dialogue to that one day, and if you miss it it's gone and you might cut off the narrative route for them.
Yesss extra dialogue is a good way to get extra scenes and fill out Mae's journal

I’ve always been a huge fan of Night in the woods but it has a relatively small compared to something like Undertale which has mountains of both canon and fan content. Soo I’ve seen everything the internet has offer NITW related three times over, so I’m SO HYPED for this! AND ITS VOICE ACTED AND FUNNY!? I’m so excited

God, what a treat this was! I played the game myself for like 10 minutes, bombed the bass minigame, and quit forever, haha, but I've heard nothing but good things about this game so this feels like such an ideal way to experience it for the first time! The group dynamic with you guys is so funny and natural, it's like you were meant to play these roles. Looking forward to next week!!

"I love possum springs, or as I like to call it, Circleville" - As someone who lives very close to a town called circleville, a place whose only notable goings-on is the Pumpkin festival each fall, the comparison is apt. I don't know if they were making a joke about the layout of the town or not, but the comparison is funny.

One thing I find weird is that Mae doesn’t bring up knowing that Casey is missing if she looks at the poster. Also Jello has an awesome singing voice.

1:57:40 "Weird Autumn" made me realize that I listened to a song 5 years ago very frequently. Went looking in a playlist from college and saw that it was either a song from this game or a song made by fans of this game (thumbnail is Mae and her band). I only listened to it as a recommended song and never went looking for what it was from. I'll avoid listening to "Weird Autumn" until I finish this playlist. Not sure if there was spoilers in it, but the tune is still stuck in my head even if I don't remember the words beyond the title. Loving watching this.

I was always hoping someday a fan of Night in the Woods would eventually make a voice mod where every character finally gets a voice actor and it seems like this is the closest to that that has ever happened ever so good job on y'all doing this and sucks I found out about it late like after you did it cuz it would have been fun to watch these live.

Theres so many things i didnt know about that i just saw here, like u could help angus with the pizza?? Thats fucking adorable!! I remember he just didnt end up grabbing one when i played 😭 and after the pizza, i just realized gregg is leaning on angus 😭😭 god with how limited the animations and expressions are, its crazy how much they can portray in little moments like that!! I adore this, because the first time I ever played this game, I streamed it to a few friends on Discord and one of those friends (now my boyfriend) voice acted literally everyone, except a character who shall not yet be named because spoilers. I did that one in the most mysterious voice I possibly could. Lol
It was an absolute blast, and this game is so much fun by itself, let alone sharing the experience with friends.
Finished the book and Mae and Lorelei give off the same energy
Ohh I'm gonna love this playthrough. This game is so charming and characters are so relatable, you guys fit perfectly with the characters too.
Some tips/help for the gameplay! You can get dad to move the boxes if you talk to him about it & watch TV with him, but I think that might need to take all evening timeslots since beginning of the game so you should've interacted with the boxes the very first evening to get them moved in time.
Also if I remember correctly, playing Demon Tower unlocks two drawings in Mae's journal. And it might have some vague lore implications maybe?? It's been years since I went through this game so I might not remember everything.
If you just keep talking to and watching TV with the dad he will move the boxes. I don't know why you were told you have to refuse to watch TV but that's just not true.

I think the main reason it seems like so many people have died in this town is probably because it’s a small town and the townfolk don’t have much more significant to talk about.
I'm gonna be honest, if a game makes me sad if it even briefly crosses my mind, It's a damn excellent game. (NITW is that game for me and this series is amazing)
