I never got rattle with my p2k after buying the slim slide release a few months ago. But I found if it got loose, I would use that right side to release the slide and that would tighten it up
Not sure if it’s because I bought the slim slide release. But when you put the gun back together, use the loose slide release to release the slide and that will tighten it up with no rattle.
2 of mY favorite hammer pistols and import pistols(outside the hk compact). The amazing part about them is their price, and are the best semi modern choices for the money on the market. Wish I could have both of them, but we can’t get access to the p 07.
If price is the deciding factor and both are equally reliable? CZ P-07 is the better deal of the two. That's been a problem in the past with H&K reluctant to budge on their prices.
They are very nearly the same gun. I have both. I didn't realize how similar they were when I got the USP40C. The USP40C has a safety/decocker control lever, deep checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. The P2000 has ambidextrous slide release with no safety. It has texturing on the front strap and mainspring housing. It has the decocker at the rear end of the slide. The P2000 has higher profile sights. The trigger on the stock USP compact is quite a bit nicer than the stock P2000. It has less take up and a shorter reset than the P2000. I had Bill Springfield do some work on my P2000 before I bought the USP compact. That trigger is nicer than my stock USP40C. They both use the same magazine. I had a custom holster made by DeSantis for my P2000. The USP fits it quite well. The right one for you depends on how ambidextrous you want your gun and how nice a trigger do you want. Without adjusting for any aftermarket trigger work, my compact USP trigger is the best trigger of all 4 of my H&K pistols. I also have a full size USP and an HK45C.
Just picked up a p2000 v3 for $500 here in California. New, btw. I removed the right side slide stop, no more rattle.

I just bought HK vp9 for $499 with 3 17rds mags with $200 HK store credit from Cabelas and I love it. Also I CCW p2000sk LEM.
What does the vp9 have to do with this video?

P2000 is one of the best around. Its build quality is far ahead of most pistols
$300 for a p07. Where at? It’s $600-700 in my area all day. Never on sale. I find deals on the p10c but never the p07.

Depends. Usp is good for 40 and 45 for durability. The p2000 is versatile and durable in 9mm.

That is so challenging. The p2000 is more versatile. But the USP would probably last longer

I’m a big CZ and HK fan. Simple comparison: HK’s are Ford F-150 Platinums, CZ’S are a plain Ford 150, both good trucks but one is just higher end.
