A couple topics if anyone can share their opinions, I understands this is not medical advice for my particular situation, I'm just asking for curiosity sake. 1). Are there any rules that say a loved one cannot care for their family member at home with severe dementia? I feel so guilty that my mom is in a care facility and she hates it, she is always trying to escape, yelling at airplanes to toss her ropes or send help. However, its scary because she wants to get hammers and set the people in the TV free. I dont know that she wouldnt try to stab us while we were sleeping because she thinks we are a monster. Is there a time that its just not possible to care for your someone at home? Next, does anyone feel that the nose spray to reverse dementia is promising? I read there are two types of medication in trials one is insulin the other I can't remember the name. Thanks Jenny
