Its a nice product, but Axcel runs the show in terms of bow sights. They are the top choice for a reason. Plenty of other excellent sights out there too, but with axcel you can never go wrong.
Ive been a HHA customer for almost 10 years now and you guys have just raised the bar to a level never seen before. I could only compare this product launch to when the new iPhone was released. Super excited for you guys and what the future brings. Outstanding job and product launch. The only thing I hope is that a single pin housing is soon to come. Mine is Ordered!!!
A lot of rifle scopes don’t cost 600 bucks. Sorry but if I spend 600 for a sight then presentation means everything. Packaging can help sell when you see it on shelves plus it saves the company money by not having to replace it if it got broken during shipping.
Hi Chris, I’m a fellow bow hunter from Wisconsin, I have a uv3 xl double pin, it would be great if ultraview would switch the bottom pin to yellow or at least make it an option, the red is just way to hard to see. I really like the new sight and would probably buy it but I’m not a fan of the 3 side pin configuration hopefully in the future UV would make it possible to run a vertical 2 pin, and obviously the bottom pin being yellow, I hope you get this keep up the good work, love the content 👍🏻
Honestly this thing is so well designed. I’ve had the spott hogg, and the black gold. Been thinking about getting an axcel or hha and adding the UVXL, but felt like I would be settling because the features I wanted just weren’t there. This sight will for sure be the one I get though. How is it that a newer company came out with the most innovative sight yet? Job well done.
Because the owner has shot competition since he was a kid went to GA Tech and made the first one in his dorm. Brought on his boy Chris here to help with marketing and social and away you go lol
Want a cheaper sight for the “common man”? There are literally dozens of sight manufacturers that make a sight for you. I desperately want a GMC Denali 2500 but can’t afford one. That doesn’t make it overpriced. The whining in these threads is obnoxious.
Well said!…I’d like to buy one of these sights but it’s not in my budget at the moment, but I might start putting spare money aside and I can buy it for next season 🤷🏻♂️. With the features this has I don’t know if there is a cheaper price it could be
I dont know kip. I cant completely disagree, but if GMC Denalis cost the same as a bow site, one of the companies need to reevaluate their marketing tactics.
Ok but what if I want to buy a sight from a brand a like such as uv but it’s 500$ that’s just crazy even black golds 3 pin slide is less then 300$ it’s just crazy how you support a brands item that’s overpriced
people forget the saying "you gotta pay to play". if you can't afford a certain hobby or complaing and not do anything to afford it, then find another hobby
It’s a great looking site. It costs more than my entire bow and is out of my price range right now, but one day… my only question is why are there not any windage markers on the horizontal axis? For a $600 site it doesn’t make sense to not have indentations for windage.
Everyone complaining about the price needs to understand that the cost to make things has increased significantly the price is average with everyone else. I personally run a Hha tetra max Ryz and there’s not much price difference. Ultraview sight has features that completely sets it apart from other manufacturers in their own way. Great job Chris and great job ultra view
An 80,000 dollar corvette isn’t over priced if you can’t afford it or don’t need/want to go 100 mph. Same thing with this sight. It’s not for the weekend warriors or just average bow hunters. This sight is designed for the guys who live for bow hunting and want the best and most trusting equipment money can buy. This is for adventure hunters and guys who are regularly taking shots 70+ yards. Yes it is even higher priced than some of the other top of the line sights but good stuff ain’t cheap. I wouldn’t wanna be in the back country with a Walmart trophy ridge sight😂
This sight is for the target archer that likes to take pictures bow hunting for the gram or the guy with the Gucci bow that doesn’t practice much. You want a reliable backcountry sight you’re going to get a Spot Hogg for half the money
@@bigz5262 well I current have a spott hogg do that’s about the only thing I agree with this post. If your alluding to chris being a “fake” hunter then that’s idiotic. I would with him being a pretty decorated competition shooter and successful hunter that he practice a ton and wants the best equipment possible!
That's funny. The last two elk that my buddies have taken away trophy ridges. But on a serious note, I would love to see more people get into archery but things like this don't help. We are making our sport for the elite and not for the everyday person. And that's not how you get more people to get involved in our sport. But it does look cool.
@@jcros1179 I wasn’t trying to bash trophy ridge because they make killer products. I was just saying let’s not compete the plastic Walmart sight to this one just like you wouldn’t compare it to the top trophy ridge sights. Again there is levels to the archery game. This sight would not be a smart investment for new archers or people who get very minimal days to hunt. But for the guys who live to hunt this could be a smart investment. It’s just personal preference and what is best for you.
@@Rj_engel I never said anything about Chris. He’s a phenomenal target archer that signed with Mathews and that got him a lot of hunting opportunities that most hunters would only ever dream of. He’s still made the shots, some pretty epic ones too. He’s not a backcountry hunter though. The bow shop I go to gets most of their complaints on Ultraview scopes. They’re awesome, but not very durable. Their HHA adapter doesn’t stay tight. The light doesn’t stay on long enough and it’s too shaded to shoot without it. My brother and brother in law have both had one and they weren’t impressed. They’re target scopes. The button release is pretty sick though
It’s a very nice sight to say the least. And honestly I would probably love to have one. But that 79.99 CBE I bought this past week is more than enough for me. Not to mention I’m also a first year archer lol.
For most people its better to buy a $100 or so sight and use the extra on better arrows/practice more. Dont need fancy equipment to be efficient. $600 for a sight wont make you a better shooter
It's overkill for sure. Most of us shouldn't be shooting past 30 or 40 yards. A $100 3 or 5 pin sight is plenty to get the job done. It's a free country and people can make/buy what they want, but it makes me laugh every time an engineer tries to reinvent the wheel.
trophy ridge react. 100. easy sight and gets the job done. but to the comment above, definitely marketed towards folks like to have the fanciest of the fancy. if you got the money and its not breaking your budget. why not lol

I had an epic experience at the bow shop. I tested a carter release and punched myself in the face 2 times. Brand new out of the package and failed. New out of the box UV slider didnt travel on the windage. The best and both were broke out of the box. They sold thousands and I was the first. Shop was excellent, and im all set now.
I wished it would have may it too market earlier in the season. Looking at the upgrades over other sliders and sights it's long over due. Glad to see a bunch of fresh young minds coming to improve the archery world. Look forward to what ultraview decided to work on next. Price is spot on!!!!!!!!
Please give Ultraview feedback that the sight pins need to be brighter without the light (many states don’t allow the light). Please get them to change this and the bow sight is perfect!!
Everyone complaining about the cost. Apparently they haven’t priced a comparable high end sight, then a good light kit like ZBros or ETac on top of that. For instance Axcel Landslyde Carbon Pro 3 pin $500. Add a ZBros Evolution light kit, you’re up to $700. That’s my hunting sight setup. I didn’t pay that for it, but many people do. Or you can get a much nicer, much more compact and clean setup for $100 bucks less. This appears to be the most streamlined, feature packed hunting sight setup ever made. I don’t think y’all left anything out building the UV slider. Good work gents! Good work @Chris Bee

Chris, I mounted this scope to my carbon one and I love both...but, I cannot see maybe 20% of the scope ring due to riser interference. No sight.. let them learn trajectory. I guess it depends on your definition of 'kids'.. like 10 years old? Sights are for wimps, ask the trad guys lol
@chrisbeereal how did you cut down your iv slider sight to fit flush
Without a sight tape arrow for the 4th pin, how do you range that bottom pin?
Hey chris! Is there any chance you guys at UV will be offering this sight for us bowtech guys with their new sight system? On there new Core Bows?
Does the slider only come with the 3 side pins? Is it not offered with the single pin?
Is it true you can replace the insert to a vertical two pin? In the process of trying to get one through my local dealer.
Y'all need to figure out how to add a lens over the sight tapes for those of us that are sight challenged within an arms length....aging myself here I suppose...lol. And add a light to the tapes too so we can see them in low light conditions.
If anyone think these are expensive…don’t get into shooting rifles lol
Looks sick, hopefully be able to get one when I finally upgrade my bow and system.
Did I miss it? You didn't explain the other white ring and it's use. Or do you get 2 sight rings?
Will this sight work for the hoyt crx 32 with the bracket mount ?
I’m not buying one because there’s no chance I’m swapping sights mid season but you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll have one come January.
Can you set the right sight tape to the 4rth pin?
That's my plan I don't see why you couldn't and just print a longer range sight tape
Yes
Look perfect... but we need a single post double or triple. I wouldn't want horizontal pins
