So true. I used to spend summer holidays at my grandparents in a village in Romania. Didn't wear shoes for 3 months (we have long summer holidays). Spent all day walking the hills and swimming in rivers ... the best life. My brother and I were never sick, my parents never took us to see doctors since we never had any issues (other than an occasional cold treated with onion tea or honey) .. we had no mood swings or temper tantrums. Every time I see running water now I want to dip my feet in it and walk barefooted... it is amazing for mental health. I bought a house with a garden for this specifically
I would kick my shoes off at every turn as a child...it drove my mother crazy. An old man watching me run barefoot told her to leave me to run he said she'll have beautiful feet. I'm 68 and still to this day I love to walk barefoot outside. I don't do it so much now but I will be as last year my body suffered really bad inflammation that has left me with one foot that is constantly swollen. I have terrible pain and I'm hoping going back to walking barefoot helps....
After 3 weeks of grounding outside and sleeping on grounding sheets, my horrible hip Pain is GONE. No more hot flashes and night sweats. No migraine. No waking up At night 5 times to go to the bathroom. I am alive again 😅 Please share Earthing with everyone. It’s free and very very healing.
I have an “Earthing brand” grounding mat. Being short I found it awkward to sit at the edge of my chair with my feet on it and consequently would only do this for short periods of time. Recently I decided to just sit on it when reading or watching tv. Wow! I am a side sleeper with very arthritic shoulders. Since the first day I started SITTING on the mat I no longer wake up repeatedly throughout the night to turn over due to shoulder pain. I am sleeping through the night and I feel calmer. I hope this helps someone. It has been a game changer for me.
@@10YearsYounger I've been watching the pre-recorded live q&a's the yt channel *Earthing* have posted. Clint Ober has stated the less you place between u & their products the better. If u want to learn more. I encourage u to listen to the q&a's. I've been leaving them on repeat while I attempt to sleep. They are wealth of knowledge.
@@10YearsYounger yes it does. When I shared in my qigong class that ever since I began sitting on my grounding mat I was pain free during sleep, my qigong teacher said it won’t work thru polyester. I then checked to see what materials the clothes I had been wearing were made of. All cotton blends. 100% cotton is hard to find nowadays.
Hi take turmeric Either in pill or fresh root peel and cut small pieces at to your veggies sauté Or make warm milk with it with bit of stevia to sweeten
A company called Earthing Revolution actually sell a mat to put on your seat so it must work through clothes. I’m just starting my earthing journey & have a mat which I stand on or use when watching TV either bare foot or just placing my hands on it.
I began grounding in January 2023 using copper wire, metal duct tape and an 8" screw. the copper wire was wrapped around the head of the screw which was pounded into the ground outside my bedroom window. The wire snaked into my window between the screen and the frame, then taped (electrical) along the wall until it reached my bed. The copper wire was then between 2 pieces of sticky metal duct tape and was stretched out across my bed about 18" from the foot of my bed. Fitted sheet was placed on top and voila! I need a hip replacement, so my left hip is very uncomfortable to lie on, never mind my aching knee ( but usually only in bed). The first night's sleep, I had no ache anywhere. Wow!! No ache in my side. Holy cow! Every night, I have to roll from side to side and have pillows between my legs. Always, I had to gird my loins before rolling from side to side, waking up each time while gritting my teeth. Now, I barely notice when I roll over. Sleeping is so easy now. The first few nights I slept a lot longer than normal
May sound stupid but if that wire is even 16 gauge (light cord) it can kill you. The wire used in anti-static mats and straps of this kind is not made of metal, but rubber with carbon, with a very high resistance. This will prevent a lot of CURRENT (power) from ever traveling thru it, while allowing micro-amps of 10,000 Volts to travel unimpeded. Whereas copper is happy to transmit high current and high voltage = you're going to feel it just from random electric charge in the air. Only use a properly engineered system to "ground yourself in bed." Do your own research!
@@DivineMisterAdVentures*I'm not understanding what your stating* these grounding units use the existing ground ran throughout homes. These ground wires are ran along insulated wires carrying current. Ultimately ending at a ground rod that is 8'-10' deep in the earth. A bare copper wire connects the ground rod to the ground bar where the all of the homes grounds are terminated.
@@my_flippin_journey well, I sent emails to my children, my family and friends and no one has said a word. I am not even sure if my son read it, and I saw him a couple of weeks ago. My sleeps are longer and I almost leap out of bed. My little arthritic bumps on my fingers do not hurt and are getting smaller.
This is gonna sound crazy, but I have been suffering from a tendinitis called De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis since the beginning of this year. It has been super painful and I just wasn’t healing. Summer has arrived and I have been barefoot a lot AND making a point to sit outside on the ground for at least a half hour per day. My tendinitis is now healing and is almost gone! 😮
Back in 2007 while living surrounded by concrete, buildings, and cars in Los Angeles (and miserable) I said to my sister one day, "I feel starved for nature!" That Christmas, I spent a week in Santa Fe, NM. My friend sent me to her holistic doctor in very nature filled Tesuque for my difficult decades long headache that doctors and healers have never been able to help. (3 neck injuries now) He did kinesiology on me (muscle testing). He suddenly stopped in the middle of testing something (had been working silently) and said, "Your body is saying that you're nature deficient." What were the odds?! I am a tree hugger...literally. I now hug trees when I can.
My qi gong teacher was giving a workshop on forest bathing (Shinrin yoku). When I invited my neighbor to attend he said “we’re not going to be hugging trees are we?” I chuckled and said “No, of course not”. Well the first thing we were told to do was to find a tree and hug it.☺️
@@pegoneil I don't get why people hate the idea of hugging a tree... Or just hugging in general, but that's a different rant I guess. The quickest way to get a ton of negative ions is to hug a tree that is electrically charged with them. You can get them in slow trickle by just standing on the Earth though.
I started earthing 3 months ago. Wire, aluminum tape and the grounding hole in a plug-in. Cost me the amount of the aluminum tape. I have also grounded a lot of my shoes with upholstery pins bent. Cost = a few dollars. My booze addiction went away quickly. I still drink on Friday nights (which is something I wanted to continue because booze makes me more social), but my addiction is broken.
I have been saying this for years. I grew up not wearing shoes in the 70s because I disliked them, but my mother made me start wearing them. I started grounding again in my 40s and had an energy body awakening. I lost 10 years off my face. I literally glowed my husband said. I sleep on a grounding mat at night and feel it reset me after being on these EMF devices daily which are very negative for us energetically. We were meant to touch the Earth.
I have a grounding mat for my king bed. Not the same company as mentioned in the description. I agree that it helps with sleeping. I have deeper sleep now and I don’t shift so much. I purchased this bc I have bursitis and nerve pain coming from my back. It hasn’t “cured” my nerve pain but the ability to sleep better with reduced pain is a plus. I also feel like I have more vivid dreams. My mat was pricey but I do see a difference. I watched the GROUNDED documentary and remembered that a man in a wheelchair for many years finally was able to get out of his wheelchair. So I will continue to use my grounding mat. I placed my mat on my bed 46 days ago. So I’m not quite at 60 days. I should journal results as more time passes. Part of my journey has been attempting to not speak negative, not to think negative, or act negative. Recognize the negativity and say to your self “peace and harmony, let it go”. Sometimes it’s hard, and sometimes it’s easy. This attitude adjustment allows you to accept more healing.
Hey, how are you going with your neuropathy? I have horrible nerve damage and burning gums from a traumatic molar extraction, can't seem to find anything that relieves it, and was JUST thinking that maybe the grounding sleeps would do the trick after watching this video!
I love how you're so open minded to different therapies. I recently became aware of the importance of earthing from my functional medicine practitioner - until now it wasn't on my radar. Thanks for your video!

Thanks for your good info! I have been grounding for over 10 years now. I learned about it from a workshop with the scientist who did much of the science for the book, Earthing. Got the sheet and the first night I slept well and my restless leg syndrome ended. I’m 75 and I sleep really well since I started using the products. I have 4 diagnosed autoimmune disorders, the most painful is rheumatoid arthritis. Sleeping grounded and using various products during the day keeps all of my disorders in remission. Once it gets warm I spend as much time as I can outside barefoot in the grass. In consultation with an earthing expert I was told that the more serious the condition, the more time you need to stay grounded. Most will get results quickly, but you need to keep doing the grounding because your body is continuing to create the free radicals. A clean diet and other changes will also help.
I was homeless for many years (about 7 years from my late teens to mid 20's). I noticed that since living indoors I have been sick much more than I ever was when I was homeless. That could be from many factors, such as natural vitamin d, or many other things I haven't thought of, but maybe this has something to do with it..I used to sleep better when I slept outdoors in a sleeping bag, rather than a standard bed with loads of pillows. Hmmmm🤔
Lol because sleep was our only mental escape. From the world I lived In a parking lot 3 years no place to be no reason to be there. Now home you got bills stress anxiety etc
I bought a grounding mat und the bedsheet 2 years ago. Made sure I get the Original Earthing products from groundology. (Before I read the book "Earthing" by Clint Ober). To cut a long story short - this was the best thing I ever did. I do not want to be without it for the rest of my life. In fact I got 3 of the black mats, one for every room. I am extremely sensitiv to electromagnetic fields , the earthing mats help me to survive. During summer I go barefoot whenever possible. This changed my life. I was suffering after a vaxxination 40 years ago (post-vaxx), always pain in the kidneys and backproblems. When I got the mat, I put it in my bed, my feet and legs started tingling and after about 20 minutes it was like miracle, like an explosion - all the tension, all the pain gone within 10 seconds. When I am not at home, out all day the problems are back, tension, pain , exhausted, nervous - the first thing I do when I come home - Earthing for one hour and I can feel all the tension and pain go away. I think everybody should have an earthing mat - it makes a big difference.
I'm 62 and have lower back issues, a bad knee, and fibromyalgia, not to mention I'm battling "frozen shoulders" right now (never heard of it until I go it. it's hell). Add to that insomnia, which I had for a decade before moving to Oregon and started using cannabis to sleep (works really well for about 4 to 5 hours, then I'm wide awake again.) At this point, I will try anything. But this grounding makes sense to me, we are children of the earth.
Hi Cat, I recently added grounding to my protocol, I’m sleeping so much better now. You mentioned quite a few pain issues. I’m currently using a device that utilizes your hand, you place your hand inside this device as it rests on a heat transfer pad. (think of it as a hand sauna). The palm of the hand has an unique vascular system. Because you’re putting heat in the body you now have warmer blood flowing to help relax the muscles and pinched nerves. It’s dilating the capillaries and gets them working, and suppling more oxygen and nutrients to all your cells. End result… Increased Circulation & Less Pain. 🫠
For your frozen shoulder - make a poultice with grated fresh ginger and place it against the painful shoulder for a few hours. I had both shoulders frozen. It worked for mine.
Before i started earthing two years ago i was sure I’d be using a cane by now or looking at a knee replacement. Within two weeks of sleeping on a grounding sheet I suddenly realized my knee pain was gone. I never sleep without one now, and I sit on one in my reading chair. I walk around barefoot outside all summer - it works.
I live in the U.S. The last four houses I’ve lived in had dirty electricity, and most houses and apartments do (because it’s cheaper for electricians to take shortcuts that work for devices, but it does not work for this application, especially when we’re talking millivolts). That said, plugging your mat into the ground hole in your electrical outlet actually doesn’t work. It’s not about testing for connectivity or ground faults, you need to use a multimeter and an emf meter to properly test. They make products to “fix” the dirty electricity for grounding mats, but I’ve never tried them. Connect the mat to copper wire and run it outside to a copper rod you jam into the earth. Then test with a multimeter. Using a emf meter is a great backup method. Cheers! ✌🏻❤
I ordered one of these straight after watching your video on Sunday 12th of March, especially as you mentioned your tennis elbow issue. Slept with it on my painful right elbow all night. Was amazed that in the morning the pain was reduced by 80% after 5 months of nothing working. Not massage, not acupuncture nor the numerous youtube excersises. Thank you!
Id bet your doctors would say its just your imagination, Because they dont want people to realize there are healthier, cheaper ways to get health benefits, without pre$criptions!!
After two months of long Covid .. I spent one night on a grounding mat and sweat all night. Got maybe one hour of sleep that night but woke up and never felt better in my life !
Sweating is one way the body removes toxins. I recently took a huge dose of magnesium over the course of several days and the same thing happened to me. Sweating like crazy because my body finally had what it needed to detox a bunch of junk.
I found I couldn't sleep with a grounding setup. It would make me literally feel "wired." I made it a point to drive a giant copper rod down into the earth (far away from the home's service ground) and run a dedicated wire up to the bedroom. There are some people who caution against grounding or "earthing" in this way because in certain densely packed neighborhoods, you're likely to get stray voltage currents interfering with the ground and getting into the body. They're low, but disruptive. The other caution out there is that you literally become an antenna. So if some tele-comm company puts a cell tower outside your window, you don't have any shielding in your bedroom, and connect to a grounding mat - essentially you've just become an antenna and the waves travel through your body. The 3rd caution is around people taking a short-cut and connecting to the ground of their home's electrical system. With dirty electricity generated from devices and smart meters, it can hop onto neighboring wires. So it's not a clean connection to earth. The best way to get earthing is to do it out in nature (barefoot), away from the grid where so many neutrals are running to ground (common in the US). There's way too much current being sent to ground and it won't be solved, in the US anyway, until they re-engineer the grid to handle the scale it has reached.
I had the same experience. Apparently especially a problem in older homes, where there is no grounding at all. My home was built in 1946. My mat gave me pins and needles, and like energy was leaving my body. Really uncomfortable. Now my mat is grounded outside and it made a huge difference.
Using the voltmeter that comes with Earthing products I discovered outlets in my home that I thought were grounded actually weren’t. My home is 105 years old and still has knob and tube wiring which doesn’t have a ground but is run into a curcuit board that’s grounded. Either way I love these mats/ products and am now making the investment to remove the old knob and tube and replace with property grounded romex wire. This is in the US.
@@Rimi-s8k I guess it's about how sensitive you are. I have measured that dirty electricity will hop two romex cables that run together parallel with staples. If those frequencies can jump Romex, they can definitely hop onto the ground. SYB DOES sell a product for this that cleans up the ground before you do earthing with it - if that's all you can do. I would still run a dedicated wire that's separate to the home's wiring (regardless of whether or not it's properly wired). That way I can kill the non-essential breakers at night and not count on an electrically powered device to filter the ground so earthing can be done.
@@MrBrianDuga thanks for this input, I do wonder about the romex and have heard of gadgets like StopWatt that clean up the line but you mention SYB? I don’t know if I can run a grounding line directly out the window into the earth or not second floor bedroom not configured to do that. Trying to get ready for 6 months of winter weather and grounding indoors here.
@@10YearsYounger I cured three elderly relatives of arthritis by setting them up with carbon sleep mats and carbon pillow covers. The cotton sheets with silver threads will eventually stop working as the silver thread oxidizes/corrodes and loses conductivity. Make sure to check them with your continuity tester periodically and when you do wash them only use the mildest free and clear detergents and no softeners, dryer sheets etc.
Thank you for this review!! I bought my first grounding mat about two years ago and the difference I noticed was almost overnight...I wish more people understood the importance and benefits of grounding; and these mats are absolute genius during the winter months and/or inclement weather. Thanks again!!
Offend its hard getting out the bed I feel weaker, I heard about grounding so I grab blanket the next day and took a two hour nap outside in the park in grassy area....man I woke up feeling fully charge like a battery I felt like I slept for 8 hours and got up in a great mood👌🏾 now I take nap in the grass everyday💯
It really works wonders. I had somebody who was asked to cut off his toe and he has been cured with a special diet and grounding mat and his toe is healed after 4 months.
" I put my bare feet on the grounding pillow case over a regular pillow. It's comfortable and does the job. Yes, I sleep much better. Yes, my shoulder is now healed... I use only the pillow but I use it as a mat. I got 2 pairs of free flip flops that are grounding! I feel needles in my feet when I go outside and the earth is still wet. The conduction of electrons is very noticeable on a wet ground! Much more than the pillow that I purchased. I saw that Clint O. invented and created this in the 70's, so I purchased from his company. He is still alive. All the things you describe are included in this one purchase of the pillow case plus the gift: 2 pairs of flip flops. Even if it's a little more expensive, I love paying the genius who made this happen for our own good.
I have used Earthing products for six or seven years and have tried many different kinds. First, don't get the sheets. They lose their conductivity permanently if you sweat on them (thankfully, you have one of those testers so you'll know when that happens). My Earthing sheet lasted about a year. Also, be aware that you have to wash the sheets using a special soap that must be ordered online. It's said that it won't damage the silver fiber, but it's very expensive for soap. Washing the sheet all by itself in the machine is a big hassle too. Even if you don't tend to sweat at night, you will get sweaty if you sleep on a plastic mat, which of course the Earthing mats are. I guess this doesn't bother some people but I found it uncomfortable so I stopped taking the mat to bed with me. In my opinion, the stickers establish the best connection of all the products and are the easiest to sleep in. You can stick them to the bottom of your feet and supposedly due to reflexology principles, this will relay the benefit throughout the body. You can toss and turn in bed but they'll stay on. You can re-use them by affixing them with tape once the original adhesive loses its stickiness. I have tried the wrist bands and body bands for sleeping in, but they have to be quite snug to make the connection needed with skin. The metal component pressed against the skin becomes uncomfortable after a few hours because the skin needs air. I can never keep the body bands in place all night long. The mats are good in that they don't lose conductivity and they are fairly economical, but may be impractical in winter if you need to wear socks to keep your feet warm. Mats do require bare skin. In colder climates that makes them best suited for a computer wrist rest, in my opinion.
Can you tell me more about these stickers please? Cannot seem to find exactly what you are referring to .. If you could paste a link here i would really appreciate that, thank you very much! :)
I’ve just begun to explore this and it makes me remember that when tent camping it’s the best sleep I’ve ever had. I used to think it was just being very physically tired. Now I wonder

As an alternative to earthing via an electrical power socket you could attach a wire to the copper piping of your nearest radiator which is naturally grounded.
That sounds like an a good and cheap option to try-out. Do you have any idea how to make sure that the radiator is truly grounded for sure? I have a multi meter, could i use that to mesure it in any way? Thank you in advance 👌
You are a smart man, it is not a coincidence that those diseases started an upswing after we stopped grounding our bodies. I have been grounding for a month now and it has made a world of difference in my pain levels and sleeping quality.
I just recently came across grounding/earthing information and I find it fascinating, to say the least. Thank you, and mum, for trying out not only the products, but also the grounding process in general and reporting back to us! It’s greatly appreciated! Cheers!
Agree with all you say. I bought a carbon earthing mat and lie on it on my mattress and 10 days in I have never slept better - and have never felt more calm. I also bought blue blocker glasses to wear whilst watching my computer/tv from 6pm... I really like the less bright lights and still read or enjoy my viewing. I think the bed blanket is far better than the foot mat you showed as you lay for 8 hours solid on it - it to me has helped me sleep right through when like you I was waking 2am and not getting back to sleep ... now I sleep right through..
Yea buddy, damn straight, grounding with a bed sheet changed my life and also that of 2 of my relatives. Fix serious long term health problems. It's incredible. I don't know why so many people have such a strong aversion to it .

I agree with you cptn emergent form. Comments seems overwhelmingly positive. And, in general, you'll find most people are not receptive to new info/ideas. Never ceases to amaze me. I tell people how mold is the #1 health issue and shown them pics and 3 ten second videos of stuff I routinely find in homes and in restaurants and grocery stores etc and they're usually shocked but then do nothing and ask no follow up questions. So odd. Ask questions to satisfy your own vetting process. That's what people should do if they want to continuously improve their health and minds. Seems so obvious to me but it appears most people think expanding one's mind and improving their understanding of the world around them ends when they're done with school.
I just purchased the grounding pad for my bed. My whole life I've never liked wearing shoes as being barefoot felt good. In 2016 I asked a doctor why I'm never sick and have never had the flu in my life and it all came back to being barefoot. I've been grounding my whole life. Just didn't know it. When everyone else was paranoid about the pandemic, I couldn't have cared less. I knew if I got it I wouldn't have to worry about the degree of it. Excellent video!
Drinking black seed oil, lathering up on magnesium lotion before sitting outside barefoot, and infrared sauna have all helped my health immensely. I was exposed to toxic black mold for five years and it was the worst experience of my life (hla-dr gene)
I am grateful, I was intimidated, confused and overwhelmed for years about purchasing a grounding mat. I want not at all sure where to begin and concerns over not purchasing the right mat resulted in analysis paralysis. I was released of the intimidation and overwhelm tonight by watching your first two videos and I was able to with confidence and clarity purchase the grounding pad that was right for me. For my birthday 4 days ago, my amazing wife got me a grounding mat. I've been suffering from chronic inflammation, pain in my thoracic and lumbar area of my back, my left shoulder and my right ankle. After being on this map for at least 25 minutes now I can honestly say I've never felt this relaxed and in a way the feeling of being comforted from this mat. I'm noticing that I'm able to raise left arm up with little to no resistance from pain and I am twisting and turning my back without any real pain. There's absolutely something to this and it makes me realize how much I've been missing out on simply taking my shoes off and grounding to mother earth. I feel like I have a new lease on life that's going to lead me to it being more pain free. Thank you for your video sharing your experience with trying it out for 60 days! I'm excited and motivated to continue using this grounding or earthing mat! Cheers!
Trauma that pushes us partially out of our bodies can also be healed by grounding. Our pets that enjoy the outdoors does this for us as well as they pull by hands and feet, not just feet. We also eat less when we enjoy the outdoors.

This is true! When I’m in the nature I get healthier and in the big cities I get sick... to walk in contact with the earth is the most amazing feeling I get! When I do tracking I don’t where shoes!
I'm sure that also has nothing to do with the fact that people are walking germ factories, plus chemicals, smog, etc. compared to being out in nature and away from people. Not to mention the pure stress of being in a busy city that fatigues your body compared to being out in nature that's proven to reduce stress. It's not rocket science and it's not just because you're barefoot.

Excellent video. I’ve known about this for 8 years, and I go barefoot whenever possible. And I feel great when camping and being in nature and on the ground. However for some reason I have never gotten a grounding pad. I did attempt to ground myself with wiring directly to a ground, but it’s an old house and I didn’t know if the prong was actually grounded. I could have just checked with a multimeter or something. I had many excuses apparently for not grounding myself while sleeping in the house. I have missed out on 8 years of improved health, 8 years in which I’ve suffered some difficulties. Why on earth did I wait? I think I didn’t know that there were reasonably priced products that could get me results.

Sometimes I want to just run out and sleep on the ground. But it’s not practical. Then there’s all the time we end upon computers now. I think it’s highly important to ground while on the computer, because we are being bombarded by emf’s. You can but a outlet tester fairly cheap. You plug it into a 3 hole socket , and there will be 3 lights on the tester, that will or will not glow, when plugged in The tester has a reference table telling you if the outlet is grounded or not. It even lets you know if there a some wiring issues.
When you’re grounded, you are not charging up, you are discharging. Just like you would not want you gut to be backed up, you don’t want to be charged up.
Just something I’ve tried for the tendinitis that I believe was caused by throwing the ball for my dog constantly. I’m not kidding 😊 I added a 1/8 tsp of boron( boric acid) to my 32oz water bottle for a couple days. And it went away. They try to say boric acid is not good for you and I believe it is banned in Europe for some weird reason. But boron is found in many many food items and supplements. I don’t drink it all the time. Just when I have a pain in my joints. Thanks & be well!

Grounding is great but it's more about what we eat, when I went Carnivore which is how our ancestors ate, my arthritis disappeared as well as anxiety, blood pressure went from 130's to 105, also reversed my T2D and many other ailments.
Get a board the right size for a small mat. Cover the top surface with a single sheet of aluminium foil, tucking foil ends over to hold in place. Tear strips of duct tape to same length as the board. Stick down overlapping strips of duct tape onto foil surface until completely covered. Remove taped foil from board and flip over. You have made a conductive mat for a few pennies 😊 Clip a wire onto your mat and connect it to ground (I plugged my wire into the ground slot of a kettle/amplifier lead) and I'm standing on mine now. It feels good 👍Thank you!
Great video - Ive had a carbon grounded sheet on my bed for about 2 weeks now and my Sleep Quality score from my Fitbit watch went up from the late 80s to the early 90s and like you I now sleep longer and sounder. Its strapped to my mattress and I have cotton fitted sheets on top - apparently cotton is conductive so I'm still getting the benefits - the sheet goes to a rod out my window and into the ground.
Let us know how you get on! Just ordered some stuff to get my bed grounded. As someone who also suffers from sleep insomnia, I Cannot wait to try it either!
I got interested in this a couple of years ago and got an earthing sheet and pillowcase via Amazon, can't remember the company name. Didn't make me feel anything or help my sleep. A friend was skeptical anyway, and I came to believe it was probably all nonsense. Your video inspired me to look again. The products I'd bought, finally tested with a voltmeter, did indeed prove to be useless, but I got a mat from groundology that works. Also realised I needed to earth my Apple laptop as it was giving off a lot of static electricity. I did it by taping one of my old earthing plugs and cables from the useless products to a metal part of the computer with metal tape. Instant cessation of electric crackle, removing the stress I'd been feeling using the computer. That's already quite a change, and it all started with you, so thank you. Early days with the earthing mat, but it feels good so far.
Great video! Glad you tried it. I have been grounding along with my husband for a couple of years while it doesn’t make you superman I believe it definitely helps because our face is always in the computer and the phone and we’re pretty healthy.
You probably think I’m nuts, but I’ve used this for five days and Wow, what a relief. I suffer from arthritis in my neck and hip, very painful and was limiting my movement on my neck. I tried everything from salves, tens unit, chiropractors, etc. No Relief.. I thought oh well, what's $30.00 dollars! Ordered and after 15 minutes with this device next to bare skin on the footrest of my recliner, pain went from a 10 to 5, I can handle that. I’ve got a bad right hip and only bothers me in bed and couldn’t sleep on the right side. Now, I’m able to do that. Only had for 5 days, but wouldn’t be without it. Doing some background on grounding and found that it’s Veterinary recommended for inside dogs and cats. One of the Sphinx cat has already found that out, may have to buy another. Make sure you have a good grounded outlet and unplug it during thunderstorms. Been motoring my blood pressure and it’s been down. They claim it thins the blood, gets rid of radicals etc. I don’t know anything about that. I’m on it for hours when in my recliner. No minimum or maximum on this device.
Great update. I own several mats and give them as gifts but had stopped using them. On old issue flared back up a few weeks ago. After watching your review, I got one of my mats out and am on it right now as i write. Thanks for the reminder.
In the UK all our plug sockets are grounded, I know elsewhere you may need to run cables out from your window. I don't know how that would work and have no opinion, I haven't recommended that. Thanks for watching tho!
@@10YearsYounger I'd like that individual explain how the bare copper wire that connects the grounding rod to the ground bar in every home/building hasn't created this issue they have posted about multiple times now in your comment section 🤔
@@my_flippin_journey Yes, there are electrical codes to cover most of those eventualities. We're not talking about normal housing wiring or normal situations but exceptions. First, you're attaching your body to a length of metal. Regardless of insulation on the wire, inductance will generate transient voltage and current in that wire. The same is true with any length of wire or metal. A very brief surge from a lightning strike is enough to destroy every electronic device plugged into a major building. That's true even with most "surge" protection schemes. This is because of the very abrupt rising time of voltage in that case. This voltage will occur in the house wiring as well. Thus always unplug all electronic devices including television when a lightning storm approaches. But a length of wire out the window (the original poster) risks sustained currents just from wind, in addition to surges.
A few years back I learned of the Schumann resonance and I decided to make my own earthing wire using a strap for when repairing computers. I fell into a deep sleep in the afternoon which I never do. I never knew about grounding then but soon learned about it all and found out it was a big thing. I will go through periods where I will wear the strap when on the laptop and have it on for hours.
I'm finding after 50 yrs most the aches or pains I get are wastes toxins that deposit various places in my body and when I eat right and quit some foods they all go away. Carnivore with grassfed and pastured raised food is good way of trying for a couple months to get cleaned out of the bad stuff.
@safffff1000. I'm 71 and have found the carnivore diet to be very good for me. I messed up over Christmas and am just getting back on track, frightening to live the effects of carbs and alcohol again! Am hoping a grounding mat will help further, could really do with a good nights sleep.
I've known about this technology for some time. I ordered a grounding wrist band and was amazed of the difference. Like this man, I didn't really know what to expect, but I was thinking I might be more relaxed. I have a very serious and chronic pain in my right wrist. I was AMAZED it was gone after the second day. I had been researching the pad or the sheet and debating on which one to invest in, but this video sold me to order something immediately. I think I'm going to order the sheet first because I can either use it in bed when I sleep OR drape it over my body when I'm sitting at my desk or watching TV. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR DOING THIS VIDEO ! ! !
Thank you for sharing with us your experience.I practiced meditation for more than 20 years .. In my opinion, it is not nature that heals us, but the distance from nature that makes us sick. Once we understand this, we see that we can only be healthy in contact with nature. Science tries in vain to discover causes, and in vain tries to explain why a walk in nature is beneficial, why exposure to the sun is beneficial, why when we are part of nature we feel good. It's simple. Because we are one with life. That's how we're built. And this might be very simple and yet the most misterious in the same time.
I switched to a standing at the computer. I stand barefoot on a grounded earthing mat. I also have an grounded earthing sheet on my bed and an ionising air filter running in the bedroom
@M Egret, hi, what sort of ionising air filter? Maybe 10 Years Younger could do a video on it? I've used a humidifier with an ionising setting, but the machine started leaking and I haven't bothered replacing it. I have autoimmune dry eyes etc and lupus
@@maryhall3722 Hi Mary, just filters from a local appliance shop. Nothing special about them. I have two going continuously in the bedroom. I live in SE Asia so humidifying isn't an issue.
I was given a large grounding mat that goes under sheets and I noticed immediately too that I was sleeping better and did not have this highly anxious feeling in my body that was relieved by hours of earthing outside. It still feels good to earth but the need is not intense which is so helpful with a busy schedule often indoors / weather challenges
I really appreciate this video. I’ve had people I know (with doing no research) try to claim this is placebo effect but I love that you bought a tool to test if the mats were actually valid and not just fakes. I believe in grounding and I believe the earth heals us. It’s frustrating when people can’t acknowledge it to be true even with the NIH has research posted on their site about it.
I got a grounding bed sheet to try this out and it came with a grounding tester. So I started testing all the outlets in my room and then my house because I discovered nothing in my house was grounded! I wound up putting the cord out the window and into the ground, that's why they give you half a mile of cordage with the sheet lol.
@@terrythomas790 1. Yeah, you could be electrocuted. 2. You could have other issues like no ground or ground-neutral problems, I'd get it checked out very soon. asap. You could plan to update your sockets which I think they have a solution for that doesn't require total rewire. But either way, get it checked out.
Unfortnately I have blisters and rashes from the dirt it seems and infections from the blackberry and salmonberry thorns, but I think earthing with my hands as I make gardens out of berry thickets is as good as standing in the wet clay with my bare feet. :)
Brilliant video thank you so much for the recommendation of the organic company. I've been aware of earthing products for years but was put off by the expense and stories of fakes. My response to my clear need for grounding has been to move to the countryside near the sea but still feel a further need for grounding indoors. I will be buying the earthing sheet and their trainers! Look forward to the results 😌🌸
Great video. I just got earthing sheets and pillowcase today and I'm laying on it right now for the first time tonight. I cannot believe how sleepy I feel laying on these! Goodnight. I'm going to sleep now. I have high hopes for great results. 🙏
Your video was very clear and well spoken. I’ve just heard of grounding a few days ago and as I look more into it, it could be the answer to many health and sleep issues in suffering from. It was great to have an unbiased review of the different types of grounding pads. I’m going to try this for myself as I’m at the end of what medicine can do for me
It's also interesting to think that living in old houses made out of natural materials and stones, you could just walk barefeet in the house and gets those grounding benefit too. But in modern houses you don't have that because of the way it's built.
This inspired me to get my earthing wrist band out again. I bought one a few years back, but didn't give it much of a go. I think I took it off during some thunder storms and forgot about it. I love the theory behind it, it makes sense. whether these products are a genuine substitute for lying down on the ground I don't know. But I'm going to give it another go.
I just got back from a visit to Mexico. I spent the week in the sun, in a salt water pool, in the sun, in the ocean, walking on the sand, and I feel so much better! I went to my Zumba class, and I felt 20 years younger with surprising energy. I wonder if one variable that made me feel better is grounding.
we use a plugged in electric blanket.. we dont even turn it on in warmer weather.. its connected and earth grounded.. works perfectly all year long..and even better in winter when we actually heat it
"Tennis elbow" is most often caused by repetitive, palm downward gripping motions. Turn your palm over, "palms up" for those repetitive motions. Now you are using the large biceps muscle rather than those tiny muscles & ligaments around your forearm
By all means if you suffer from inflamation of those kinds, try to consume extra virgin olive oil. Use it in profusion on anything - especially where you might use butter, except for frying, then avacado oil works best. Seriously - from crawling out of bed because of shoulder pain for months to no pain at all in 1 single day. Do your research on it = there's lots about it.
I've consumed organic EVOO for decades, eating it on almost everything, in high quantity and virtually daily, and it never made any difference to inflammation, in my experience.
😂😂😂 I always wondered why i hated shoes so much. I dont wear them, unless i have to, to go in a store or docs office. Otherwise, i'm shoeless all day & all year long. I dont even wear them to drive.
I was always being told by family members to put my shoes on. As an adult I went to live on an island an walked in bare feet. It was surprising how many of the native people on the island commented about me not wearing shoes. I think they felt it was a sign of being poor. It didn’t stop me going bare foot!
I was very skeptical about these mats but because I have been suffering from insomnia, chronic migraines, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis for years and medicine is wreaking havoc on my stomach and liver, I decided to try it as a last resort. My husband recommended it and as I mentioned before, I was very skeptical. It just seemed like the latest new age idea that wasn't going to amount to much. I bought a cheap mat from Amazon so I wouldn't be out too much money when it didn't work. Boy was I wrong! I kept a spreadsheet of all of my issues, new and old, to see where my level was when I started and how it improved and more importantly IF it improved. Plus the competitive part of me wanted to be able show my husband it really didn't help, lol. Every single issue showed improvement. I couldn't believe it and there was no denying it! Some issues improved more than others, but all improved. The most dramatic improvements were sleep, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis. Sleep improvement took about 5-6 days to notice. I am a VERY light sleeper (noise and movement wake me since becoming a mom) and my back pain also has me tossing and turning. After I started sleeping with my feet on the mat, things improved. First it was that I fell asleep faster. Then after a few days I started to wake less. After a few more nights I started to be able to wake and fall back to sleep quicker. Then it was full nights without waking, at least when my husband was working nights and I was uninterrupted! My feet and back also started to feel better. I could get out of bed without doing 5-10 minutes of stretching in the morning. I would stand up and move without hobbling for a few minutes like before. It was wonderful! I also taught dance classes for hours and didn't have to sit during class or struggle the next day! But what really showed me that THIS was what was helping me was when I went to visit my parents for a long weekend and I didn't bring my mat! After just one day, my back was bad and my leg was giving out again (classic sciatica). After the weekend, my feet were back to aching and I was hobbling after I was sitting for a while. I returned from my trip and began grounding again and what do you know, pain free again after two days! As far as my migraines, they didn't stop, but they did improve. I have a feeling that is due to sleeping well since lack of sleep and change in sleep patterns are huge triggers for migraine sufferers. I will keep grounding and see how things progress. My hope is that it will start to improve my digestion too. To be honest, it does seem that grounding is more of a short term fix and that you need to be consistent with it to continue to see results. But I guess I can sleep on a mat or pop some ibuprofen/tylenol. The mat seems better for my organs IMO. Take it from a skeptic, there really might be something to this grounding thing even if I didn't think it was possible!
Yea most people are skeptical about this subject but like everything I guess you need to try it for yourself. Thanks for your experience I'm glad it helped
The body is not sucking in -e when grounding, it is discharging excess charge which is "noisy" and "incoherent" incoherent excess "charge" increases damage and inflammation. Grounding is absolutely wonderful for the body, but you are not in any way shape or form sucking up -e. Just look up the principle of grounding in your household appliances plugged into a grounded outlet. The body is just like an appliance circuit plugged into a "grounded" outlet and the same principle applies. Your computer is not sucking up -e when it is plugged into the grounded outlet in the wall it is getting rid of excess charge which can damage the computer.
What a great, no-nonsense (dare I quip ‘down-to-earth’) review! Thanks for this. I’m going to try this for our family. I’m keen to see how it may bring about a calmer state and also help my wife recover faster from childbirth.
Grounding/earthing is helpful, but also keep in mind that we are moving into a Solar maximum cycle and when the Earth gets hit with a strong CME and/or other Solar energetic events, that energy temporarily overwhelms the Earth's magnetic field and penetrates into the Earth. It can also flip the polarity and particularly the ground conducts that energy strongly. So instead of negative ions, if you're grounded during when one of these types of event is hitting, you'll get bombarded with an excess of positively charged particles. The good news is that the Earth quickly absorbs/counter balances all this and goes back to excess of negative ions. But, keep track of Solar weather and disconnect your grounding equipment when one of these Solar events is hitting the earth and the geomagnetic storms get strong.
I was just talking to some people and telling them I am praying for the money to buy a home because I need to be able to plant me a garden. I can't stand not being able to play in the dirt. It's such great therapy for me for sure.
I was blown away with the results, I have bought these as gifts for a lot of people. If you have senior parents it's a must! It helps with sleep Apnea and snoring as well for a few friends.
Hi, I have just found your site. I watched it due to the Earthing-grounding movie. So im interested in anything to do with that. You have both products I bought on amazon. So really happy someone else on doing exactly the same as me. Great video
i grew up in the 70's and 80's, we didn't call it earthing or grounding. we called it playing outside without shoes on. those were the days.
yes this is true
❤ rolling down the hills, making daisy chains sitting on the grass.
With shoes off, did you mean?
I would kick my shoes off at every turn as a child...it drove my mother crazy. An old man watching me run barefoot told her to leave me to run he said she'll have beautiful feet. I'm 68 and still to this day I love to walk barefoot outside. I don't do it so much now but I will be as last year my body suffered really bad inflammation that has left me with one foot that is constantly swollen. I have terrible pain and I'm hoping going back to walking barefoot helps....
After 3 weeks of grounding outside and sleeping on grounding sheets, my horrible hip
Pain is GONE. No more hot flashes and night sweats. No migraine. No waking up
At night 5 times to go to the bathroom. I am alive again 😅
Please share Earthing with everyone.

Does it work through fabric though? I thought it has to be bear skin

Or make warm milk with it with bit of stevia to sweeten
I should check with my master electrician son, however, I have noticed a huge improvement.
@@DivineMisterAdVentures*I'm not understanding what your stating*
these grounding units use the existing ground ran throughout homes. These ground wires are ran along insulated wires carrying current. Ultimately ending at a ground rod that is 8'-10' deep in the earth. A bare copper wire connects the ground rod to the ground bar where the all of the homes grounds are terminated.

@@pegoneil I don't get why people hate the idea of hugging a tree... Or just hugging in general, but that's a different rant I guess. The quickest way to get a ton of negative ions is to hug a tree that is electrically charged with them. You can get them in slow trickle by just standing on the Earth though.

Yes, society conditions us to be negative. Hard to resist all that programming but its possible.
Hey, how are you going with your neuropathy? I have horrible nerve damage and burning gums from a traumatic molar extraction, can't seem to find anything that relieves it, and was JUST thinking that maybe the grounding sleeps would do the trick after watching this video!

Amazing how many people have been transformed by this. Thanks for sharing

Hmmmm🤔

Have you tested for Lyme?
Hey Lakota Cat! How is it going?
Read Dr. sarno , healing back pain - it changed my life.
Before i started earthing two years ago i was sure I’d be using a cane by now or looking at a knee replacement. Within two weeks of sleeping on a grounding sheet I suddenly realized my knee pain was gone. I never sleep without one now, and I sit on one in my reading chair. I walk around barefoot outside all summer - it works.
amazing, thanks for watching
what brand did you purchase may I ask?
I'm glad normal, natural behavior is finally making a comeback.
Thank you!
Amazing! Did you get the Amazon one?
hello Jeremy! Could you give us the reference of the mat you are using please, and where to find it?

It removed the inflammation! Good for you! 😊
Sweating is one way the body removes toxins. I recently took a huge dose of magnesium over the course of several days and the same thing happened to me. Sweating like crazy because my body finally had what it needed to detox a bunch of junk.
@@Eyes0penNoFear how much magnesium and what kind?
Where do I find information about becoming an antenna when using a grounding sheet?
For arthritis I recommend the carbon sleep mat and carbon pillow cover. Arthritis will go away.
My mother is using that, hope it will help
@@10YearsYounger I cured three elderly relatives of arthritis by setting them up with carbon sleep mats and carbon pillow covers. The cotton sheets with silver threads will eventually stop working as the silver thread oxidizes/corrodes and loses conductivity. Make sure to check them with your continuity tester periodically and when you do wash them only use the mildest free and clear detergents and no softeners, dryer sheets etc.

but .999 silver doesn't oxidize like Sterling does, because Sterling has copper in it too. Maybe you're thinking of Sterling Silver?
Thank you for this review!! I bought my first grounding mat about two years ago and the difference I noticed was almost overnight...I wish more people understood the importance and benefits of grounding; and these mats are absolute genius during the winter months and/or inclement weather. Thanks again!!
Why did you fall for this completely debunked con?
Same here, I noticed a huge positive change
I bought a grounding sheet for my bed and now have excellent sleep.
I had somebody who was asked to cut off his toe and he has been cured with a special diet and grounding mat and his toe is healed after 4 months.
really? wow I would like to interview him on a video
@@10YearsYounger that would be a great testimony for sure
He was asked to cut off his toe?🤔😂✌️
Who asked him?
Omg mee too i got the grounding mat then i cut off my leg with a hatchet and it grew back in one year no cap!!
@@crisz12You can find stickers on the Earthing website.
You can wear socks, as long as they are cotton and thin!

If you need to sleep in socks in the winter, try to use aluminum foil or copper fabric instead of socks, or insert copper fabric into your socks

This stuff truly works!! Give it a chance and get your life back. Be well everyone.

Which one did you get? Thanks.

Does it work in apartment building???please let me know .
I am grateful, I was intimidated, confused and overwhelmed for years about purchasing a grounding mat. I want not at all sure where to begin and concerns over not purchasing the right mat resulted in analysis paralysis.
If you're already out and about in nature maybe you don't need the matt.

No mat is free win. You are supposed to be connected 24/7 anyway. Sleep is the easiest method by far. Also, I am outside everyday.
Just a bit of high resistance strap or protective resistor between you and the wire leading to ground is what protects you from normal current.

Dr. Laura Konover (intuition physician) has some great videos on earthing. Great explanation, we need more videos like this.
May I ask which one you have. There are so many options. Not sure which is really good
I really appreciate this video.
Everyone is on their own journey, when people are ready to discover something they will. Mainstream is only interested when there's money to be made.
I got a grounding bed sheet to try this out and it came with a grounding tester. So I started testing all the outlets in my room and then my house because I discovered nothing in my house was grounded! I wound up putting the cord out the window and into the ground, that's why they give you half a mile of cordage with the sheet lol.
ah, call an electrician, asap.
Yeah, you need a professional to check that out. At least double check with a real continuity detector.
If your house is not grounded that is dangerous. Please get it fixed as soon as possible.
@@tomral1 What? A lot of older homes have only 2 prong outlets. I know 3 prongs are safer, but you dont have to call an electrician asap.
Good man , you can use a cheap multimeter to test continuity..... And other electrical things 👍
So happy that you have a video on this. This is what my whole life and Art is all about.
Amazing, just checked out ur channel. Thx for watching
Great video. I just got earthing sheets and pillowcase today and I'm laying on it right now for the first time tonight. I cannot believe how sleepy I feel laying on these! Goodnight. I'm going to sleep now. I have high hopes for great results. 🙏
hope it worked
@@10YearsYounger Did he ever awaken?
Your video was very clear and well spoken. I’ve just heard of grounding a few days ago and as I look more into it, it could be the answer to many health and sleep issues in suffering from. It was great to have an unbiased review of the different types of grounding pads. I’m going to try this for myself as I’m at the end of what medicine can do for me
Hope it helps
Do you have an update now that you've been trying grounding for several months?
It's also interesting to think that living in old houses made out of natural materials and stones, you could just walk barefeet in the house and gets those grounding benefit too. But in modern houses you don't have that because of the way it's built.
Cement concrete is the culprit.
@@HarshJain-it2bg you can ground through cement. You cannot through ceramic tiles, vinyl flooring, polyester carpets etc.
@@rockjockchick concrete has high electrical resistance.
I began grounding in 2019 to help my insomnia. Sorted that out plus I've never had a cold, flu or COVID since
with a sheet or a mat?
Thank you for your review on Earthing. I was completely convinced on this after watching the documentary called The Earthing Movie. Best to you!
thx for watching
You’re very likeable and I appreciate how you simply report results and don’t pretend to be strictly scientific. Good luck on growing your channel.
thank u
Of course it's grounding. Stay Blessed and Healthy
You have done a great service with this information video.... Very well done!
Thank you very much!
we use a plugged in electric blanket.. we dont even turn it on in warmer weather.. its connected and earth grounded..
works perfectly all year long..and even better in winter when we actually heat it
"Tennis elbow" is most often caused by repetitive, palm downward gripping motions.
Started grounding in oct 2021. Never been without it since. Best investment I ever did in my whole life
What product did you find worthwhile?
😂😂😂 I always wondered why i hated shoes so much. I dont wear them, unless i have to, to go in a store or docs office. Otherwise, i'm shoeless all day & all year long. I dont even wear them to drive.
Maybe you instinctively knew all along.
I hate shoes. I lived in a surfing town in Aus and nobody wears shoes, even in the supermarkets. I was in heaven. ❤
I was always being told by family members to put my shoes on. As an adult I went to live on an island an walked in bare feet. It was surprising how many of the native people on the island commented about me not wearing shoes. I think they felt it was a sign of being poor. It didn’t stop me going bare foot!
Me too, I just rinse my feet under the hose when I get home.

Interesting, but how do you keep track of solar weather?

I was just talking to some people and telling them I am praying for the money to buy a home because I need to be able to plant me a garden. I can't stand not being able to play in the dirt. It's such great therapy for me for sure.
