Watching this episode got me thinking. People like Mai Chisamba, Trevor etc should form the last state institution that approves a bill just before the president signs it into law. That way our country will be a better place. Maybe that was the idea by having senate(is it still there btw?). But seeing how polarised our country is hameno zvikashanda. Thanks for a great episode

Amai Chisimba is full of wisdom, smart and sophisticated. She is such a role model, humble and respectful. Shona and Ndebele zvinofanirwa kudzidzwa nevana vedu muzvikoro. Good example is in SA, most citizens vanodada nemitauro yavo too much. Plus most people from Zim vave kugara kuSA are forced to speak Zulu, Xhosa, Venda, Sotho, Pedi vachida vasingade which is good for the seek of communication.

Learning languages is good, I'm Ndebele but I can speak Shona, kalanga, Zulu, Xhosa, Tswana, xitsonga......what I have noticed is that Shona people will rather learn to speak Xhosa language from South Africa that to learn to speak Ndebele

It's not an insult because it's not intentional.
@@leomlog3283 we are learning its a shame you feel that way.... A lot of people speaking Ndebele pronounce shona differently but we never complain.

One other thing that i have conceived in mind is that, Shona folks doesnt want to learn Ndebele and most Ndebeles knows who to speak Shona....anyway, it now makes sense when you say "quality shows". I like you Mr Trevor and may God continue to bless you.

Uqinisile mfowethu, you can even hear Mai Chisamba here, saying chindevere / mandevere she doesn't even take care to learn to say isiNdebele / amandebele. Which are two words are just two words which describe the Ndebele nation.
@@bold_art i think its just because she is speaking in Shona. If you were to speak in Ndebele about Shona would you say " mina ngiyakhuluma ichishona" or you will say "mina ngiyakhuluma isiShona"?. I get where you are coming from though. We need to learn all languages and we should make it mandatory to teach both Nebele and Shona at least for 3 or 4 years in primary school
@Michael Maps i accede to such a requisite you raised that it should be mandatory for primary and secondary schools to learn various, mostly major languages to avert an indirect tribalism.
@@onecage4217 Very true. I can speak IsiNdebele, Shona, venda. I understand sotho, zulu, shangani, swahili and other languages even if i might not be fluent in some but i can converse well which makes it easier to understand and respect other cultures.
