Nice review of the frame. I'll pick one up when in US stores. Thanks!

Fitting the Walksnail V3 VTX needs a bit of 'Dremel' modification but is good 🙂The V1, V2 larger cases will not fit 😞 It's a great frame, real quality. Looking forward to your build review Darren

I'm talking about the PRO metal plate. The standard flat plate should be good for all

      Thanks for that information Steve.
It’s a shame the older VTx don’t fit. But I guess SpeedyBee is sister to RunCam, who are in bed with DJI. And it’s been pretty well discussed recently on the tactics DJI are taking to try and be the monopoly.

I love this frame. A 30 X 30 stack is a bit of a challenge. I used a Speedybee F7 V2 stack, and the way that worked best was with the ESC flipped upside down on top, and the flight controller below it in normal orientation. Luckily I saw this on a different build video (Bilu Media), or it might have been even more of a struggle. It flies great though.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll keep that in mind so far the whole thing’s upside down and the build is going ok. The first thing I found is the need to use shorter screws than are supplied with the stack, and none are provided in the frame kit. Not a. Big deal. But something to be aware of. The rear USB extension will come in very handy.

@@MrD yea, that extension is great. No taking apart or trying to work a USB inside the frame. For quick changes in the field the speedybee app with Bluetooth is nice. But at home I'd rather go the traditional route with USB so the vtx isn't heating up.

@@MrD and building it upside down adds to the complexity too, since I was not only orienting the stack different than normal but also doing it upside down at the same time😬

I built one a couple of weeks ago using the innards of my cinelog35, that had already been in a cloud 149 v2 frame (they are bulletproof).
I'm wondering if a mamba F722 DJI MK2 mini stack will fit inside the pro frame with a vista unit?
    Thoughts appreciated.
