Hello, I’ve been sewing for about 60+ years. My mom taught me when I was very young. ( I still have her machine that I learned on). I taught my daughter and then also taught my two granddaughters. They were very ambitious sewing a baby quilt for their neighbor,s new baby. And very proud of their accomplishments.
Congrats! I have been sewing since I was young, but only simple things. I didn't start to quilt or make bags or complicated things until about 6 years ago, when I needed to find a way to let off some steam and keep my sanity, lol. My Mom started teaching me on her High School graduation gifted Singer Featherweight back in 1965 (53 years). I have been sewing on and off since then, clothing and my latest love of quilting. It is my "muse" - keeps me centered. ♥
