Korean bbq is awesome. They have lots of restaurants where you choose your own cuts of meat and then grill them at your table with some other sides. Its usually all you can eat!
This is great! I've been grilling and smoking for years, and have only recently become VERY interested in Korean BBQ style and flavor, and I really like it. I have done some smoked chops with Korean BBQ sauce and also a couple racks of ribs and my family likes it a lot. To have a Korean grandmother appreciate the more American style of BBQ is really cool. Frankly, the American style and Korean style is more the same than different - just a little tweeking of the flavorings in the sauces and/or rubs. I do like how the Koreans aren't afraid of getting a little more spice in the game. Most American BBQ sauces lean more toward sweet than hot, and that's why I make my own. But just the basic Korean BBQ sauce I picked up from a local international grocery store is just slightly a little sweeter than I would prefer, but it has heat in all the right places and I am a big fan of it. Thanks for this video!
because most of the food american eat are junk food with artificial flavors if American eat organic food they can live longer and have lesser disease and healthy life. Grow your own food and cook at home just like past American woman use to cook.
Jordan it’s more cause unhealthy food is cheap and healthy food is for some reason expensive in America. Something I’ll never understand as a non-american.

" *Doesn't taste too unhealthy, does it?* " The obesity problem in Texas would like a word you with. (but in all seriousness, I'm so glad that you guys tried Texas BBQ! makes my lone star heart happy xD)
It's not the food, it's the lack of exercise and sedentary lifestyles. Look at how many athletes were born and raised on southern so-called unhealthy foods and went on to become world class NBA, and NFL athletes.
Fermion 90% of weight loss and health is the food my guy. Also top athletes eat healthy food. It’s just that sugar is in everything we touch. I’ve lost 60 pounds eating all types of meat, I wake up eat eggs and bacon with veggies, and have barbecue for my dinner and I keep losing weight. It’s about all the processed sugary food we are eating that spiked insulin and leads to fat gain. MEAT IS NOT THE ENEMY, WEVE BEEN EATING FOR ASLONG AS WE COULD REMEMBER.
"It doesn't feel too unhealthy, right?"
"No, it doesn't."
"Maybe it is, I don't care."

You're generalizing 300 million people based mostly how the coastal states treat their elders
Nonsense.
@@vladt876 Even people in coastal states love their grandparents, it's ludicrous.
Vlad T so don't generalize the entire country, just the coastal states?🤔🤣😂🤣😂🤣😟😔

It is true that many Americans just abandon their seniors by ditching them at old folks homes, when they are no longer convenient.
They wind up dying after a lonely, empty end of life, being cared for by strangers who don't give a crap about them.
Smoked Brisket is absolutely my favorite. I usually spend 10-14 hours cooking the meat but it is well worth the wait.
Smoked Brisket is my favorite bbq meat. It's like heaven in each bite.
South Carolina here!! If you or grandma need BBQ sauce from here just let me know and I will send it to you 😍

"It's so good I can't put it into words" trust me Korean grandma we all love it here too :) that food is one of our national treasures as far as I'm concerned. So glad you like it. I'm very curious to try Korean ribs myself. Heard good things about Korean bbq :) many kind regards
It definitely is!
Korean bbq is awesome. They have lots of restaurants where you choose your own cuts of meat and then grill them at your table with some other sides. Its usually all you can eat!
Bul Gal Bi, which is Korean style pork short ribs, is delicious. It's spicy, sweet, garlicy all at once.
I'm from Texas, and I'm SO HAPPY Grandma is trying our barbecue
How adorableeee. Also the way she explained American barbecue made it sound so elegant😂
Your Grandma is a Korean treasure, love the editing too 😂
Now you know why Americans have health issues but we die with a smile.
How poetic
because most of the food american eat are junk food with artificial flavors if American eat organic food they can live longer and have lesser disease and healthy life. Grow your own food and cook at home just like past American woman use to cook.
@@hammadalimurtaza8197 wow man never heard that before thanks so much!
Jordan it’s more cause unhealthy food is cheap and healthy food is for some reason expensive in America. Something I’ll never understand as a non-american.
@@hammadalimurtaza8197 what a revelation!
Brisket is everything!! ❤️ love eating brisket w/ pickles and jalapeños!
I seriously love your grandma, and you are so good to her. You can really tell that you love your grandma very much and are very close with her. You two are fantastic
I could watch her all day!! I love y’all so much!
" *Doesn't taste too unhealthy, does it?* "
The obesity problem in Texas would like a word you with.
Fermion Yep. It’s also because people in warmer climate tend to have slower metabolism.
Yes! We love her, and you.
Also, Barbeque is one of my favorite types of food.
BBQ is so good 😂
This was so cute, and I was droolin over that food, like "damn the food gettin cold, let grandma eat!" LOL
Grandma loving the pulled pork hit me right in the North Carolina feels :')
I would die for her, she is so precious!
I've spent the last hour falling in love with you and your grandma! She is the grandma I hope to be to my grandchildren ❤❤❤❤
