POC is a great place to fish! The people are the best. Even though it survived the hurricane with just moderate damage, the folks there have been helping the smaller towns around them that were not so fortunate. You are so in Big Heart! Country!!!
OMG Holy Shezzzzzballs!! That Black Drum! What the what? Never have I ever... seen one like that. I had no idea... Thank you for sharing!! Thumbs up on your new Hobbie Life-Jacket, and very happy to see you wearing sun glasses to protect your eyes from the sun AND hooks.
I know the feeling of losing a nice size red and the worst thing is that he was a ft away from me and there was a guy there just looking i didnt have a landing net and he did and didnt bother helping
Black drum is good eating. Cleaning is the key. Get rid of any red fatty tissue, keep only white meat. Remember the hump in the spinal vertebrae, they will mess up the process.
Sorry I didn't explain myself. I'm going to do a quick video on the setup. But to answer your question it's a Shimano Conquest 100 spooled with 40# Power Pro.
Mark have you ever had a game warden stop you when coming back on land, just curious. When I go to Texas City Dike I see game wardens checking people's boats

I had a great time there, I’ll be coming back for sure!
Great Video Mark. I can't wait to do it again.
I’m ready when you head back down there. I was looking at some of the other guys channels that you told me about. They’re pretty legit.
awesome collaboration w/ TrailChaser. Thx for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
My two favorite kayak anglers

Thank you so much for using my song on your videos! Congrats for the quality!
Do you mind me using your other tracks? I'd still credit you in my description.

Great video! I love TrailChaser!!
He’s a great fisherman!
Keep up the good work, Mark. Love the vids.
Thanks
Gotta love those trick worms. My "go to" bait this season has been a Zoom 8" black Trick Worm.
I was tired of the pin fish taking my gulp tails so this filled the void. I do like them for bass though.
Love your videos man!
Thanks!
So cool!
Another great video Mark! Loved the airborne ladies. And that big ugly, whoa, look at the head on that thing...
Thanks!
great vids brother! subscribing to your channel, fish on! 🐟
I really want to thank you for the support!

It’s the worst.

Love catching them rat reds they get all excited.
They sure do!
Nice catching and narrating. What kind of reel are you using and string?
You're the second one thats asked, I'll work on it soon.
MDLR Fishing Hopefully no harm in the asking. Always good learn from other fellow fishermen favor of gear.

MDLR Fishing thank you. Keep up your great video's for amateurs such like me. :)

I’ve never been stopped for search reasons but I have had them come over to ask about my setup for both the kayak and camera.
what size hook?
What’s the average length fishing rod are you using when fishing from a kayak ?
7’ or longer. I need the leverage and also have to clear the bow of the kayak if the fish runs from one side to the other.
Was that a day trip? Or did you stay over night? If over night where did you stay?
It was as a day trip.
Hi mark, what battery you use for the FF?
I use a 12v 32ah battery from East Penn Manufacturing. It’s called the intimidator.
