This video hit me hard. It’s such a fact that women like Marjorie and Lori absolutely bring out the insecurities in other women. Currently recovering from a damaged self esteem myself and I can admit to feeling inferior in front of women like her and Lori and it’s definitely a personal issue. But coincidentally I was always surrounded around beautiful and funny down to earth women that poured into me the best way they knew how.
Bottom line- Lori and Marjorie has never done a thing to me or anyone else so the hate they both get isn’t warranted and just shines a light on the people talking about them. I used to see Marjorie on his show and she was always beautiful but she was also well spoken and came off very sincere. Like the type to help you fix your makeup. At the end of the day don’t we all want to be loved and cherished out loud regardless of our past?

I really LOVED how Steve came to his wife’s defense. For real. These folks have been trying to tear Majorie & Lori down for a minute now. Why are people so upset HE chose HER! And yes, women young and older are so jealous of Lori. That woman is just being her and is unproblematic. This is a perfect example of instead of hating we should pay attention and act accordingly.

He did what any man who loves his woman would do which is PROTECT her. I think people think because of her past she doesn’t deserve the hypergamous lifestyle. None the less she puts herself first and that’s what’s got her here. I love her and Lori and the one thing I’ve learned is to get rid of women friends who don’t want to do the work. They become very jealous.

I struggle with confidence as I’ve been betrayed many times by my husband. I’ve become an anxious person and feel worthless because of his actions. And I am not in a position right now to leave.
You will probably tell me to go to therapy which I’ve gone to for a couple years and it hasn’t done too much. It did however help with my own personal growth.
Man I applaud women who are living the soft life. Hell why hate! I’m in constant survival mode and it’s exhausting.
I never married ( not by choice) and had to work. I'm now retired but trust me, the work place is not for women long term. I don't care what the nature of the work is.

Women should look up to ladies like Marjorie and Lori instead of judging them. Marjorie is a hypergamous woman, and she taught her daughter how to be one. yes, attack mode by other women is real. I chose to be a stay at home mom years ago, right before the pandemic. That perplexed a lot of my family members. I lost my dad a year ago to cancer and my stepmom is kinda all I have left. She recently laced into me about being a stay at home mom/wife, saying I haven’t done anything with my life and never stuck with anything. By contrast she enjoyed well over 35 yrs… as a postal service clerk. I guess I’m supposed to want that life. 🙄 I know she enjoyed that rant. It felt bad, but I realize she’s mourning my dad and jealous of my situation overall. It was obvious that she was jealous a long time before my dad passed. My dad was never able to provide that life for her, and other family drama lead up to that moment. I took the whole rant on the chin. I didn’t fight back, let her have her say. Although the attacks feel bad in the moment, I do enjoy a life of privilege that most women black like me will never be able to have. The fact that my husband is white just adds to the tension. Tbh, you eventually get used to being either revered or loathed for being “well watered”.

I decided to be a stay at home gf right before the pandemic to take care of some things. My now husband proposed to me during the pandemic and I've been a stay at home wife ever since. I remember telling a close friend of mine the lifestyle change and allllll of the shade came out, talking about how I'm just unemployed and don't have a job. Another comment was about needing his "permission" to leave the house, something outrageous. Anyway, she was still living at home in her late 30s essentially being a slave to her family and working herself to the bone just to get out of the house. There were other issues, but I cut her off with no regrets. People show their true colors when you're living better than them. Oprah was right when she said you can't be friends with someone who wants your life.
I get comments like that from my SIL, I ignore her and learned to love her from a distance.

Oh my. At the risk of sound like I'm old fashioned, I admire stay at home moms. Actually, I grew up in the 1960s when most women did not work outside the home. Things hit the fan in the 1970s after women wanted out of the home and into the work place. Guess what happened to the economy? Prices shot up. I was a child but remember hearing people talk about how home prices practically tripled due to having double income buyers...no other reasons. The market could demand more money and people willingly paid. Don't get me started on what women working did to the family structure.

She was correct to move on. What is the value in visiting the penitentiary once a month? She had children to take care of. Past bloopers don’t have to define your present and future.
Marjorie doesn't owe anyone details of her past, people need to hang it up. I know of a former colleague who came from a very poor , rough, and dysfunctional past. She made some strategic and controversial decisions to change her trajectory, but you would never know it if you met her. She went on to tell a story about how her mother would pick her up from basketball practice when I knew the truth was far more darker than that. The point is her story is her story and she doesn't owe anyone the "truth" of her past when it 1) doesn't matter or make a difference to how she shows up in her life now and, 2) is best left in the past.
People who bring up the past to use against you are simply envious they haven't been able to move beyond their dark history.
I was called a prostitute by the church ladies. Many of them where in a clergy harem. I was with my man for ten years. I travelled the world. The church girls and ladies can be the worse. When I was a teenager, I remember being heavily disliked by the pastor’s wife at my first church because of my singing voice and that her daughter couldn’t measure up to my voice even when she turned up her microphone. When we left and went to our 2nd church the girls there were so judgmental that they would judge not only how I would dress, but also being with someone that didn’t go to church that often and they will tell me that “he isn’t the one for you because he doesn’t believe in God or is heavily involved in the church “ one of the girls will even showed me bible verses that I was going to burn in hell for having premarital sex, even though she was the church mattress. Fast forward to years later, that boyfriend became my husband and we have 1 child together we been together strong for 13 years, while those girls in that past church are still single, divorce or in unhappy marriages. It saddens me that even in the church women can be so vicious, point the finger and hide behind God.

There are tens of thousands of women who were married to “street” dudes!!! Majorie Harvey came out a winner and not abandoned loser! The envy and jealousy is potent towards she and her daughter! So many trap queens didn’t come out so fortunate. Steve Harvey said he was nearly broke when they hooked up! She helped him rebuild his career. Nobody talks about that part.

One thing that I’m learning during my hypergamous journey is that once you give yourself grace you must give yourself space.

I admire Marjorie Harvey and Lori Harvey because I like how they move. I love high low key Lori is, she gather these expensive gifts from these men and silently move on. Two beautiful women who are unapologetically beautiful while receiving provisions and protection in the process.

I recently came upon a clickbaited shorts video on a black youtube channel, covering rumours of her cheating. And Lord! The amount of women that had hate for her, they turned against her so quick. I defended her and was insulted, people are disgusting. These older women are embarrassing.
I remembered seeing online Marjorie wearing a short blazer dress and people were insulting the hell out of sis...... i was like why???? She looked good and fit..... if it were an overweight person or old wrinkled person..... people wud find it so easy to like and support them...... jealousy is really ugly

Inferiority complex bred low self esteem which then cause verbal,emotional and/or physical abuse of other people who look like them(e.g. black).
It’s stems from a competitive dating market. The bm who are financially stable are far in between the few and many are hypergamous themselves and date out. So I see alot of bw taking these relationships very personal because they feel as tho their looks are better, their butt is bigger, their bag is bigger, etc. they should have the same treatment, but never had a man defend them how Steve did for HIS wife. Never put in the work and effort needed for the RIGHT regardless of skin tone to see their potential. Sad to say in the black community, this type of relationship is an anomaly and breeds a large amount of jealousy. The amount of vigor that is being used to destroy Mrs. Harvey is so sad. I am cared for not on Mrs. Harvey's level, but def have felt the darts and heard the comments. I can't image the pain having this done on such a large scale and from her own community.

My husband drives me everywhere. I am the ultimate passenger princess. If I'm having a girls night out going to an event if my husband is available he's dropping me off and picking me up, my very own car service for sure. Well a lot of the ladies have said girl. You can drive yourself or girl Why he always picking you up or girl this ir that........ Meanwhile, they second guessing their own relationship. There's so many other examples. My husband takes damn good care of me. He caters to me.... Makes a lot of, I have to say it, Black women uncomfortable 😢

I’m happy Marjorie shied away from sharing so much of her wonderful life. There were millions of eyes lurking, watching, some watching with venom as she got spoiled tremendously and treated so well. She isn’t apologizing for living the good life and I don’t blame her! I notice on a lot of the comments under pics and on videos women will say Lori is average looking when in all reality the young lady is a naturally pretty women just like her mom. They make it seem like she has slept with every man she is seen with without real proof. This type of negative talk has been happening for centuries. If you half way decent looking and yes well kept and provided for you get dragged and rumors start to fly. This starts from a young age

I received A LOT of tacky comments from women, mainly black women, for having a good relationship with my daughter's father and when I was married. Because I had the support of my families, I always got the 'must be nice' or 'not everybody's got it like that' comments. I'm so thankful and grateful I had the support I had. 😊😊😊

I truly can’t fathom why women dislike Marjorie, and sadly it’s mostly black women. Who wouldn’t want to see a black woman being loved, cared for and supported, it’s weird to see women speak against her as if they know this couple! Have I ever been hated on for my hypergamous relationships? yes! Unfortunately because I was a naive people pleaser and Listening to And couldn't live without my friends but soon things changed drastically. Left broke hurt and lonely i soon realized that i was duped by jealous friends males too.
I Cut off the negative and jealous friends and family and out of the rabbit hole of confusion.

I hate to admit this but I honestly thought Majorie got with Steve when he had a lot of money, so I’m glad he came to her defense, as a man should. This is the “Protecting” part!! One thing for sure, a man when a man believes he has found his dream girl, there isn’t nothing he wouldn’t do for that woman. Another good example is Meghan Markle, A bi-racial divorcee Actress, everything that would be looked down on by the British Royal Family. YET, a whole Prince said “when I met her I thought I l’ve got to pull my socks up”. Look how Prince Harry has stood up for his wife in front of the whole world; whether what he is doing is right or not right is irrelevant! My biggest HYPERGAMOUS lesson is to never settle for a man who doesn’t believe I’m the best thing since sliced bread. He might have money, but that’s not enough if I’m not cherished and adored.
Sadly, I think some people are envious of her because they probably feel like her appearance have gotten her a lot of favor in life that they never got, and never will get and then you have the other side that could never do anything remotely close for anyone like that and they are just upset that a man can treat a spouse that well because they have never done it and never will. And don’t have it to do Lol I truly believe that women should be treated good ❤

I'm not provided for yet but have been glowing up exponentially. The hate is shocking. I see women take one look at me and scowl, grab their man, or do something really attention seeking as a knee jerk reaction. Many women are even physical with pushing me on the street, stepping in front of me to the point of collision, or placing object like chairs or their entire body in my way of walking. I just smirk and tell myself damn you really got them pressed and you not even where you want to be yet. Marjorie and Lori are a beautiful duo and I feel so blessed to have them as inspiration. Even if I repost Lori ppl will randomly reply to my story with hateful things about her. Very weird and telling. I've learned to transmute the hate into compliments. That's what it really is but ppl are so self loathing they can't just say that.

I had the misfortune and ignorance of selecting men in the past who weren’t providers a/o protectors . They believed that I should be working constantly in and out of the home. I accept full responsibility for choosing those men b/c I didn’t know my true worth. Violia Davis was questioned on the red carpet on what made her marriage enduring and she responded with something to the effect of having a true love affair with herself first. Her husband was standing beside her and was in total agreement. He added that her self-confidence and self-love made him love her even more deeply. I’m paraphrasing of course. I was very touched by her honesty. So, it’s very important as adults to cultivate self-esteem and respect within our young girls so that they can learn to set appropriate boundaries and not settle for less. I admire Marjorie Harvey for creating the life she is living unapologetically.Nothing positive comes from spewing hate and negativity into the world. I wish blessings onto all women who are happily married and to those who spread their happiness onto others.
