All the wolves need to do is force the pick and roll to the sidelines. They do that they win. You can't allow pros to get to their spots. Discipline is the key.
Ant was tired trying to guard Kyrie and getting all the attention from defence as well on the offensive side. Also Kyrie said when he heard Ant say he can’t wait to guard Kyrie he’s using it as motivation so as great Ant has been defensively in the playoffs I just don’t see him being able to guard Kyrie
Yeah he don’t need to guard either of them. They need him to conserve energy for offense. They not going to win unless he is scoring an efficient 25 a night.
Again what playoffs have been this great? Dude this year it's been huge shot after huge shot. Credit to these teams this year everybody has played extraordinary.
People forget and never talk about how the Hawks traded away their pick to NOT draft Luka. The stupidest decision by a front office in the past 20 years?
Exactly. He has to stop talking so much and stop with the smug "They did their thang" comments like he's the impressed big dog. He needs to get his head together.
Doing to much in game 7? You didn't watch the game not do you understand the nuances of basketball. Casuals man. But I am happy Luka will win his first ring.
Mavs and Wolves giving it all to win. Fighters. Celtics is the only team left I don’t see having that fighting mentality. Knicks and Philly had it too.
facts lol .. but he’s a bit younger than a lot of that era .. his was just competing with them in his younger years .. but yea he’s still one of the only star players from the previous what I call the ‘lebron featuring curry’ era to still be around in the playoffs
The way Dallas stayed of the course, make it close and step-up down the stretch it seems they learned a lot from the Clippers & OKC series. T-wolves looked gas. This should be a fun series.
@@vidicisthegoat5444 Yeah, I know haha. The dude on the video off camera said “let them play” after KAT made the offensive interference. I’m calling that comment dumb
Ant is not the next mj or kobe, that discussion is over. "We were just tired probably"? Lmao what a weak response after losing. Mavs have had more playoff games this offseason, everyone is a little tired but you don't use it as an excuse.
He needs to attack more whole team falling in love with the 3ball , granted they hit some but getting mavs in foul trouble and early bonus can slow down luka and KY and some of there bigs
Ok but if we play the hindsight game then you need to point out the fact that the Mavs were ice cold from the three and it wasn't because of some mythical Wolves defense but them literally just bricking it. Similar to what was happening in Game 6 against the Nuggets, Jokić in that game kept passing to the open man only for him to brick, tonight Luka kept passing to the open man only for him to brick a 3, that was most of the Mavs' misses from 3pt land. The difference is the Mavs' roleplayers are top tier defenders and can more than make up for it on the other side, even Luka played insanely good defense in the 4th (outplayed Ant on both sides of the ball tonight). Nuggets roleplayers on the other hand.. not so much so if their offense isn't going you can absolutely blow them out of the water but when it is going they can blow YOU out of the water and that's exactly what we saw in the series vs the Wolves.
He was tired huffing and puffing all night dude could barely breathe chasing Kyrie around, not driving as much and just chucking up 3s or hiding in the corner 😂😂😂😂
Just last night at my gym my friends and I were discussing who will win game 1 between mavs vs wolves I told them mavs will beat them if they don’t lockdown kyrie bcuz he will destroy them with his ball handling skills and clutch plays. So said so done
People forgot how good Kyrie is. You can look at his highlights from that season and he is literaly 6'2"-6'3" Kobe. He has tremendus mid range and postup, is layup god and can always hit you with that 3 bomb. Real hoopers always knew he is one of bests.
The new Michael just played the 2 biggest games of his life back to back, and he was non existent in both. Oh he's tired. Ok never mind. Oh ya I forgot, he played "hard defense" in the 2nd half of game7 (real superstar stuff).
He played “hard defense” in a 7 game series against the defending champs guarding Jamal Murray bro, I’d say he’s a lil tired. I’m not sure if you watched/heard the game but it was obvious he was tired, he isn’t just saying he was to say it, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t tired and we saw him dragging a**. It’s ok, sometimes our minds and competitive spirit are ready before our bodies are. That was a competitive advantage that Dallas had and they capitalized on it like a good team would. This gonna be a good series though.
The Mavs are beating the T-Wolves in 6 games. Luka is the BEST player in the series and Kyrie has been balling in the playoffs. Austin Rivers said McDaniels can guard Luka and boy he was wrong lmaoooooo. Luka is just too fat to guard. People bounce off him and it gives him room to fire. Edwards ain’t no Jordan or Kobe he’s Toronto’s Vince Carter. Edwards still has too many "meh" games like this & Game 7 vs Denver to be the FACE OF THE LEAGUE. He has everything else you need but the consistency
Fking choked on my drink on "Luka too fat to guard". Tf you saying, Im pretty sure it's because of his all around skills why he's hard to guard. Not to mention he's the best scorer in this league.
Edwards (6-16) KAT (6-20) and Conley (2-7) all kneeled down, when it was time to step up If Jayden McDaniels is your leading scorer, that means you lost. Onto Game 2, now a must win for the Wolves
Just played a game 7 with a 28 point turnaround, hard not to be tired. Not to mention mavs with 2 30 pt only won by 2 possessions. Wolves should be happy.
That’s what I saw as well. Only people who want others to fail purposely overlook logic like this. Not only the turnaround but the fact he was doubled the whole time while guarding their best guard too. His mind was saying “I got it” his body said “boy sit yo a** down”
@@reececisneros1622I’m a Mavs fan and Ant was clearly tired you could look at his face and see he was gassed, along with chucking 3s up and not driving like he does, chasing Kyrie around all night, and he was hiding in the corner on a lot of plays with his hands on his knees tryna take breathers

Wasn’t MJ hogging all the awards won? David wasn’t even the best center in the 90s. “MJ had weak competition!” It’s all his fault for dominating an entire decade that these other greats failed to do! Kareem played in the weak 1970s winning all those MVPs and he doesn’t have as many actual trophies as Jordan. I’m combining the awards of Magic + Bird or LeBron + Kobe or whichever were the two best players from each decade and they’re still losing to Jordan in awards won. MJ is making every other great who have awards look like peasants! They mostly have less than half of what he won. Michael Jordan isn’t just the GOAT, he’s the undisputed GOAT. A combination of skill, talent, stats, individual accolades, team accomplishments, legendary moments, influence, impact, and heart are why MJ will always remain the GOAT. The marketing, charisma, mystique, aura, the glow, and the shoes are only extra.
Depends on how you look at it, Luka offensively is better, defensively Ant is better. Ant isn’t a huge drop off from Luka offensively as far as his team production but the same can’t be said looking from the defensive side of the ball. Both handle the ball well one is more fluid and explosive while the other is controlling pace. Luka can take over a game offensively in the end of games, while Ant can do the same for his team while also guarding the other teams best guard as we saw with the last 2 series (PHX and Denver). It really just depends on what type of player you prefer, they’re kinda neck and neck to me as #1 and #2 of the young players.

It's funny how you say that the Mavericks edged them out, because that was the worst game the Mavericks have played in the entire playoffs. They miss so many wide open shots, just to give the Timberwolves a chance. If the Mavericks play their normal level, or slightly above it, the Timberwolves will lose by double-digits every game. The Timberwolves hit 18--3 point shots, while the Mavericks could only hit five or six.
When it comes down to huge games and you want to point out to younger kids why it's important to be able to shoot FT just look at this game. The Mavs went 16-17 (94%) and the Wolves 11-18 (61%). Difference in the game.

I love Leggs, the only one giving praises to Luka and he knows he's the best player in this league.
Ant wanted Kyrie well there you have it
All the wolves need to do is force the pick and roll to the sidelines. They do that they win. You can't allow pros to get to their spots. Discipline is the key.
Mavericks do what to the Wolves??
Ayo
Bro what
Edged em, beat them close. Stop being Coom brained
They continuously brought the Wolves to the brink of climax to increase the duration of pleasure
🤦
Ant was tired trying to guard Kyrie and getting all the attention from defence as well on the offensive side. Also Kyrie said when he heard Ant say he can’t wait to guard Kyrie he’s using it as motivation so as great Ant has been defensively in the playoffs I just don’t see him being able to guard Kyrie
He couldn't even stop luka
@@kasperkilos407 Can the rest of the league?
never heard the excuse of a star being tired lol. arent they all tired?
Yeah he don’t need to guard either of them. They need him to conserve energy for offense. They not going to win unless he is scoring an efficient 25 a night.
Again what playoffs have been this great? Dude this year it's been huge shot after huge shot. Credit to these teams this year everybody has played extraordinary.
People forget and never talk about how the Hawks traded away their pick to NOT draft Luka. The stupidest decision by a front office in the past 20 years?
The Suns are worse. They picked Ayton over Luka
Skip and Shannon said Trey fit in better culturally in Atlanta
Not really because the Hawks got Trae Young.
Kings picked Marvin Bagley ahead of Luka.. at least Hawks got Trae and a first
Put it this way, mavs aren’t mad at all about the trade lol
they did what ?!?
Ant already got exposed game 7 vs Denver, hes doing too much, chill out that MJ talk got him big headed.
Exactly. He has to stop talking so much and stop with the smug "They did their thang" comments like he's the impressed big dog. He needs to get his head together.
Doing to much in game 7? You didn't watch the game not do you understand the nuances of basketball. Casuals man. But I am happy Luka will win his first ring.

The way Dallas stayed of the course, make it close and step-up down the stretch it seems they learned a lot from the Clippers & OKC series. T-wolves looked gas. This should be a fun series.

Ant was too chill this game. He was making a lot of bad passes and his shots looked awkward. Biased or not, gotta admit he had an off-night.

Kyrie really in his Uncle Drew era. He's finally unlocking his final form where skill meets wisdom and humility on the court.
Robinson with more awards than Giannis, Jokic, and Embiid but I thought MJ played against plumbers? 🤣 Why does David have more accolades than the last three guys who won the last six MVPs?
MAVS IN 5
This is going to be a very tight series and the wolves are going to be playing a lot more hustle going forward. Felt that the Mavs got lucky catching them in Game 1 coming off that Game 7 win against Denver so they looked a little flat.
Flat they choked homeboy stop riding lol
@@IssakLlanos I love the little Mavs and glad they won, but I expect the wolves to come out firing in game 2.
@@gjohannes1344 they couldn’t stop luka or kyrie how they gonna stop them this game elaborate. Oh did you forget that kyrie and luka were off that game when it came to shooting the 3?
@@IssakLlanos If you watched that game honestly, the Wolves were not playing with the same kind of hustle you saw them exhibit against the nuggets. So I'm going to assume that they have another gear they can move to. I'm not by any means saying that the mavs are toast, I'm just saying that lets not proclaim that it's all over and Dallas is a lock to win this. Lots of basketball left to play.
@@gjohannes1344 bro they were playing with hustle lol they just got passed up at the end
