My father is a retired mariachi and when he heard the opening guitar duet he picked up his own guitar and played it to the exact pitch. 2nd rhythm guitar. Awesome.

I love Hans' work, and have since I first heard his opening theme for A League of Their Own, followed by his stellar work in The Lion King. I know Hans is best known for his action movie scores, but I think his work outside of that genre is very interesting. (His action movie scores tend to blend into each other. His main theme for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was already played, note-for-note, during a Gladiator action sequence three years earlier.)

I love this movie... I never forget that scene where she cries her eyes out at random times of the day. Diane is such a good actor! :) She's so funny.
