Lemme debunk this. The separatists far outnumbered the empire (this is logic just by looking at the factories on geonosis and elsewhere) The empire on average didn't have better military leaders. Most star destroyer captains were incompetent and were hated by their troops. The only good leaders I can think of off the top of my head from the empire are Veers, Thrawn, and Vader. There were others but due to antagonization from tarkin (partially) many of them either ended up dead or left the empire. The empire didn't have better starfighters at all. The TIE fighter was extremely cheap and easy to destroy. The vulture droid was far faster and more capable than a TIE fighter. The only argument you could make about the empire having a superior starfighter would be the TIE defender which wasn't implimented nearly enough to make a valid point. I dont know much about imperial generals so you may be right. Veers was a great general. But if you base it off the comics than grievous was a genuinely good general (up for debate on who's better though) Thrawn was a large exception when it came to imperial admirals. If you're talking about who had the singular best admiral than fine but if it's in general than thrawn doesn't make a huge difference. Even in the clone wars series which was heavily biased against the separatists, they still had incredible admirals (trench for example) Infantry is debatable based on what you define as infantry. For example is infantry just tue b1 battle droids or does it count for the b2 battle droid and all its varients? Because b2 battle droids are extremely strong and durable, not to mention the heavy assault varient that gives it a rocket launcher. Special forces is just wrong. The separatists had droidekas that were basically invulnerable to blaster fire and you jeeded a rather technical method to destroy them (throwing a droid popper or thermal detonator is just the right way to get through its shield, sneak up behind it, or destroy it while it's rolling. Commando droids are fast and extremely tactical, likely moreso than most special forces in the empire. Magnaguards are self explanitory. Ok now for the leader, its a bit odd to cover since palpatine played both the republic and separatists during the clone wars, but we're going to say that dooku lead the separatists since he mostly did. Dooku was overall a better leader than palpatine. Palpatine created a system in the empire that wasn't based on merit, but instead on loyalty. Dooku overall was very kind to most of his associates whether it be military commanders, parliament, or the separatist council, and he overall promoted freedom to all the worlds in separatist space. I was gonna argue the part about the enforcers but ehhhhh, that one is honestly right. The superweapon arguement is tricky. The geonocians designed the death star, and they were separatists, but the empire built and controlled it, so it's somewhat debatable. In the end the empire versus separatists is a debateable topic that can't really be solved just off of basic factors like who has more numbers or who has the biggest super weapon. I hope this has enlightened some that there isn't any certain way to tell who would win due to there being so many factors. Thank you all for reading (i know you skipped some), goodbye.
The Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) had a unique advantage in battle due to their use of droid armies. These droids were programmed to follow orders without question, making them ideal for executing complex tactics quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, the Galactic Empire relied heavily on human soldiers, who were less maneuverable and could be swayed by emotions like fear and doubt. In addition, the CIS utilized a variety of different droids for different purposes, ranging from small, agile battle droids to massive, heavily armed droidekas. This allowed them to adapt to different battle situations and overcome tactics used by their opponents. The Rebel Alliance, which also relied heavily on guerrilla tactics, would have found it difficult to predict the CIS's tactics and react accordingly. Furthermore, the CIS's ships were designed for more tactical maneuvering, rather than brute strength. The Providence-class cruisers, for example, were particularly effective at flanking maneuvers and surprise attacks. The Imperial navy, on the other hand, relied on larger, more heavily armed vessels, which meant they were less capable of quick, tactical maneuvers. One example of the CIS's effectiveness in battle is the Battle of Ryloth, which was detailed in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In this battle, a small CIS fleet successfully outmaneuvered a much larger Republic fleet by using unpredictable tactics and overwhelming firepower. Overall, the CIS's use of droids and tactical flexibility gave them an advantage over both the Republic and the Rebel Alliance. While the Galactic Empire had access to larger, more powerful warships, they lacked the CIS's ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances on the battlefield. So in my opinion the C.I.S would have a a closer fight.
@@thegingerbreadgod1312if it was AI it wouldn't even know what a droid is in Star wars. But, the 2008 clone wars nerfed the B1 battle droids they made them sentinal.

agreed. although the sheer amount of Droid starfighters might pose some difficulty in space superiority, the Empire is just built to outgun anything they come across
The thing is that TIE fighter tactics are the exact same toward the CIS starships, swarm tactics with low firepower. Tie fighters in terms of weapons are near identical to vulture droids, except one has smarter brains and larger amounts of ships, I wonder who’s gonna win? The copy cat or the one who did it better
Yah, this. Empire has a few gems... Thrawn, Veers, etc. but many of their officers are notoriously stupid, promoted on a political basis rather than on merit and despised by their troops. Meanwhile, the CIS builds supercomputer tactical droids 🤣
The empire holds a special place in my heart but the droids are so iconic and memorable and I love them both equally. Also the droids had MUCH more numbers than the empire
@@jeffproplay The Empire technically has the entire galactic population to pull from in order to fuel their war. In spite of how large the droid army is, even they can't scale to that.

@@jeffproplay The quintillion number has been disputed as CIS propaganda and when you account for the droid cost, it is not hard to grasp why. If you would like to hear the numbers, I will gladly read them here.
The CIS lost to the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire has better equipment and much larger weapons than the Republic had. The empire just has worse infantry than the Republic since it has enlisted men isn't of clones that were raised to be soldiers.
This would probably have been the closest fight if it had actually happened, the empire has the advantage in firepower and battleships, but the separatists have larger numbers especially in the commando droids and tri fighters. The CIS could be revived provided that technically and politically they were at the level of the end of the clone wars, because in non-canon there was a separatist uprising and of course it was suppressed, but it was not as large-scale as during the clone wars. Even if we take the beginning of the clone wars with all its living creatures: Dooku, Grievous, the Separatist Council, the dark successors of Dooku, Durge, Ventress, who is still on the side of the CIS, then their chances of victory would be enormous, and without all the former separatist leaders, then there will definitely be no victory
I have just recently watched this video and I don't agree with this and I do have some proof. 1. Number, CIS Wins: Now I did some research and the only thing I could find was the Empire had almost around 300 million troops plus pilots and officers that could probably make a billion But The Cis had almost a trillion troops with different variants. Plus it had some living beings so that can also be around a couple million. We also have to factor that there were just so many different types of vehicles in CIS then the Empire. 2. Trooper Variety, CIS Wins: Now this one you are correct the CIS had so many different variants of Droids that pretty much every Droid was made for every single situation. The Empire did have a variance of different troops but not by much. 3. Battle Exp, CIS Wins: you're also correct on this one and CIS had way more experience than the Empire. 4. Navy, CIS Wins: once again you're also correct on this one the CIS had way more different types of ships for every situation. Yes the Empire had better ships and some areas but CIS had so many different variants of different ships that they swarm the empire. 5. Better Warship, Empire Wins: now once again this is going to be a hard one because the Empire does have better ships but there are more vulnerable but the CIS does have one ship that could pretty much destroy any imperial ship and that is a Malevolence. The Malevolence can just shoot a EMP blast at any ship and all the power will cut off. Making any imperial ship defenseless and the CIS can just wipe them out easily. The only problem was was that there were only like a couple Malevolence ever made so the Empire will have a better chance. 6. Military Leaders, TIE: Now to be honest the CIS in my opinion has the better leadership in the military and most of the time in the Empire. The leadership are just bad. The only reason why this is tie because the empire's best leader is admiral thrawn. And he is like the only imperial Commander that can actually get the job done but other than that the CIS would probably have a better chance. So give this a Tie. 7. Starfighters, CIS Wins: To be honest CIS wins in a landslide. The CIS in my opinion has the best starfighters and the Vulture Droid vs Tie Fighter. This is an easy win for the Vulture Droid. Yes there was one TIE fighter variant that was pretty much unstoppable but the Droid fighters just had so much that they would just swarm the Empire. 8. Better Tactics, CIS Wins: To be honest the CIS had way better tactics than the Empire and I don't think I have to say more. 9. Better Generals, TIE: The only reason why this is a tie is because the Empire had Admiral Thrawn but other than that the CIS had way better generals than anybody In The Empire. The Empire just had just too much ego and CIS we're more defensive with their tactics. So I would generally say the CIS would have won for the generals. 10. Better Admiral, Empire Wins: Once again Admiral Thrawn is just too good but I do think Admiral Trench would be a challenge for Admiral Thrawn. 11. Infantry, CIS Wins: Now I'm going to be honest I'm not saying you have done your research but the CIS just had way better infantry and they had different variants. Also most of the empire's infantry were just bad. Yes or some infantry that was pretty good but other than that the CIS are just better with their infantry. 12. Special Forces, CIS Wins: Now I do know that the Empire has probably better Special Forces but the CIS has different droids for their special forces that they can do different tasks. So I do believe the CIS would have won in the special Forces Calgary. 13. More Force Users, Empire Wins: This is correct empire does have more Force Users. 14. Leader, Tie: The only reason why this is a tie is because The Empire and The CIS are both control by palpatine so this is why it's tie. 15. Enforcers, Empire Wins: Yeah Darth Vader is a great Enforcer but I do think General Grievous can hold on his own if he plays smart. 16. Super Weapons, Tie: Now I know what you're thinking the Death Star should probably easily destroy any CIS ship but I think that's not true. Now once again the CIS does have the Malevolence and If the Malevolence shoots it's EMP blast it will just turn off all power making the Death Star vulnerable to any attacks. This is why this is a Tie. Also I forgot to mention that the CIS made the Death Stars plans. So this means the CIS will know the Death Stars weakness So the score should be CIS 12 and The Empire 8: Winner Confederacy of independent systems: MID-HIGH DIFF.
The CIS had well over a trillion in canon :D also the Malevolence is called a Subjugator-Class! Not only this about the point with the death star the CIS designed it! So therefore they would know every weakness, however the Subjugator Class does have limits, the ion beam puts massive strain on the power and depending on how large the vessel is the Malevolence beams would only affect it for a certain amount of time.
I would give the super weapon point to the CIS considering they built the malevolence, and also designed the original plan for the Death Star before imperial architects added more stuff onto it and made it redundant because of stardust
@@GeneralGrievous_CIScanon = 180 million whilst in legends it’s in the quintillion It’s also important to note 60% of the droid army was never used and they were meant to lose the clone wars so the empire could take over.

Cis gets numbers and starfighters , there are several videos explaining how good vulture and tri_fighter droids were , and it was stated that by the end of the clone wars , there was more droids than any organic army !
The CIS is known for being the largest army EVER in star wars lore. Also many of the factors seem to be on purpose on the Empire's favor. When it comes to things like logistics and cost effectiveness (Battle droids need neither food nor sleep) the CIS has no competition.
Cis should won the numbers. Aircraft wise, it would be tough to judge that. Cis had the tri fighter that would give the Empire hell, plus the tactics used by the Cis with its aircraft would be troublesome for the empire. So the Cis would be at 7 in my opinion. Plus the Cis ships would probably outnumber the empire navy in certain battles. Another thing, droids can be program to fight and see action same day, empire have to train troopers in a few months or more.
Being outnumbered wouldn’t matter, Imperial ships were more advanced and simply better than CIS ships, they were larger and had better guns, the CIS navy would go down without a fight.
The CIS have nigh infinite numbers as troops can be massed produced It is true the Empire has large numbers too The Empire also have superior generals as well as Admirals
@@Tomszpl Depends on the source. Many have dismissed the quintillion number as purely CIS propaganda while lower numbers were dismissed as Republic propaganda. @@kingorange7739The bankers and the other CIS leaders were rich as hell, and don't forget about general grievous he's like a master mind. And they had trillions not quintillions.
@@propiggaming921 The quintillions number has been dismissed mainly as Separatist propaganda, and it is not hard to understand why. Going by the B1s alone. One single B1 battle droid costs 1,800 credits. One E-5 blaster rifle (Droids main weapon) costs 600 credits. So we are giving the total cost of a Separatist droid soldier 2,400 credits. Now if you run the math, just one quintillion battle droids is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000. Multiply 2,400 times 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 and you get the total cost of 24,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 credits. I don't think I need to explain how those numbers are simply madness when the Death Star (Which was considered highly expensive) merely costed the Empire 1 trillion credits (1,000,000,000,000). Like at that point, you are suggesting a war time rebellion had a 24 billion times the budget of the entire galactic economy during the Reign of the Empire.

Thrawn was a large exception when it came to imperial admirals. If you're talking about who had the singular best admiral than fine but if it's in general than thrawn doesn't make a huge difference. Even in the clone wars series which was heavily biased against the separatists, they still had incredible admirals (trench for example)
Infantry is debatable based on what you define as infantry.

This would probably have been the closest fight if it had actually happened, the empire has the advantage in firepower and battleships, but the separatists have larger numbers especially in the commando droids and tri fighters. Also i have no doubt the inquisitors would get destroyed by grievous and ventress, but vader would clean house. I’m gonna say empire, but very very close
Thing is vader and inquisitors cant be everywhere; the sheer numbers of droids and general effectiveness of CIS tactical droids as commanders would destroy everywhere else and eventually the CIS would control most galactic territory so end up as the winners

Personally, the fact that the CIS can produce more and more soldier is a heavy advantage compare to the empire. Long life to the CIS
A fine addition to my collection
I love it its my fav Edit
So this means the CIS will know the Death Stars weakness
So the score should be
CIS 12 and The Empire 8: Winner Confederacy of independent systems: MID-HIGH DIFF.

Also many of the factors seem to be on purpose on the Empire's favor. When it comes to things like logistics and cost effectiveness (Battle droids need neither food nor sleep) the CIS has no competition.
Depending on sources, it is true though that the battle droids were the most cost efficient.
Creo que lo mencionaron, la república no podia usar a los droides porque este infundian temor porque eran sus antiguos enemigos.

It's always been like that
The CIS start producing droids/equipment that will help them achieve victory in the war, palpatine is scared of that thing ruining his plans, leaks the base of where that thing is being built, they send in the usual Anakin, Obiwan, sometimes even Ansoka Tano later on in the serie, the thing gets destroyed due to still not being in large quantities or plot armour, repeat

CIS had way more troops than the Empire it was the biggest army in Star wars history Palpatine and Dooku kept tons of droids in reserve as an emergency and because they could wipe out the GAR through numbers
