God Bless You Melanie Swan!!! You are doing God's Work!!! If you are suffering from CRPS, Start Desensitization Right Away!

I completely agree with Melanie Swan regarding desensitization regarding CRPS. I have CRPS in both arms and have continuously after the first year and a half been determined to find ways to help desensitize myself to light touches. Finding techniques that work for you is key to helping reduce the pain response to touch or stimuli. I have significantly reduced sensitivity to most stimuli; however, I'm working through light touch challenges such as someone barely tapping to get one's attention.

What if your already at a pain level of 8-9 and to touch the area bring you to tears?

I have a RSDS Südeck caused by a catheter in
the wrist 2016. I dont recover.I stay the whole day in bed but 5-10
minutes walking. I still dont know any other case like me, and I hope I am not

I understand where your coming from trust me!! I’ve had crps for so many years and for years I would avoid anything touching it etc. the doctor one visit told me I would end up in a wheelchair in a year or less if I didn’t start using my legs. So I started walking. I walked through the pain and some days I cried. But with the help of the ketamine infusions etc I was able to walk and walk and keep myself out of a wheelchair by starting to build muscle back up. Sometimes we have to work through pain, as crps warriors before the pain and the symptoms can begin to get better. If you want to talk please reach out. I’m currently doing ketamine infusions and ivig infusions and I’m finally starting to get relief. I hope your daughter is also.

All CRPS/RSD patients are at pain level 6-10,
You are just torturing them. Totally foolish. You don’t have a clue.

Desensitization can definitely work but it is painful and must be performed many times a day with a flare-up plan in place. I'm sorry that you're in such pain.

@@RSDSA I have or had rsd from fasciotomy on my leg. I had this constant burning sensation in my foot or when putting socks on it would feel like it's on fire. I still have a foot drop but no more burning sensation. I would like to know more on why it seems to have just went away. Is that normal?
