So cool to see all you've been up to Elaine! I love your videos!!
Thanks friend ❤️
@@wobwobliu hey, is there any other way to teach english in china but with no degrees? i'm a native English speaker in canada, just didn't finish my engineering degree and went to work instead. OR if you know if there are lots of other jobs available for English speaking foreigners maybe? any tips or help is appreciated, thx.
You are delightful!! Thanks for the content!!! ❤
Very cool video, looking forward to more!

Great video and you are becoming prettier and prettier! Love you.
Just subscribed, greetings from Greece!
Wow 🤩 welcome and thank you!!
I'm getting my papers together! I hope to be in China soon. How much work/preparation outside of class is required?
Hope you can arrive soon! Workload really depends on your school and your schedule. For our school, we teach up to 16 hours a week (16 classes a week) and have a few meetings outside of class times. It depends on how many different classes you're teaching since that is primarily what you're going to be working on preparing outside of class. Hope this helps :)
@@wobwobliu16 classes per week is a nice workload!
Warm greetings from nepal♥️♥️
I'm considering moving to China, from this vlog it seems like you don't get a lot of personal time? what are the working hours actually like?
Hi! Great question... it depends on your school and class schedule! It also is dependent on how you manage your time :) For me, I try to set a strict schedule of when to focus on school work and when to have my own time. I also try to prioritize having my weekends free so that I can spend it restfully, which may look like focusing more heavily on work during the week!
Hey! I'm a British Chinese here in China and I’d love to connect with you, you know “legally, socially and emotionally!” (mostly socially and emotionally though) ❤️
Haha sweet! Where are you in China?
I’m in Guangxi, Nanning! What’s your insta?
@@jessica_wu same as my UA-cam! @wobwobliu
老師好!
i am from india .. i know english but not chinese .. wuth only a general bachelors 🤨
is it enough 2 teach eng in china
It depends on your school and what they require, which also includes the age level of your students! Some school settings may only ask for a bachelors degree and English proficiency, while other schools may require more degrees to offer a job.
A great video.. Can I ask you some questions? My plan is to come to China in Sept :D
How exciting 😄 Go for it!
@@wobwobliu do you have an email?😇 It would be far more easier 😁
@@MilosTodorovic88 yes, you can find my email in my channel description 😄
I wish I could teach AP Psychology :( Like your colleague from Ukraine.
What's holding you back?
Our students love his course!
Is your school hiring? I’m looking to teach abroad in China again!
How exciting! I'm actually not sure. Last I heard they were looking for an art teacher? But that was last semester!
@@wobwobliu May I ask, how did you find your position? When I taught in Tianjin before I found the listing through Dave's ESL cafe. Didn't know if you had any better suggestions! Thanks for the reply so much.
@@thehedgephotography I actually had a friend recommend a company that sends English teachers. From there, I got connected with some of the foreign teachers who taught at my school and found out that we were from the same area so I was able to learn more about this school specifically!
@@wobwobliu gotcha, okay thanks for the info. I enjoy your videos!
Hi there from South Africa, I love your life! If I may ask, can't you have dual citizenship?
Hello hello!! China doesn't offer dual citizenship unfortunately 😕 I wish!
@@wobwobliu oh nooo....😕
Did you know Molly before you came to China? Also the issue if you are a US citizen or not is so weird. You have a US passport, you were born there that should be proof enough. I hope its sorted out now.
Yes I did know her! We taught online for a year beforehand so we were already working together :) As for the passport situation, that is still being sorted haha. Almost there though!
Are going to give up your us citizenship
The plan is to keep my US citizenship. Still figuring out why they believe I have Chinese citizenship since this shouldn't be the case!
