      You didn’t check your bodies voltage, you only checked your hands voltage. If anything you would want to place one lead one hand and touch the meter side with the other. Also, you have parallel paths being tested. One path is the grounded path where you are measuring the difference of potential through your ground at the receptacle to the outside ground rod . The second path is from your thumb to your finger.I believe your test results may be misleading.

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  3 місяці тому

      Hand voltage is similar to the body voltage. The meter black lead has to be connected to the earth. Touching the red lead to various parts of the body will show some voltage variations, but in general, very similar readings. If a true body voltage is desired, the average of readings from the head, body, arms, hands, legs, and feet can be used.

    Thanks for this very near perfect explanation of the benefits of grounding the body, I no longer have insomnia and also got rid of a poor circulation issue in my right arm that was always cold to the touch much like a clamming dead person or vampire. I invested on some earthing products and my friends and relatives think I am nuts. I even bought 5 of the earthing books and gave them to relatives…it’s an uphill battle to get people to ingest and apply new areas of health when the mainstream media is not behind it. I thank God that I was humble and receptive enough to take a closer look at this health revelation which may be the best I will ever receive In my life. Thank you Jesus..🙏🏽✝️💚. Very informative video. I bought a Earthing grounding bed matt a few years ago to help me with my chronic pain issues and was very excited but my 2 cats kept chewing the thin cord and was too expensive to keep replacing it.
    Last week I started forcing myself to sit outside,,as painful as it was within three day (30min barefoot on dirt/grass) I totally noticed a change in my body, the pain was less intense and frustrating. So I just pulled out my Earthing bed matt again and going to try using it...but keeping an eye on my 2 naughty cats that love the thin cord it comes with.

    Doctor Doan, one thing I don't understand is why the patches that healed the lady's ulcer are necessary. If you can just ground with your feet, and that fully grounds your body for the benefits, the what additional benefits happen when placing a patch on an area. I'm not against the idea, I just don't understand the mechanism of how localized grounding patches heal if a person is already doing ordinary grounding with a mat.

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  2 місяці тому +3

      A mat is sufficient for healing. On the other hand, patches are believed to deliver localized electrons to the wound. More research is definitely needed to get a better understanding.

    His is waiting for his appt to have Cyberknife treatment ,it's a five day treatment .
    We have a grounding sheet I also have a mat .
    Will it do my husband any home to use the sheet we have been using it now for 3 weeks and I more energy.
    My blood pressure is starting to come down and also swelling on my ankles are going down too. My husbands moods are better and he seems more happy .
    I don't want to do any harm whilst he is having his treatment can you advise me please .

      @DrAndrewDoan  3 дні тому

      Thank you for sharing your concerns. While grounding or earthing can promote overall well-being by helping reduce inflammation, improve mood, and support overall cell health, it’s important to note that grounding promotes the growth of all types of cells, including normal and potentially cancerous cells. Since we don’t have definitive research on how grounding affects cancer cells, it’s hard to say if it will impact your husband’s cancer treatment.
      Grounding may improve your husband’s mood, sleep, and stress levels, which could support his overall well-being during this challenging time. However, it’s crucial to continue following his medical team’s advice and treatment plans, including the upcoming CyberKnife treatment. If you have concerns about using grounding sheets or any complementary therapies alongside cancer treatments, it’s always a good idea to consult with your husband’s healthcare provider for personalized guidance.

    So much detail! Great stuff Doc! I have a request. Heart disease is a concern and I’ve seen mention that electrical differentials in the body can cause this. I’ve seen plaque referred to as the result of plating, a process that naturally takes place if a differential is present. Words like ‘electroporation’ (which regulates blood pressure) is apparently affected by elevated static levels?
    I would dearly love to see you do a video presentation on this specific subject and go into the details as you are so good at.

    Couple questions:
    I live in an area with shallow topsoil and then granite. Lightning strikes are known to wreak havoc on household electronics. Will this kill me in an overnight thunderstorm?
    I have electric blankets. Can I just put one down over the mattress and not turn it on?
    House is old, does not have three prong outlets. Can I fish a wire down to a cold water pipe and use that? The supply line to the house is PVC, the rest of the house is repiped with copper, the sewer line is cast iron.
    Andrew Doan doesn’t appear in the AME finder on the FAA website. Are you still practicing?

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  6 днів тому

      Those are some important questions! It’s always best to prioritize safety during thunderstorms, especially with lightning and electronics involved. The Earthing cord has a 100K ohm resistor that limits how much electricity can flow through the cord, and the amount of current in a rare lightning strike will burn out the resistor. As for the electric blankets, there's no problem with using the blanket and the grounding device.
      Yes, I am still practicing. I am an Active Duty physician and will not appear on the FAA website as an AME. All my patients are active duty and retired service members.

    Hi Dr, I tested my outlet, and it is properly grounded. However, when I test the ground wire from a grounding devise, it will register 60hz even though there is no voltage. I'm assuming this is because the neutral and ground wire are binded in the main panel. Since our bodies aren't meant to function with AC, I'm wondering if grounding through our AC system could be less than ideal. Any thoughts? Thank you

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  2 дні тому +1

      The most important thing is body AC voltage drop. Does the outlet ground drop your body voltage by more than 90-95%? If yes, then outlet is safe. If not, then use a grounding stake outside.

    Do you know if Oxalate crystals , which could be calcium oxalate as well, have negative charge, or how they interfere with bioelectrical cell functions? Can Grounding overcome the effect of the oxalate crystals?(said to be detrimental in disturbing health at the cellular level. ) this is a mystery to me. Can a well grounded person have the effect of protecting a person from the oxalates? (Either in acid, or crystalline forms.) I hope you can look into this, if you have not already. See Toxic Superfoods by Sally K Norton, please. She has references that are extensive but I just want to help people feel their best.

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  10 місяців тому +6

      Thank you for your comment. Oxalate is negatively charged and binds to positively charged calcium in the body to form crystals. There's no research I could find about earthing or voltage affecting oxalate crystal formation. The formation of oxalate crystals, such as those that cause kidney stones, is generally associated with factors like the balance of calcium and oxalate in the body, the presence of nucleation inhibitors, and urinary pH levels, rather than electrical voltage.

      1. Risk of shock is minimal if you use the cable Earthing provides. A 100K Ohm resistor in the cable prevents shocks.
      2. Cotton sheets are best.

    Great video brotha, is using grounding through a plug harmful?

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  29 днів тому +1

      If the plug is properly grounded, then no. The proper way to check is to use a voltmeter to determine if the plug drops the body voltage adequately, i.e. to near zero. Or use the ohm setting to determine the resistance between the plug ground and the outside earth. The resistance should less than 500,000 ohms.
      If in doubt, then ground with a stake and wire outside.

  • @dry509

    Trying to process how this basically works? You are saying the earth is negatively charged and we humans prior to earthing are ?…positively charged or? And the current flows from the earth into us or from us into the earth? Not getting it? Not understand glow of energy? And why this is beneficial?

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  Місяць тому +4

      Grounding or earthing is based on the idea that the Earth carries a negative charge, and when we make direct contact with it, this negative charge can balance out or neutralize any positive charges we may have accumulated. Here's how this concept works:
      1. Charge Difference: The Earth is considered to have a slightly negative charge due to the presence of free electrons. On the other hand, our bodies can build up positive charges due to various factors, such as friction, environmental conditions, or exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
      2. Flow of Electrons: When you make direct contact with the Earth-by walking barefoot, for example-these free electrons from the Earth's surface flow into your body. This process is known as grounding or earthing. The idea is that this electron transfer neutralizes the positive charges in your body, bringing it back to a more balanced state.
      3. EMF and Grounding: Modern environments are filled with EMFs from electrical devices, power lines, and wireless networks. These EMFs can induce small, alternating currents in the body, which some believe might be harmful over time. Grounding is thought to help negate the effects of these EMF-induced currents by providing a direct path for the energy to flow into the Earth, thereby reducing potential stress on the body.
      4. Benefits: Advocates of grounding suggest that this practice can reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and enhance overall well-being by restoring the body's natural electric state. The "glow of energy" mentioned could be a metaphor for the perceived increase in vitality or well-being that some people experience after grounding.
      In summary, grounding is believed to neutralize positive charges in the body by transferring negative electrons from the Earth into the body. This process is also thought to mitigate the potential effects of EMFs, offering various health benefits.

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  Місяць тому +1

      @@dry509 Yes, positive charges are generally bad in the body.
      Because hydrogen ions carry a positive charge, an increase in pH does correspond to a decrease in positive charge. Conversely, a decrease in pH means an increase in hydrogen ions, which signifies a more acidic solution and an increased positive charge.
      Being acidic or having too many positive charges in the body lead to acidosis and can lead to death.
      Yes, pH and charges can be measured by a voltmeter.

    • @DrAndrewDoan
      @DrAndrewDoan  Місяць тому +2

      Grounding, or earthing, is an alternative therapy that some people believe can help with various health issues, including edema and A-Fib. However, it's important to note that there haven't been extensive medical studies that conclusively prove the effectiveness of grounding for these conditions.
      Everyone's response to grounding can vary significantly, depending on their individual health circumstances. Some people might notice changes relatively quickly, while for others, it might take more time, and some may not notice any significant effects at all.
      It's always a good idea to discuss any new treatments or therapies with your healthcare provider, especially when managing conditions like edema and A-Fib. They can help guide you toward the most effective and evidence-based treatments for your specific health needs.
