While creating a 3D sketch, you can toggle through the axis with the tab key, locking the line in that direction, so you can actually build an orthographic sketch in isometric view.
Working with weldments in Solidworks lately. One thing I have to note that for symmetrical bodies - its sometimes best to model one side and mirror it as one of the last features. Can't count how many times not doing so caused many problem with cut list and other stuff. This may not be for everyone, but I often forget something while doing microadjustments and one side is left broken
Priceless! For everyone reading this, I want you to know that this is a very valuable information! It comes from experience! How long have you been working with weldments?
keep up the motivation. it is supper fun to learn on projects that you visualise. i can have sleepless nights sometimes thinking about a project to draw.
amazing video thanks for teaching us. please share the videos of your project. that would be great to see how you did it and came up with this fun project. Your Solidworks course is the best
Do you know the TAB function to change the plane orientation made with the 2 red axis inside the 3D sketching? I am pretty sure that i didn’t see the use of it during the video and it is a much have i think. Thank you for all the content you are sharing Tohrak
Start a 3d sketching and press several times on the TAB key (not function sorry) to change the orientation of the design plan your drawing on. For example, at 5min of your video, you can use the TAB key to change the plan when you want to draw a line in the depth.
May I know your Solidworks version and packages list and also your computer specs??? Does this work on a laptop with i5 8th gen processor, 8gb ram and 2 gb Nvidia M series GPU???
Primary question. You probably know that the chassis will be symmetrical so why do you draw all that stuff twice when you can just draw one side and then mirror the weldment or mirror inside the 3D sketch after you’re done? Do you foresee that you might need asymetrical elements at some point?
good questins. Because given I designed this from scratch myself, I had to have the "final" output in front of my eyes the whole time to asses whether or not the proportions are right. But technically speaking you are correct
Please answer aryan, When i put all the parts together in assembly mode how can i make the parts not overlapping ( i mean when they touch each other i want them to stop )

Am sorry, but you lost me in the first part where you explained how to use 3d sketches perpendicular to the planes. Ever tried drawing from isometric view and use the tab key to switch between the three main planes to work in while sketching? You can change the orientation of the line you are drawing with.
I would really like to sign up. however I signed up for another course a couple years ago. Their training files had issues. I sent an email and never heard back. I again sent an email and received a message back saying that his partner had dropped the ball. Still not offering me any help with my issue. It put a bad taste in my mouth! The first thing I see is you have no phone number, I am 59 years old and sometimes I want to hear rather than someone trying to verbalize in writing. I will say I like your training and how you present your classes. I will not give you $1900.00 until I feel comfortable. Thank you
Hi Mark, I'm sorry you've been treated that way by the other course. My whole goal is to treat every individual student in my course like a VIP and you all get a direct 1:1 call link to me from inside the course. I'm also willing to go one a phone call with you if you email me at info@solidworkstutorials.net I can share the number there
@@with-Aryan Thank you for your response! What you said is exactly what I was hoping to hear from you! I love CAD, I want to know it inside and out. I have used Solidworks since 2008. Only to be frustrated on how a person has to learn it. So, I use what I can in the program bouncing between frustrated and excited. I also use Autocad which I love! I will more than likely do your program. Financially it does not fit at the moment. Thank you again!

this tab is very helpfull when you are doing a 3D sketch. nice info
wow thats awesome man

@@with-Aryan Like almost everyday for the past year. Still learning alot :D
Love the way you just helped me understand 3D sketch much easily
I am a mechanical engineer student and I am learning alot from you.
thank you for this content
Thanks for watching!
mechanical engineering is an amazing industry🤟😎
THANK YOU. I have been looking for tips like this. Really I am following your channel to improve in Solidworks. Keep the good work.

Again a really interesting video. I've tried a little 3d sketching myself but if I see how fast you are I've got a lot te learn.
You can do it! It opens a lot of doors for you and you can design much more complex geometries with it
Love the video, please make more🚀
Thank you! Will do!
amazing video thanks for teaching us. please share the videos of your project. that would be great to see how you did it and came up with this fun project. Your Solidworks course is the best
Thank you! Will do! The next video will be about the suspension system!
This is the content that we all need! Now see your channel sky rocket, Aryan. :)
That's the plan! Thanks for watching
I love videos You make. So much intresting and practical information in each video. I'm glad that i found You.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching
Amazing this lecture sir
thank you so much, that helps alot
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the great explanation. Some great tips
you are a genius, you deserve more subscribers and views !!!
Thank you for your support.
Great stuff! I have your Solidworks Pro course. What mouse do you use and what would you recommend for a beginner?
Part 2 Sir, please
soon. Next video, the suspension
@@with-AryanYes sir waiting

No! What TAB function?! let me know please

@@with-Aryan Just click the TAB while drawing lines in 3d sketch mode while in an isometric view. You'll see
Kindly make videos on SOLIDWORKS simulation as well like static simulations or cfd simulations etc
shall we do something with the chassis of this buggy? ;)
@@with-Aryan yes you can do structural or vibrational analysis on chassis
What is your computer hardware doing all tbis stuff

Hey Aryans, how about a more complex design, like a real shopping cart? I'm sure you would find a way to style it better in less time than me!
👍🏽 good idea
AWSEEOOOOME
Thanx
Welcome
So weldon sir
😂😂😂
nice
Thanks. What about it did you like?
Is there no way to mirror in 3D sketch since it is symmetrical?
Please answer aryan,
When i put all the parts together in assembly mode how can i make the parts not overlapping ( i mean when they touch each other i want them to stop )
Collision decectiom!
Find move body on the tool bar above,
Open it
Check stop body at collision
By using 4 view draw the solid work was crash what I do please tell me sir

3d sketch is very tricky in the beginning 😂
Yes, it take some getting used to, especially the part where you have to change the current sketch plane using the TAB key.
👍👍👍
The proportions of your case study chassis are not good. Why not make the video series regarding the frame presented at 21:20?
Your comment is coming up in my video after the next one! (Buggy Ep03) Where I recreate the chassis ;)

yes you can do that indeed. It's not the easiest way to draw the lines in vertical or horizontal directions. But it certainly is a cool shortcut
