When are people going to realize: Disney does NOT have a plan for this franchise. They do not have any idea of their own on the direction of this universe or how the many projects they announce at the drop of a hat or how each of these projects is to play out individually (prior to filming that is)

As someone who dropped Disney+ over a year ago, a Star Wars fan (meaning the George Lucas years), and someone who wouldn't have watched this even if I had Disney+, I enjoy those of you making these videos. You all probably took more time ordering your thoughts than the writers did.
I would even watch this as a 10 year old kid with nothing else on tv in 1990.

@@luckdragongirl I know. Either play with friends , family or dogs. I watched a lot of nonesense in my time. Alf was my sanctuary show when I was in a boring woodwork class on a Tuesday. The teacher was a bit crazy but thinking of Alf endured that torture
It was weird how, by the time Sol and Mae took off, Qimir and Osha were already on a different planet.
If the helmet blocks the force how is he able to use the force while wearing the helmet and his sabers work even though he is wearing wrist gauntlets as well? It's a bad plot device.
He said sensory depravation just like the Jedi training helmets. He's stuck inside the helmet with just the force to use for 90% of his senses. The cortosis doesn't bother me. It only seems to short out sabers when it touches the blade, so his bracer isn't an issue either. If that was supposed to be a cortosis vein in his cave well then we have a problem lol.

You could straight up condense all of the current plot points that actually move the “story” along into a single 15-20 minute episode. Although it still wouldn’t have any real character development

I want a good written show about Qimir without Mae and Osha who are really boring. HIs story is much more interesting....❤ The actors of Qimir and Sol are the only reasons for me to watch the show. Greetings from Germany💕
Sol shites it because he knows the rescue team is the cover-up team. It's now a race between Sol and Verbena. She will win, maintain the secrets, and Sol will be taken down and blamed for going rogue. No Sith stuff ever gets out.
Mae and Osha? Whatever. Exiled, thrown down a well, sold to the Pykes. Don't care.
A helmet that isolates your senses is a terrific weapon going into a battle. Everyone should wear one of those while battling, or piloting, or driving a truck.

@@kurtiswacko reminds me of abstract art fans. They see clear garbage but will fight you if you complain. I literally had to explain to someone why this is bad writings. I rarely nitpick stories since I just want to relax and watch but dammit man. I saw better essays from average high school learners.

Another thing that bugs me is that the green jedi is supposed to have purple hair. In all the art for her, she has purple hair except here for reasons(headlamps wife didn't want to wear a wig ig)
To me it seems like the episodes were supposed to be an hour long but they chopped them in half to elongate the series in terms of weeks. It feels like episode 4 and 5 were the same episode and I’m betting 7 will seem like the back half of 6. It’s really irritating how the pacing works out from week to week. The cliffhanger was a bit of exposition that they withheld until next week which is really irritating because they were hinting at sol explaining something for the whole episode and it’s like “tune in next week for the the exposition we were teasing at in this episode”… yea, okay. Wait a week to get another 30 minutes. Fun 😒

Qimir said the helmet deprives you of your (physical) senses and thereby makes you more in touch with the Force, but in the previous episode he said he was keeping the helmet on to prevent Sol from reading his mind which indicates that it blocks out the Force yet in the same episode Yord said Qimir (with the helmet on) could get inside his mind and stay there which indicates that it doesn't block the Force. The consistency is in this show seems to be very poor.
Let me get this straight, Jedi takes children at a certain age so they don't form attachments.
But these 'Jedi Masters' (this goes for Obi-Wan as well) get all heartbroken and sad when a padawan under them dies or under preforms at battle when they come face to face against them. WTH
In the prequels and the original trilogy, this was intentional to show that the Jedi had gotten to a point of contradicting themselves by becoming too dogmatic and rigid. Many of them felt attachment (like Obi-Wan with Anakin and Qui-Gon, and Yoda feeling the pain of the Jedi being Order 66'd) but tended to believe that it was a personal failing rather than recognizing that it could be a strength if examined properly (case in point Luke, refusing to give up on his father).
Happens when the wrong People are in command. Star Wars has a huge fan base wich has been loyal for over 40 years. Disney is now driving away the fans.
Trailers show a ship exploding on Brendok which will cause the temple to start blowing up and also shows Sol ship and Shrek ship crashing through an asteroid field.

They are on the planet that Luke was on in the last Jedi and because he is a sith the planet will be taken out of the archive of the Jedi and that's how they will tie it to the last Jedi
They aren't actually. Because of the Cortisis material and everyone theorizing that the Master is Plagueis. The planet is Bal'demnic
This doesn’t make the Last Jedi better: suddenly learning how said events came to be and retroactively fleshing out the lore is not gonna change the horrible outcome
It just makes Luke’s existence basically meaningless: he was nothing more than a placeholder for Rey.
I’m so sick of people cumming in their pants about how this “sticks it” to nepotism: Star Wars never had this problem and even if it did it’s not worth undoing Luke’s arc or Luke as a character in general, which is exactly what the sequel trilogy does

Stenberg is really miscast In this one. The twins are exactly the same and her acting range is 1-dimensional. If she was cast , imagine how bad the others were that didn’t make the cut.
There were no others, Lego Headlady wrote the part with her in mind.
@@sparkycjs oh dear Lord. I have seen better acting from my primary school peers when they rehearsed a play they had to create to death. I was more like Klaus Kinski and would simply just get an idea and run with it on the fly.

The jedi hear that the whole team of 8 or so jedi has been killed so they threat must be immense. So they send a 'rescue team' of 4 jedi one of who is the most awkward guy possible. They must have read the script
Title card : Unknown Planet. Really, show? That's what you're going with? Is it secret? If so, why? Secret from whom? Us? Jedi? Uhhh.
Mystery box, wander around the point, misleading dialogue, wander around the point, half reveal and half misdirect, wander around the point, omg please lord let something happen, yawn, damn I'm tired, almost resolution with Mae and almost breakthrough with Osha and almost relevance of Sol's past ... credits.

What is the deal with Disney Star Wars wanting shirtless men? I remember "The Last Jedi," they did that with Kylo Ren (or maybe it was "The Force Awakens"...I haven't seen either in many years). Now another shirtless dude? I guess they're really aiming for that "force is female" stuff. As a female, I rarely watch anything that has a shirtless man in it. I'm straight, but the stuff I enjoy lacks that. I like classic films, fantasy, period romance (not modern period romance where they add in LGBT stuff and make do the DEI stuff; I like good period romance like Jane Austen, Bronte sisters, even simpler romance like some of the Dickens novels where the romance isn't the primary part), etc. I was never watching "Star Wars" and wishing for a shirtless scene. And I've been a Star Wars fan since before Disney bought it.
The best character in this show is the "sith" second is Sol. I dont care abiut osha and Mae. They are just nit interresting at all.
Boring and lame is what this show is.
Just remove the Star Wars branding and this is bottom tier SyFy original series programming. Writing, acting, absolutely atrocious pacing… it’s all bad.
It’s just stupid JJ Abrams mystery box storytelling. Every episode feels like they are trying to setup some big reveal for the next one. Except the reveals are not that interesting and there are just a ton of characters nobody cares about.
This is a Masterclass in how NOT to tell a story.

I watched episode 1 and 2 to see for myself, then 5 to see the battle, the rest isn't worth my time - even for free. Much easier to watch you break down the nonsense!

Yes even I would walk out. I was bored out of my skull with this one. It was even worse than episode 2 in terms of boredom. I had to drink coffee to keep awake and this was in the morning.

Leslie wants to make her edgelord wet dream but she doesn’t have a story beyond her anti Lucas pitch. It should be no surprise that this show is basically filler as pretty much every Disney project was: the sequel trilogy the whole way through has no plot or structure other than what they ripped from the OT, the Kenobi show is almost nothing but chase sequences and Reva’s backstory being made up on the spot, the Boba Show just abandons Boba Fett altogether in favor of a more profitable character and THAT profitable character never had much depth to begin with.
The Mandalorian never had a story: it was nothing more than a platform to tease more projects. It depended heavily on having a blank slate but because the sequels already happened it doesn’t have that either

Ive never seen this show and live primarily off of the YT commentary, but is this "unknown planet" not Ahch-To? The environment looks the same and those little small creatures look like the ones Luke had (embarrassingly) milked.

Certain things I wait to comment on. people are connecting the saber whip to the injuries on his back. I’ll wait and see, because if they are connected that is mega dumb and will be fun to laugh at.

Actually this episode was suspenseful and moved the story along well. You just have to have an attention span greater than an 8 year old to get it

how did it move it along? Sol subdued Mae even though she wanted to turn herself in and Qimir talked about the dark side of the force which is already established throughout the franchise. The only answer we got was the helmet made out of Cortosis.
