It doesn't look like mahogany to me, but there is too much of it. It looks exactly like the burled walnut I had in my Mercedes -- in a much more tasteful amount.
Big respect for him, dedicating machine learning for medical imaging application. Machine learning is no easy job and with that definitely brings an impact to medical imaging technology.
You know he's a Saudi kid when he says "thiab" 😄 But love the perfectly pronounced Arabic words thrown in and cultural sensitivity to the bidet, Qa'ba pointer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Amazing video, the very best on youtube.
The shadow shot you got at 10:54 was awesome! The bedtime window shots at 17:25 were hypnotic. You always have such amazing attention to detail with the pieces of footage you choose to put in your videos.
A good tip for any tourists wanting to travel around London for a fair price, buy a travelcard after 9:30 which will take you through all the London travel zones and you can use it on both buses and trains.
I'd like to offer some thoughts and observations: There are some traveller vlogs that do a great job of visually presenting the sense of high-life travel; and there are some that have interesting narration or personality. But (and not to blow smoke up your ass) I have not found one that combines both so delightfully. Your deadpan delivery, with the wicked intonations of irony is wonderful. And your location and terminal backstories offer context without getting too bogged down in exposition. I must ask: how much time do you put into your editing/producing? I see elements that surely must take a lot of time to acquire/develop. So, with my laud of praise concluded, kindly return to your high-flying travel lifestyle, and continue sending nuggets back to rest of us, who must, truly, live vicariously through your exploits.
I have been watching all your videos this week and they are outstanding. The cinematography, self deprecating, funny and witty voice over, awesome pic quality makes it stand out from the rest of travel vloggers, even those with way more subs. I am truly looking forward to more of your videos because for now I cannot travel but intend to once the kids are older. For now I will live vicariously through you. You really deserve more subs and I know you will get a lot more soon. Hats off to you.
I’ve done a good bit of flying the Emirates A380 upstairs in business, most recently a couple of chunky flights from New York JFK (12 hours ) then onward to Mauritius (another 6) and back, with another fun stopover in Dubai. You can’t argue with either the hard or soft Emirates Business product as both are relatively flawless. Plenty of room and comfort in the seat module, and the spacious bar service and enormous lounge and killer toilets are rarefied. The Emirates cabin crews are fun to engage with and largely competent, but I’m always mentally evaluating them via-a-vis the Singapore Airlines bunch. SQ always wins, but I’ve never been so dissatisfied aboard EK to give its staff a bad evaluation. I’ve also flown way up front upstairs in Emirates First Class Suites (Moscow to DXB then onward in a few days later to PVG Shanghai - it’s fab). I always get jazzed just knowing I’m flying EK and that’s half the fun. It’s a great airline and I’m praying 1) it survives, and 2) one day the flawless services will be restored. In the meantime, carry on, EK. We love ye! ❤️ from Alabama 🇺🇸 USA.
Thank you so much for your explanation at 0:43. So many travel vlogs have been people pretending to go back to vacations as usual for months, magically appearing in locations and not describing their quarantine and isolation procedures. I really appreciate your candor!
You are clearly the best for this niche. Funny thing is that this is just a hobby for you, a side activity. Perfect choice of music, soothing voice and accurate remarks make the whole experience very enjoyable. Once again, congratulations, man.
The point is that American English isn’t technically proper English (to the brits anyway) so he’s making fun of it by saying that they can still understand you/you can still understand them despite accents and differing terminology lmao
Great work. I am looking forward to my first ever Business Class trip this April on the A380 of Emirates, Toronto to Bangalore. Your video is getting me all hyped for my trip. Edit: Hopefully, I will be able to make a vlog of my trip, although definitely not as fine-tuned as yours.
I appreciate and enjoy these video, including the dry humor. With all respect to your fine efforts, I'm most impressed by the animated map prologue which is very well done (how? do tell!) and provide excellent context for the journey. Thanks.
Another phenomenal review here bro. Was kind of happy to see a revised mahogany styling on their newer J product, which does look a bit better / slightly less in your face! I’m so with you about ordering a Curry inflight, don’t think I’ve ever had a bad one. Looking forward to the next one
I used to fly a lot in business for work and only take it personally if i have enough airline points. It seems like a lifetime ago with this pandemic. Thanks for sharing your journeys with us. From a fellow Torontonian, keep safe and continue your important work!
It's a dream of mine to go on an unnecessarily expensive trip in business or first class. I don't get to travel a lot so one big, expensive trip would be amazing
Your videos are what keep me going while I'm stuck working from home after years of weekly travel around the world. Don't let the haters hate - I enjoy living vicariously through your exception every minute of every video.
You think being the only one in the business class section, they would ensure that the ONE person's seat was cleaned spotless. Especially since you know, he films and vlogs his experience and reviews it. Food for thought.
I hit your videos on my smartphone to be reminded the duration and quality of the work warrants me to stop, close my UA-cam app and head to the TV to fire up the PS to watch these gems on the bigger screen. Great work and a joy of a character to watch! Stay healthy and keep having fun man!
Brilliant trip report! The moodlighting of the cabin was beautiful. The meal looked pretty nice despite the pandemic. However, I'm disappointed to see an unclean seat, it's unacceptable considering we're in COVID-19.
Pre-pandemic, my regular airline of choice. At around nine and a half minutes I heard the familiar Emirates signature music. Jealousy crept in! Longing to get back on those magnificent A380s. Great review.
Great video. The music selection during taxi and takeoff segment was sublime and helped me relax while I had a work meeting running in the background as I watched your adventure. Kudos

This is only the second time I've watched a VV video, but I must say I enjoyed it. Love his approach and humor, more enjoyable than other flight videos I've seen.
What a rollercoster emotional film. First I was "aah, a distraction video while coding".. then I reallised the lenght of the video and my thoughts was "Auch, this is way to long.." and I was a little sad.. The video started and I read the text about this guy working with machine learning, "Yay, what a cool guy. He's the best!" was my happy thoughts.. And what an informertional film it was, very nice graphics indeed! And now I reallised this guy has some dry sarcastic humour and I really love it! What a great episode!!
What is his day job and is it too late for me to switch careers? Edit: he did a quick blurb with his day job. Seems like the kind of work it is too late for me to switch to. I am sad now.
i love the humour and delivery, the editing, the thought that goes into these. but the graphics, dude, 3 seconds of screen time to show all the underground lines is insane but beautiful. can't imagine how long that took!
I know right. I keep asking for him to release a how to graphics video. He said at some point he would if enough people asked but that was a while ago 🙃
i imagine it would be a lot of work to put together as he'd want it to look amazing. i wouldn't know where to start, but i hope he realises they're appreciated
Netflix needs to give this man a travel show.
Would love to see that, imagine the possibilities with a crew and budget.

Nah that isn’t mahogany. Weight is everything in an aircraft.
Smart Alec comment. Wondered how long it would take.
There is no mahogany on that plane, real or fake. it`s burled maple if I had to guess.

A $10 voucher, especially when most of the stores in the terminal are closed, is supposed to be the same value as a business class lounge?
We should all try to use this as an argument to only pay 10 pounds for lounge access
