i like the 11x, but Love My 10x. i think keeping the scooter simple is best. finding a way to incorporate the larger battery to the 10x (for increased range), a thicker stem/stronger clamp and better weatherproofing would be improvements most wanted by Everyone. The power of the 10x is awesome, and yes everyone loves more power, but if it drains the battery quicker can we really call it an improvement? what would the range for the 10x be (Eco and Turbo) if it had the 11x battery setup?
Zero 10X 18amp owner here, I have mine upgraded battery to 36AH total, I ride it everyday to work that is about 15 miles single trip, so total 30 miles everyday, so 1 external battery can save me thousands to buy zero 11x, beside, just 1 extra battery made my zero 10x go slightly higher on top speed and stronger acceleration.
It's not about speed (40mph is fast enought), it's about front wheel TRACTION ( larger and WIDER ). My Zero 10x front wheel slipped out on dirt/mud on a bike trail. 12"x 5" front / back wheels will prevent lots of crashes.
That has to do with tyre type, something with wider nobbly tread, the offroad tyre will make a big difference, as well as tyre pressure. Mountain bikes run on anything from 2-2.8" wide tyres and have all the grip in the world. Bits of gravel on the road on these can be a bit sketchy, or a bit of wet grass.... A wider tyre offroad on dirt will actually slide MORE not less, as it doesn't cut in. Again tread pattern. There is also the older style rounder tyres for the 10x, and the newer flatter style ones, that get more ground contact. I still have the original ones on mine, but have the newer set ready to go on once the tyres wear down more. All the new 10x's come with the upgraded tyre style. Still to try the proper offroad tyres on mine, but I know they will perform better and have seen good reviews.
10X is fast enough for most of the daily commuting purpose. I would not mind seeing a light weight version of 10X capable of 65 km/H as 10x, less than 16 kg in weight, portable that you can easily carry onto a subway train. 100km/h is good but a bit too much for most people and most purpose.
John Lian There is a new 10x with 1200w double motors and 60v battery that is abit faster than the original, but I think they should stick with that formfactor for futue models and not make them bigger and heavier
Andreas Tzimboukakis have you tied the Rion? It is not road worthy. It is only a race scooter but it does not functional well in the rough and tumble of city streets.
@@FalconpevSg it seems to do Streets just fine, just not offroading. Even tho it has alot of power its more easier to turn and control cuz of its low weight

It would lessen the weight if you found a solution to retain the vertical single bar instead of the dual, the lesser weight the better for the speed and load weight on the motor. 50 plus kg is a heavy toll for the motor and add to the the weight of the user, other wise it looks good in the eyes, buyers do consider the durability and long term use. Just my point of view. Good luck.
