Wow! Love your store front! So vibrant and gorgeous that big. Well done you!
Thank you so much, Melissa!!
Your vlog gives a nice balance of work and taking care of yourself. Very important when you work from home and are self-employed. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you so much! So true, learning work from home boundaries is so important :)
Your videos bring some much needed calm, and for that I am extremely grateful.
Thanks for watching, I'm so glad they're able to provide some calm in your day :)
Beautiful kitty 🤍 I love this channel
Thank you so much for watching ❤
Hi Kim 😊 - I simply adore your art work and I'm always inspired when seeing you draw, illustrate, and more both for your personal drawings as well as client work.
Congratulations! The piece for rent the runway is spectacular! 🎉🎊🥂🎨🖼. Your videos are always so wholesome and there is just something about them that resonates so much with me.
Stay safe and well 💖👑
Oh, thank you so much, Haseena!! ☺️☺️ That means a lot to me, stay well!
Your Rent the Runway piece looks great, and I shared your "coffee ice" idea with another art vlogger ice coffee fan in Australia, so your coffee pro tip is circling the globe.
Haha thanks so much! I can't take credit for discovering the coffee ice idea, but it certainly was a game changer :)
I was waiting for your video 🙌🏻 Love your voice 🥺❤️
Aw, thank you so much!
Hi Kim, your videos are so calming and inspiring, really set the mood for me to start my day, thank you so much!!! And stunning storefront piece, omg! Since you work in photoshop, it’s in pixel right, just wondering how does it look so sharp and clean in such big scale, thank you!!💓💓
Hi Sheila, thanks so much for watching :) You’re right about the piece being in pixel rather than vector. Luckily I was able to get away with a high dpi and 1/3 scale in terms of inches ;)
@@kesalt 1/3 scales in terms of inches? I am little confused 😂 but it’s okay, thank you so much for replying 🥰🥰
Wowww the Rent the Runway mural looks so good, Kim!!! * 0 *
Thank you, Christina!!! 😭💖
Just found your channel! Love your work and Ciao standing up on hind legs gives me life 😹
Haha thanks so much, I'm really glad you found my channel!
Hi, love these videos! Can you do a FAQ vid about how you got into illustration? Did you go to art school or are you self-taught? How did you develop your style? Where do you find your clients? Any advice for people wanting to become an illustrator? Thank you!
Ah, thank you! Great suggestion, I'll have to practice talking to the camera or find a way to answer them in a VoiceOver! Those are all such great questions, I'll definitely have to address them in a future vid :)
Love the vlog! Congrats on your work it looks amazing blown up that big. Recently discovered posca markers myself they’re pretty cool different to what I’m used to
Thanks so much, Claire!! Yes, totally different! I didn't expect how opaque they are, totally fun to layer
hey, loved your vlogs! I'm curious, is that a Cintiq on your desk ? What size is it, looks so compact and perfect size! Also, would love to know what resolution do u usually work at ?
I believe its the 24 in version! And usually I work at 300 - 400 dpi
You look gorgeous
Thank you! :')
Wow, that storefront turned out sooo nice, well done! What scale and resolution did you work at, since that needed to be printed so large? Surely it could not have been 100% to scale at 300DPI?
Hi Tayla, thank you!! I had the same question for my agent - turns out drawing at scale will wreck your cpu! I ended up drawing at 1/3 scale at 300 dpi, and that worked just fine :)
@@kesalt oh wow, ok 👍 looked like perfect quality in the video
Mana, você precisa de uma cadeira decente aí, mulher. 😱
One day! A girl can dream 😂
