  • An impromptu weekend adventure to Dujiangyan's famous mountain, 青城山! It was completely worth all the admission complications and flights of stairs (so many steps omg)... can't wait to keep exploring this INCREDIBLE city!

Mount Qingcheng is one of the sacred mountains of Taoism. In addition to its natural landscapes, there are many cultural attractions. At 1:47,that's where you can see typical Taoist costume. Legend has it that the famous Chinese snake fairy, Bai Suzhen, is said to have been born on this mountain.

Recently found your channel. As a fellow expat I respect the patience you 3 have while dealing with the health code nonsense. The lack of transparency for foreigners/passport holders always gets to me.. respect to you guys.

China places a higher priority on saving lives than on preserving economic growth or not inconveniencing people. This is China’s moral stance.
Nobody expects you to agree with it.

It's definitely not an easy process, especially as foreigners who have had different methods for these kinds of things in our home countries! Just part of the experience of being a foreigner with all the cultural and legal differences :)

@@mohammedkumar3733 i have no problem with showing a code, but the guards/volunteers often haven’t got a clue on how to deal with a foreigner/passport holder is what annoys me. Often rules aren’t enforced the same way for us as they would with a local.
