Thank you for your comment. As far as I know, this feature is not available in PowerPoint. However, all Office apps have a feature, Autocorrect (you should find it under File, Options, Proofing or Advanced), that you can use to enter shortcuts or short text snippets and have them converted to either unformatted or formatted text.
By the way, I posted a video just today that shows how to generate a PPT from a Word document, so you could use quick parts to enter the needed text as headings in Word (heading 1 to heading 8), then use the info in the video to insert slides from outline using the Word document.
@@ExcelatWork55 sounds good. I will have to think about it. issue is that most of the time I have complex slides that have so many parts and they are good as they are
