And they knew what they were doing. They both said in the beginning to be cautious, but then didn't. And Pearl saying "we were trying to provide"? It wasn't like she risked it to come back with a suit of diamond armor for her soulmate. Just some useless nether stuff.
@@HalfInt pearl only really went to the nether because Martin asked, and even when inside the nether she said a couple times that they should go back, also Martin was the one that said they were trying to provide, I’m trying not to sounds angry, because I’m not, but I feel pearl wasn’t given justice

@@martyn Just do your best to avoid Cleo. As long as you don’t actively anger her, things will be fine. She tends to hold grudges, and is the type who will happily take herself out, just to get you. Also, since you were already there, and based on every other risk you jumped right into, you and Pearl should have just gone for the enchant table. You could set up a pretty nice business with that thing. 🤣😂🤣
@@oldsoldier4209 the enchanting table is in the ancient city. and the ancient city is somewhere in the deep dark. Just because they found a deep dark doesn't mean it has an ancient city, there could be multiple deep darks as it's a biome.

It’s kinda poetic how Martyn’s soulmate happened to stay with Pearl’s soulmate while Martyn and Pearl were spending all their time together. It feels like a 4 way love triangle even though it’s technically not 😂

I will say I don’t blame Cleo for her and Scott’s reactions. From Cleo’s perspective she was constantly eating to heal them and you can see from his perspective that she made sure to keep his hearts up. 😅

Meanwhile, Cleo and Scott were panicking as soon as the achievement popped up because they'd already ruled out everyone else as possible soulmates
I was dying when the goat attack gave "the secret" away and you didn't notice (honestly, neither did I) yet everyone else was laughing. The editing made it even better, it was great throughout the whole episode.

Aw, you and Pearl were having such a nice, yet extremely reckless, bond only for that sad ending. Tho, I found very justified for Scott and Cleo to react that way, I do feel bad for Pearl.
(It is a game, so I'm sure Pearl is fine, but for the story, its sad.)
On the other hand, it is tradition for Martyn to go to the nether the first day of the Life series, so no surprise there.

Yessss I was looking forward to your perspective! I love the way you and Pearl stuck together despite not being soulmates, I wonder what you'll do next session seeing as you're technically alone, and whether it'll stick that way, or you partner up with Pearl again (I love your dynamic by the way), or join another alliance.
Also, I haven't seen the whole episode yet, but I'm wondering what the lore will be like this season? I think you said you wouldn't do any Voice lore this season, but people including me have been wondering if this will tie into your V-Tuber lore - either way, I'm really excited to see what happens, and to watch my favourite perspective once again. Also, I'm rooting for you to win this, and both you and Cleo are very capable so there's definitely a chance. Good luck! And may the best pair win.

I'd seen the session from Pearl's perspective, I know they split apart at the end. I'm just saying that, in a game where having no allies is dangerous, they're really each other's only option, as even with other soulmate pairs, those pairs are probably going to end up being more loyal to each other than anyone else who joins the alliance.
I was clarifying that because I didn't know if there'd be lore in this episode or not, as that isn't something that would show up on others' perspectives.

That’s what happens when you say your sorry for your soul bounds while they co plain about you burning while you’ve got no saturation. It felt justified. Now you and Cleo are going to be vulnerable.
