Hi, i have the same LG 42LE5400 tv, all the component and hdmi jacks say connecting and then no signal when an active device is attached to it. I have tried different hdmi devices, i.e roku, computer etc, they work in the other tv but dont work in this tv. Is the problem the main board? Thanks
It also has the same problem with I plug something into component jacks. Do you have any suggestions, I'm not sure if this tv is worth fixing? Thanks in advance
It sounds like the main board is causing the problems here. EBR66043801 is the part number for the only main board I could find for this unit. We are currently out of stock, but if you can find a replacement main board it will be cheaper than buying a new TV.
I have the same model and i placed an order on ebay for a mother board and i got the little board on the bottom inside didnt fix the problem.TV comes on with the remote but it wont do anything else but the volume screen is blue any ideas?
You can try a power supply. You can also try another main board and Tcon. These boards can have manufacture defects. After you replace all the boards and no resolve, the problem would be in the backlights or the screen.

It sounds like a problem with the HDMI ports themselves so I would assume the main board as well.
It also has the same problem with I plug something into component jacks.
