I didn’t understand anything he was saying but the emotions of the dance, the composition, and the way he sings had tear well in my eyes.And when I read the lyrics I cried again. Ok, something really amazing that NOBODY is talking about is his vocal improvement. He already sang well, but now, can you hear that resonance? His head voice is really better, he is less nasal, he has a lot more power and control, I love this boy so much. A lot of idols stop to improve vocally after some time, but he and Junhui are just getting better and better, to a level that they could be a part of the vocal team without doubts. I'm so proud of him ;_;
I honestly think the seventeen member that changed and grew the most since debut is Minghao. Being one of the last to join Pledis he had only trained for a few months before debut, and back then he was so shy and struggled to express himself. But now? He’s developed his strengths and skills and he knows how to be the puzzle piece in seventeen and work seamlessly as a part of a team but he’s also able to come out on his own and create his own art with his own style. I’m so happy to see this and so proud of the artist he’s become 💜
I think it was more like pledis made him have this “shy and cutesie” persona. Like how Mingyu said at Fine Brothers that he had the same personality as Seungkwan but he has to talk less as the “visual”. Nevertheless, I’m glad Minghao is unapologetically being himself now.
Hiền Hồ i’ve always thought of this, i mean he was introduced to 17TV around 3rd quarter (?) of 2014, but he probably been training at pledis early 2014. i mean they can’t just include a new trainee to the potential debut group around that time when all the existing members are experienced trainees already and ready to debut. Pledis probably saw a huge potential in him that he was moved to 17 after short period of basic training.
Minghao made this song for himself!! He wrote the lyrics, choreographed, and was even very detailed in the video shooting. He is a genius and an artist with his own unique style. This project made him so happy to create since he participated in everything so let’s makes sure he knows his hard work is appreciated!!!

the song's lyrics are about facing pain and feeling hopeless, and despairing about why he can't feel better and why he can't escape. the dance is supposed to represent his darker side or possibly some external force trying to control him and tell him how to act or what to feel. when the light focuses on him, he's breaking through, but when it doesn't, he's succumbing to the bad thoughts. the blue light represents the worst times where he's completely at the mercy of the dark shadow, but both times the blue light happens he has a burst-through moment leading to the end, where the bright light and fog and reaching up moments show that he's finally trying to make his way out of the darkness.

As someone who don't have any idea about dance, I can say that he really express it so well. I was crying so bad when he make a 'flying bird' gesture as I felt that he try to 'fly away' from this world and it feels like I was stabbed in a heart when he make those gesture. i was 11 years old when this song came out. i was having a hard time with covid, and the start of online school was hell. sure it was silly, but living through it was hell, outside of online school too, was hell at the time. i hated being home, hated my school. when i heard this came out, i was ecstatic. minghao is my bias and when i watched this, i cried and immediately showed my sister. i anxiously waited for this to be on spotify, but nothing. i listened to this song everyday and made me forget about my hellish school and hell of a home. this song was keeping me alive. thank you minghao, i am now 15. thank you seventeen as a whole. i love you guys.
The amount of progress as a dancer that hes made makes me want to cry, he went from b-boying to doing synchronized dances with the others and now hes telling stories with his body. He's such an amazing artist and I'm so happy to see him grow as a person and artist.

Honestly Minghao is soo underrated in seventeen and doesn't get enough recognition or praise for how talented he really is. He has never trained to do contemporary dance and his main dance style is hip hop and bboying yet he was able to choreograph such a beautiful dance full of emotion. He choreographed this dance and made this song👋 I know hoshi participates in the making of seventeens choreo's but I'm not sure if minghao does but if he doesn't I really hope he gets the opportunity to because he's a really great choreographer.
Yes, Minghao does participate in the choreography of some of SVT's songs 'cause the performance unit always helps with the group's choreography- although maybe the China Line & Dino help more for the Perf Unit's dances idk; however, Dino did make the choreography for Flower :)

i just remembered of minghao during debut era and i'm so so so so so infinitely proud of him. he has come SO FAR. we can hear, see and feel his improvement and growth. he was a shy boy that wasn't totally fluent in korean yet, had little to no lines in the group, didn't have a much mature voice and stuck to dancing, especially hiphop/b-boying. now he's a respected performer and just released a SOLO SONG that shows his AMAZING VOCALS with an MV that has incredible CONTEMPORARY CHOREOGRAPHY and production. he's just really blossomed, you know? *i'm proud of him.*

the song's lyrics are about facing pain and feeling hopeless, and despairing about why he can't feel better and why he can't escape. the dance is supposed to represent his darker side or possibly some external force trying to control him and tell him how to act or what to feel. when the light focuses on him, he's breaking through, but when it doesn't, he's succumbing to the bad thoughts. the blue light represents the worst times where he's completely at the mercy of the dark shadow, but both times the blue light happens he has a burst-through moment leading to the end, where the bright light and fog and reaching up moments show that he's finally trying to make his way out of the darkness.

I was crying so bad when he make a 'flying bird' gesture as I felt that he try to 'fly away' from this world and it feels like I was stabbed in a heart when he make those gesture. i was 11 years old when this song came out. i was having a hard time with covid, and the start of online school was hell. sure it was silly, but living through it was hell, outside of online school too, was hell at the time. i hated being home, hated my school. when i heard this came out, i was ecstatic. minghao is my bias and when i watched this, i cried and immediately showed my sister. i anxiously waited for this to be on spotify, but nothing. i listened to this song everyday and made me forget about my hellish school and hell of a home. this song was keeping me alive. thank you minghao, i am now 15. thank you seventeen as a whole. i love you guys.
The amount of progress as a dancer that hes made makes me want to cry, he went from b-boying to doing synchronized dances with the others and now hes telling stories with his body. He's such an amazing artist and I'm so happy to see him grow as a person and artist.

Honestly Minghao is soo underrated in seventeen and doesn't get enough recognition or praise for how talented he really is. He has never trained to do contemporary dance and his main dance style is hip hop and bboying yet he was able to choreograph such a beautiful dance full of emotion. He choreographed this dance and made this song👋 I know hoshi participates in the making of seventeens choreo's but I'm not sure if minghao does but if he doesn't I really hope he gets the opportunity to because he's a really great choreographer.
Yes, Minghao does participate in the choreography of some of SVT's songs 'cause the performance unit always helps with the group's choreography- although maybe the China Line & Dino help more for the Perf Unit's dances idk; however, Dino did make the choreography for Flower :)

i just remembered of minghao during debut era and i'm so so so so so infinitely proud of him. he has come SO FAR. we can hear, see and feel his improvement and growth.
he was a shy boy that wasn't totally fluent in korean yet, had little to no lines in the group, didn't have a much mature voice and stuck to dancing, especially hiphop/b-boying. now he's a respected performer and just released a SOLO SONG that shows his AMAZING VOCALS with an MV that has incredible CONTEMPORARY CHOREOGRAPHY and production. he's just really blossomed, you know? *i'm proud of him.*
