I just got a Brompton a couple of weeks ago! I live in Issaquah and just ride around my neighborhood. Don't have much experience on the road and need to get back in shape but this looks fun and I'd be interested in meeting up.
How neat! I had enough with Vanmoof shenanigans, and I am looking for my next committer / joy ride electric bike, and this is making me [re]consider a Brompton. PS Being able to take a train all the way to Lynnwood, how exciting!
A completely off-the-wall question from a relatively new Brompton C-Line owner (flat bar). This is the first chance I've had to look at several Bromptons together, and I noticed that all of the bikes in this video have brake levers pointing almost vertically down. That's how mine came, so I immediately rotated them slightly more upwards (not by much at all), as that's how brake levers are normally positioned - but then the bike won't fold! (the brake levers and cables prevent the stem popping into the clicky clip). Am I wrong?
Of course! I didn't participate this year as I'm signed up to ride the Whistler Granfondo this weekend on my Brompton :) Look forward to an adventure there. I have vlogged my experience riding it back in 2022!
Yes we had two e-bromptons! I think everyone I've talked too has enjoyed it. It is a bit different as a front-wheel-based hub motor but it will definitely help with the hills!
I don't know "best" but Montlake Bikes in Seattle sells them and stocks parts and does good maintenance work (it's where I take mine and get parts). They aren't super close to Redmond (obviously) but one of the buses that run on 520 can drop you off pretty nearby.
Do you have a Brompton? Have you ridden the new link extension? What do you want to see for our next meet up?
No Brompton, but I did ride the Link extension on the first day. Psyched. Can't wait for the rest of it to come on-line.

Joyous! Delightful Team!
Hahaha the bike folding competition is so funny 🤣
My body is still getting used to riding my Brompton again, in the city. One day I'll build up the courage to meet others with a Brompton.
@@mustachemicky8669 you're always welcome to join us. We ride very chill and you can take your time
Whoa, it's about time that's open!! Great way to exhibit this transit method. 🚲🤘
I missed again!.... Ben and Cindy from Vancouver have reminded me to join since I am living in Bellevue.
Jealous! It looks like such a blast to spend the day with so many fellow bromptoners!
👏👏👏
That hill was so hard! glad we had a coffee shop waiting for us at the top!
More Brompton videos! Love my H6L. It’s the perfect multimodal bike, so I’m glad you paired it with light rail. 🚴

Nice video, love the camaraderie. I wish i had a Brompton.
It's not too late! :)
Go Brompton !!!
So, you are in a Bikergang now too 😂😂
😂😂 not nearly as cool or intimidating as your fat bikes though

Am I wrong?
That's precisely why they are pointed down to preserve the fold.
did you hear about the RAMROD event?

@@BestSideCycling I'm Watching your 2022 video now, thanks
Any of those people have an electric Brompton? If so, how do they like it? Does it climb hills well?

is this kind of like "how many people can you get in a VW Beetle"?
I'm new comer to Seattle and seeking for a store to have my Bromton. Where is the best place to explore Bromton bike in Seattle? I resided in Redmond.
