I would like to seee a functional vest that does not look like a motorcycle enthusiast, a run of the mill vest that does not require a velcro/ additional holster. I have not seen any that would suit me. I would love one if it worked for me.
Most biker style vests have similar pockets that have been called 'pistol pockets' on most sites. I have the cheap Milwaukee brand vests cut in a similar style number 4 here. The leather one is nicely lined but the pockets are no frills and held closed by two snaps. I can carry a full sized 1911 or Taurus 605 and the imprint doesn't stand out. The denim version is equally as nice and quite a bit lighter. The pockets have two velcro slots that work well for magazines. Again I can carry a full sized pistol without feeling like it's obvious. Snap enclosures aren't the most tactical or 'ready' thing. It's just how I dress though. I wear a vest of some sort most days of the year so if I'm not waist carrying, I can just throw a LCR into the pistol pocket and head out the door.
I do not want a fishing vest with a bunch of pockets I want a nice clean cut vest with no collar no pocekets on the front except maybe two small ones somone needs to learn how to make a decent vest.
A concealed carry vest is about as worthless a concealed carry Fanny bag it's not really concealed people know what you have in a fanny bag or in a concealed carry vest if anything looks like law enforcement people will recognize it and they will draw on you first just like those gun bags you stop across your shoulder everybody know people carrying guns in their it's about as worthless as open carry 0243 guys need to do is rush you and take your gun away from you

Forget the pistol, most folks will assume you are armed anyway in vest like that. You reach into your vest pocket and everybody watches you! lol!
