Actually I think it was a big mistake to play Finley by the warrior. Besides, I prefer to have elise in deck I have Malchezaar in as I can reroll bad legendaries such as Finley. Unless the warrior thought Justicar would give him the upgraded warrior hero power which would be just retarded, but something a less informed player might think.

If you are talking about raven idol then you can choose both a minion and a spell. It wouldn't work on any other discover cards because they don't have "choose one" in their text.

For this specific match up yes, but the deck needs to beat other decks too and has to be optimized for doing such - elise does not do that since against every other deck our win condition of anythink will always be good enough (since it always does 30 damage minion unless opponent plays murlocs) - often it will still be good enough anyway
Stream sniping... Let's say that you play against Amaz, but you watch his stream while you play against him. That's basically it, playing against someone while watching their stream. It obviously gives a huge advantage.
I had a similar game recently against a Warrior and ended up losing because they got their Justicar a lot sooner. If he got his sooner too he would have won this game - I'm thinking the best chance you really had was just to play the second anythink can happen as soon as you drew it - he'd just used a brawl and there's no guarantee at all that he has the second one in hand. (he didn't even know you had a second anythink as you only just drew it) - if he doesn't have it you guarantee a win, and if he does it's not a guarantee loss since you have your hero power for face damage, other minions + consecration and truesilver
