I adore watching your videos! Its the next best thing to sitting down with you & sharing a cuppa tea in person, which I would love to do on a weekly schedule ❤🌷💐☕
Oh! And I'm infatuated with the Zinnia making its home at the foot of your porch! Its like it's saying "You can't miss my smiling face...look at me! Look at me! I came to bring you joy."
You know, I normally pull up weeds, and this zinnia is a classic example of a good plant in a bad place, aka a weed, but I couldn't make myself do it and I'm glad. It makes me happy every time I go out the back door.
Thank you so much for making this. I am learning about wild food foraging, and this helps explain some of the identification measures a bit more thoroughly. Learning about the wild food burdock. It has composite flowers :)
Thank you so much for making this video! A lot of time must have gone into making this. I love flowers, and found this quite interesting. Have been out of school a long time - had forgotten about reproduction of flowers :-).
Thank you! It did take longer than usual to put this video together, but I loved doing it. It all started with the zinnia at the bottom of my back steps. I thought maybe people might be interested in knowing why a composite flower is called that. I'm so glad you liked it I've been out of school a long time too, but have not forgotten about flower reproduction.
Thank you! No. Viburnum are not in the Composite family. They used to be grouped in the same family as Honeysuckle, but recent molecular biological techniques have determined them to be different enough to be moved to another one, Adoxaceae

Thank you! Come over for a cuppa tea any time.
Gramma Rose's Homestead I'd accept your invitation, but I'm much to far away. Boohoo 😌 Have a blessed day!

Wonderful to have that opportunistic plant right at your doorstep!

Very good explanation, thanks. What about Viburnum shrubs, do they belong to the same composite family?
