Exactly. MJ is still the master. Compare if you like. Jordan always squared his shoulders to the rim so he didn't look as lucky as Edwards did on some of those shots. Plus that hanging one hand floater was way longer coming out of MJ's hands.

The most obvious difference is one of them is Michael Jordan, and the other puts up numbers more like Kendall Gill if Kendall Gill jacked up 6-7 3-point shots a game. But in Edwards' defense, he does consistently hit 35%, and the math on that says you'd rather have him shoot that shot at 35% than a 2-point shot at 45%.

Amazing to me how Jordan always looks so much more on-balance, fluid, and effortless than even other world-class level players. There was also this game of HORSE he played with a young Mike Finley in 1993 (Finley was one of the best college players in the nation at the time), and they do a couple of fancy layups, and Jordan's was just waaay more fluid and effortlessly athletic.

If I were to create a scoring guard model in a video game, considering attributes like height, wingspan, speed, jumping ability, hand size, and etc., I'd end up modeling it after MJ. He's just the perfect template for a scoring guard. AE is very good, just let this young guy play, and let's see where he can get.
