Hi there! I love your way of instructing it's so easy for me to learn. Is there any way you could play this song in it's entirety in the same key you teach it in? I am just having a hard time figuring out how the first part goes when it's all together. I love this song it's beautiful!

Kate, I will be glad to! Just give me a bit and I will repost. I am actually reformating this lesson as the lessons are not free so I will be removing the end. I will actually include the complete tune in the new lesson!

As a beginner HD owner I have no clue what you are talking about. 123. I understand box chords somewhat but .......

Hi Ellen...In your scales, which are set up as boxes on your instrument...you have those eight notes. Depending on the size of your instrument and starting at the bottom you have an A scale, then at the next marked course, D, then G, then C. Within each scale< let's say the G scale< you have G, A, B, C and then crossing to the left side of the center or treble bridge and moving back down to the marked course, D, E, F# and G. The numbers are a tab system. 1 ir the first note or G. 2 is the second note of the scale or A, 3=B, 4=C etc. Think of a dice with eight dots. Not everyone reads music so this is an easy system for them to follow. I hope that helps!

To play it with the left hand, you sure did use your right hand more so. 🤣
