I remember watching this video in 2016 when I first learned CAD in college. I am now a mechanical engineer, certified solidworks professional etc and I still use solidworks everyday. It all started here!
I just finished my Essential training and found this to be a a very good tutorial. Thank you so much for the step by step instructions and the pace. Great job
Hey Jon, I followed your video and this refreshed alot of my skills in a matter of 24 hours. I sincerely thank you for your video uploads.! Thanks Ishan
Thank you for your great help for us to learn solidworks step by step and part by part. Anybody who learned using this app once and forget to reassess this app, this video will help him a lot
Thank you for this tutorial. It is honestly one of the best tutorials I've seen for CAD. And I've watched a lot of Fusion 360 tutorials, and plenty of Solidworks tutorials too. None come close!
Awesome tutorial, I had one semester solidworks at engineering college 7 years ago. If they had only showed me this tutorial there. I would have learned it sooo fast. Imagine 20 students and one teacher doing this step for step on a projector screen, and no instant replay. Thank you very much, this video brings all I learn right back.
Thank you so much for this video! I am just starting SolidWorks, and your step-by-step instructions were so clear and easy to follow. YOU ARE AWESOME, I was looking for a design to 3D print in my engineering class, and this video tutorial was PERFECT!!!! I appreciate you and this video so much!!!
Thank you Jon, I built the entire Toy Car and learned so much. I know my boss has a lot of SolidWorks jobs for me coming up and these skills I have learned in this video will be very helpful. Thank a lot
No way this is 5 years old! Thanks so much for this video, it's succinct, super easy to follow, and demonstrates how to do everything in a way that scaffolds. Thanks again.
You deserve to have a lot of views and likes. Although it was 1 more hour long, it was worth watching your tutorial video. It helped me so much for a novice like me who just started Solidworks. A million thanks Jon! Im gonna be one of your subscribers now. Looking forward for more videos.
I was searching for a nice and easy tutotial, this one did it all! Haven't used Solidworks for about 2 years, but after my holidays I'm going start with a project were I have to draw alot so this was very useful to help me refreshing my mind of all the features. Also hoping to see more in the future, thanks alot ;)
Solidworks gave me quite a challenges and struggles even on its basic levels. I was always conflicting with my previous many-years experience as 3D artist with 3dsMax. That video kind of clarified for me so much basic stuff which i otherwise impulsively misinterpreted in Solidworks due to my previous skills, expectations of how 3d viewports, move/transform and snapping tools "should work" :l In university, in one robotics course we are asked to learn Solidworks. I need to convert my previous entertainment-oriented 3D skills and transfer them to Solidworks. It is not that easy as it sounds. Thanks, man. It was good that video was one hour long with little to no rush at all. That helps.
