For construction students, I do recommend smaller companies and not the big main ones. I think those ones are the ones that you will most likely get into. Bigger companies are too competitive and they won’t look at international students as much as the local students.

You just have to apply for companies. I've mentioned in the video that occasionally unit coordinators for Construction Management send out emails about companies with open positions. It's all up to you to apply for it though.

for a recently graduate student, yes, since the job requires alot of management skill and experience, so you normally start out as a cadet or other positions to get some experience first. But in my opinion it's a very decent job with alot of opportunities.
