a 48ida is going to be to big for a stock port 12A. here is a link to basic stuff from racing beat that should help you. www.racingbeat.com/manuals/webercomponents.pdf
Always wondered how to check the ‘tightness’ of the throttle plate in the barrel.. should it be 100% light-tight? never really saw any recommended spec for that in manuals
It's a snug feel. Honestly it doesn't matter since you have the folding plate to lock the nut so it can't back off. You just don't want slack in the cable arm
Hey I owned a 85 6port 13B with 48IDA Weber. Issue I got is every time after hard acceleration and de acceleration it makes loud popping sounds. Please advise.
The spare gaskets you have are for top and bottom of the factory webber banjo fitting
Gonna run one of these on a stockport 12A, any idea what size venturi and jets I should go with?

Usually a lean idle circuit or vacuum leak
What porting does your engine have? Just curious - I have a street port and I'm running smaller jets than you.
I have a 13b 6 port that's street ported.
@@CastellawSpeed thanks (mine is a 4 port)
