2:02:56 i hunt the big woods of Pa like beau, though i live 3 hours south on the mason Dixon line. Its not so much number of spots as ground covered in scounting. I will try to scout 3 different 1sq mile areas each spring and summer, in anticipation of the fall. These three areas will be one brand new 1sq. Mile chunk each summer, one 1 sq mile ive scouted before but dont know well yet, and one 1sq mile area i know well and has produced for me in the past. Ive been doing this for 10 years now, and have 6 core 1sq mile that i know i can go to and find deer, probably 4 areas i need to scout more cause i like how they look, and a handful of spots i want to get to yet. However! Once the fall gets here, my scouting plan changes dramatically. Ive spent the spring and summer finding buck/deer concentrations i want to hunt. Now i focus my scouting trying to find 3-10 actual spots, where i feel like ill be able to find the buck I want, or see plenty of deer. And ill hunt those through the fall, very rarely venturing off one of those plans. Even if those plans completely ignore an area i did scout thoroughly in the spring and summer and find at least interesting
5:33 im boring i guess, but plain old chocolate chip cookie is good for me. Now better question is, what kind of pie do you want around Christmas? And i make a fantastic peanut butter pie topped with chocolate fudge, also make a very good bumble berry pie (blackberries, blueberries, huckleberries). The recipe is likely well over 100 years old, comes from a lady named alberta from central PA. She died around the age of 98 and odds are the recipe came from her mother, grandmother, or further back.
Oh man what a coincidence 😂 Beau and I are currently heading down to camp to do a podcast for east meets west.
Oh heck yea
