Language: Tamil
This song is presented as a conversation between Yashoda and little Krishna. It reflects the tactics that any child uses with their mother to get what they want. Yashoda here tells Krishna that he is far too small to go out to graze the cows, when krishna continuously insists that he must be allowed to go. Yashoda first begins by tempting him with butter and sweets, which he refuses to eat. She then tell him of the perils he will face in the forest with thieves and animals. She says that the animals will eat him and she will find him in one of their stomachs when she goes to look for him. Krishna says that he was always known as a thief and that no thief can scare him. He also says that the animals are all hid friends and that he knows how to keep them in their place. Yashoda finally says that she will have no answer when his father Nanda comes and asks where he is. She thinks that the father might be the only one he is scared of. Krishna replies and asks her to lie for him. “say that I have gone to play ball somewhere nearby, and by the time you call my name ill be back as though I never left”. Yashoda is finally at a loss and lets him go for a little while, putting her fears aside.

I like this wonderful song written by Oothukkad Venkada Kavi/Bhagavathar.After finishing poojas & my house hold works I used to dance in my own way in front of Krishna's photo.(all family members will go out for job).
Now due to covid19 season the family members are at home studying online, work at home etc.😄so can't dance -own direction😄(I am in 50s.)
Now I feel like dance 😂 with you,learn from you etc. The expressions of Kannan made me laugh.Yashodamma's part that is from day to day Life.....😄 lovely.

I don't know what is being said, but just by watching, I'm assuming that its a child who wants to adventure in the jungle and a mother or woman or sister is trying discourage the child from going, by telling him that there's wild animals that will eat him. But it doesn't work and the child winds up getting his way? As a formerly active Hula dancer, I love how this Artist covers the message so that anyone can understand what is being conveyed. So expressive and lovely! I applaud the level excellence she displays!
