That first cast partner had me thinking”yea he’ll know it’s a human not a mullet” just the way you cast out, it made my mind think it was heading for your buddy!😂😂
I’ve got a question about fishing in POC. I just went fishing yesterday and struggled to catch quality fish. The weather was pretty bad to start the day off with Highwinds out of the north and temperatures at about 55°, but cleared up to be a beautiful day in the afternoon. At about 11 AM the water became pretty muddy and water visibility was bad along with high tides. I have heard that a tide repeats itself every two weeks. I am planning another kayak trip but it will be two weeks from today when this same type of tide will be present supposedly. My question is, are my chances going to be bad at POC again with these conditions? Should I take my fishing trip to a different part of the Texas coast? Wanted to pick your brain since you’re a credible source and may have some experiences.
This time of year most of the action is in the upper parts of the bay. This instagram.com/p/B2r7gK2gJvi/ is the reason. Also, with that front just blowing thru we when from pretty low pressure to a high pressure really quick. That usually kills the bite for a couple of days. They still have to eat, so best odds are using a popping cork with cut bait or shrimp. Send me a message on instagram and I'll show you some great fall/winter spots.
Mr. Trailchaser, have you ever launched out of Charlie's? I was there is in Jan and then Apr, but too much wind. Caught limit of Reds on the inside and limit of Trout on the other side.
Hey buddy, quick question!! what size is your outcast texas slam rod? Been looking into one of those just dont know what size to get. Any recommended size?
Ya, I usually do that when I'm in a pretty hot area. I had the popping cork sitting in an area that reds seem to travel pretty often. If you look close you'll notice that's the same place I caught the topwater red in the last video. I'm just sitting on the north side of that point.
The reason I ask and I have the same kind can you do I have a 230cm MM whatever it is they measured by and I feel like it's too short I'm wondering is it just me
Another great video! Sight casting those marshes looks like so much fun!
Once again, solid video! That drag scream is hypnotizing.
Gotta love those topwater blowups with reds! So sweet...
Those must be some pretty good sunglasses if you can see entire schools of fish through that water 😂
I can see way way better than the camera. I have to literally be right over the top of them looking down for the camera to see into the water.
That place looks like redfish heaven! Nice video bro!!
PFD_TV because it is..redfish heaven is in Port O Connor 😆😉

I know this is probably a stupid question but how long of a paddle do you use
I got the longest paddle werner sold in that model. It's 8ft 2in from tip to tip.
Ok thanks I know I'm a Noob and all this thanks for helping me find my way
Nice Trail. What were you using under the cork while you were also using the top water?
