In terms of size Caraxes is longer and more slim making him more agile, but Rhaegal is more larger and had a thicker mass making him more durable and physically stronger. plus Vhagar quite old and super slow during the DOTD. Caraxes used his fast speed to get a few hits before Vhagar ripped his wings of plus. It wasn't really Caraxes alone that killed Vhagar but the impact of the fall too. In terms of size Caraxes is longer and more slim making him more agile, but Rhaegal is more larger and had a thicker mass making him more durable and physically stronger. plus Vhagar quite old and super slow during the DOTD. Caraxes used his fast speed to get a few hits before Vhagar ripped his wings of plus. It wasn't really Caraxes alone that killed Vhagar but the impact of the fall too. Why tf would the Night king send his foot soldiers against someone who was only a few meters away from him. The Night King had no problem going after Bran or even killing Theon, then why would he avoid Aegon ? Why didn't the Night King fight Aegon personally in a sword fight ? The only logical reason is that the Night King was afraid of Aegon Targaryen since Aegon was the champion of R'hllor, who had risen from the dead. The Night King knew this and recognized Aegon's power and capability to destroy him, permanently. Even during the battle at Hardhome Aegon managed to parry a strike from a White walker general who basically the physical equivalent of the Night King himself, proving Aegon's unnatural strength. So yeah considering the fact that Aegon would destroyed the Night King in a sword fight, he would obliterated Daemon in a sword fight as well, you know this, you are just much of a simp to accept it.
