      Oh that’s pretty impressive numbers on that 117 !! is that just with the DND fat cat pie or is that worth a tuner also???

      @@robertyoung5678 I have the 2016 non epa s.e. Pro street tuner. You could tune it spicy 🌶️ because Harley wasn’t regulated by the epa yet. Only problem is Harley doesn’t support the software anymore.

    Nice ride bro!! I’m just about to fit the fatcat to my FXDLS. What size shock do you think you could run before you might hit the exhaust? Thanks 😎🤙🏼

      Thank you!! You shouldn’t have to worry about size as the pipe runs underneath the lower shock mount. What kind of shocks are you looking at? Thanks for watching!!

      @@v-twinbrothers2001looking at the Legend Revo A's would like to do the 14inch shock. Or if not then probably the Ohlins HD764's they are 13.2 but they'll wind out to about 13.5 inches. Really depends what will fit..... Maybe have to modify the exhaust position slightly 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I’m wanting to see a 124 twin cam with the D&D Fatcat! Everyone is Boarzilla but don’t want to change my pipe. Thanks

      I’m hoping to do a 124 build sometime in the near future so when I do we will definitely have some videos of it. And it will most definitely have a fat cat on it.

      Will hold back HP big time. Tq will hit hard and early with the right cam though

    are you actually tearing thru belts? I am debating chain vs belt drive for a 117 build..

    • @v-twinbrothers2001
      @v-twinbrothers2001  2 роки тому

      I haven’t put many miles on it since I replaced the belt but yes definitely go with the chain. Each tooth was able to be pulled away from the belt. There was only a little material holding each one on at the front if that makes sense. It looked as if someone cut almost all the way through between the tooth and the belt for every tooth.

      @@v-twinbrothers2001 appreciate your input. Was hesitant about the maintenance required by a belt and essentially stepping backwards to older technology from a belt, but if I’m going to be shreddding thru belts like that I am starting to think chain is now the way to go..

    • @v-twinbrothers2001
      @v-twinbrothers2001  2 роки тому

      It would be a good idea. Especially if there’s a possibility that you’ll end up chasing hp/tq. We haven’t had time to do many videos lately but Were hoping to make up for it this summer and one video I’d like to do is a chain conversion install.

    would this exhaust fit a 2014 streetbob?

    • @v-twinbrothers2001
      @v-twinbrothers2001  3 роки тому

      There is a fat cat for the 2014 street bob. Check d&d’s website for exact part numbers and fitment. Be sure to specify if you have mid controls/forward controls/floor boards as it does matter. Thanks for watching!!

      @@v-twinbrothers2001 well i was asking since i bought this one without realising it came off an older model. 2002 Fxdx. I was wondering if it can be modified, potentially the bracket and maybe adding an 02 sensor?

    • @v-twinbrothers2001
      @v-twinbrothers2001  3 роки тому

      You can definitely add o2 sensors. You can buy bungs from sites like jp cycles, revzilla, etc. if you don’t have access to welding equipment, you can take it to an exhaust shop. Depending on your skills you could most likely fabricate a bracket (they’re fairly simple) assuming the exhaust fits into the heads of your fxdb. I’d suggest calling d&d and asking if the header pipe is the same on both models. You can also buy replacement parts for the exhaust. They may be able to sell you the correct bracket if that makes it easier.
