What kind of wire was that you used to fix traces?

They call it mag wire, but you can find really thin wire (34ga) off ali or amazon.

I got an xbox recently that has all these same issues and also when I play games there are wavy lines making it practically unplayable, would fixing the trace rot solve the wavy lines and video signal ?

I don't think fixing the trace rot will resolve that issue. I think you may also need to recap the console.

I've not seen schematics for the original XBOX. You can find high quality board scans that should help though.
