Windshield wipers... lmao that's freaking genius man. I sat here one night trying to just come up with a cool use for a servo to take advantage of an extra channel I had. Never would have thought of a wiper.
You have to take the servo apart and mess with the potentiometer. I can’t remember exactly what I did since it was a long time ago. There should be videos about converting a servo for 360 rotation.
@@TrekRC thanks for the quick reply, I have tried a few tricks on UA-cam but most just leave me with a servo that when it gets more than 180⁰ it will just spin out of control. lol cool video Thanks for sharing your videos.
I want to do long range FPV, but on a budget - DJI is out of the question. What transmitter did you use? The RadioLink and DumboRC both claim 600 meters/ 1800 feet. I don't see that Crossfire is all that necessary. What range were you able to get with the camera/ VTX that you used? Is it necessary to power the camera and VTX with 4S or did you do this because of all of the other pieces you powered with it? I may have missed it, but which antenna did you use? Great build. Thanks.
I use a fly sky fs-i6 transmitter. I only used a 4s battery because it was a spare one I didn’t need. I get around 500m of range in open areas. Hope this helps
@@TrekRC You happy with the video quality? I'm thinking about getting the Caddx Turbo Micro F2 with Microphone. Same video quality (1200TVL) as your EOS2.
@Tommy Tucker I think the quality is okay but i haven’t really done a fair test because Ive only used it properly once when there was a sunset which made it difficult to see. On a cloudy day it seems better because there is lower brightness but I haven’t tested for a long period yet.
@@TrekRC It's never going to be HD like most FPV cameras. The camera I have is an Eachine TX04 (700TVL) Wide Angle camera mounted on an FTX Outback Mini 2.0. Video quality sucks but the wide angle lens is great because you can see the bonnet/hood with the camera mounted on the roof. A wide angle FPV HD camera with sound would be perfect.

Yeah bro, awsome built 👍🔥🔥
Thank you 😃
@@TrekRC and i forgot, the wipers with the servo IS very smart 👏
Thank you, I’ll do some testing when it rains 👍
@@TrekRCI'm waiting for that 😁
A lil kid could build that 😂😂😂
Sweet bro u have a way cool setup with In car view and windshield wipers???? Super cool bro I subbed
Thank you!
what kind of modifications did you do to the servo for it to be controllable? Every one I try to modify after 180⁰ it goes crazy.

How did you connect go pro to be fpv camera?
I didn’t, I have 2 cameras (1 FPV and 1 GoPro) although I think it’s possible to use just the GoPro. I don’t know how sorry.
What did you use to power the vtx so it wouldn't over heat or how did u connected it to the main battery ?
I used a separate 4s Lipo battery
Dope setup bro!!! What crawler did you use to make that platform for the camera to sit on?
I used maverick scout chassis
Yeah

I used a 5.8 ghz antenna off Amazon
I used a 5.8 ghz antenna off Amazon
@@TrekRC Thanks. I have the GT3C that all of my vehicles are on, but the range is shorter than what I'd like.
Were you filming when you crashed it?
No, wasn’t filming
Cool project! What model Caddx FPV camera you using?
Thank you, mine is the Caddx Turbo EOS2 FPV Camera
