    I have used Dicktator Ecu's on two of my builds and it works amazing. Very interesting to see how it gets manufactured. Thanks sns for the video.

    Do they still do development on these units? Has anything changed over the years. Had one on my first car i built. Worked well.

      Nah, nothing has really changed, each ECU only supports 1 trigger pattern, only fires batch, idle control isn't great neither is cold start mapping, no wideband support but other than that it's okay. I personally would never use one again but there are plenty of people out there who swear by it.

    Seems like a awesome system. I unfortunately bought a vehicle with 6.20 installed . Had a few problems and had it it checked by a very unscrupulous person. Could you please recommend a specialist in the Boland / Cape Town area. Many Thanks

    I also bought a 60-2 ecu.... connected it to my e30 320i inline six due its failed airflow meter.... they said the engine must be on TDC and sensor must point on tooth 20 past the gap...... i also using now wasted spark on the engine..... the car just keep on backfirring through the intake.... my question is on what number teeth past the gap must the sensor be.....

      I dont think Cam phasing is possible with this ECU, You can get it to run but the iVTEC wont be variable.

    Why is the dick tator unit batch fuel? ..not all 6 or 8 cylinder fire at the same time? Why make it batch then ??

    • @ikramrawat7633
      @ikramrawat7633 2 роки тому +1

      It will fire one batch per engine cycle, not per intake stroke. So fuel will sit behind valve until just before intake for the specific cylinder
