Ive done quite a bit of the highway right now Mexico especially the south is very dangerous a lot of americans crossing over the border are being shaken down by local police and federalis I hope they line up in a caravan not by themselves when they go through and further south from mexico its a bit dicey also when they cross over into Colombia they should be good and watch in Ecuador they were the biggest shake down country for me besides Mexico wish them luck!!
@@VanlifewithAlan poorer though, Colombia has military along all the routes for FARC and other agencies out there Ecuador does not so the cops like mexico can and will shake you down!
I am sure Alan meant the other way round. Needs to build a little more confidence when interviewing and perhaps prepare an interview road map before starting.

We have a diesel, that was mistake in the video. We have 2 tanks, 90 l and 210 l the second tank. And the consumption is 14 l if you take it easy 😉
Yes, sorry I said it was petrol. I thought that they had stopped producing in diesel.

Ecuador being the biggest shake down country does surprise me! I thought it was more stable than Colombia or Peru for example.

There’s something available, but you need room to store it. And if it’s really cold, we sleep “downstairs “ 😊
