Mangonels seem so lame in the current meta. The irony of the Byzantine making French cannons to destroy the French (who made no cannons) is not lost on me.

Yeah, this is one of the only times I've seen cannons built from the FEC and I've been saying, they are like bombards and springalds combined, you really need them to counter mangonels if you've got an infantry-based composition, and they also give you some very strong siege damage. I always see people spamming Nests of Bee instead and most of the time they don't do much before they get chased down and killed, they really need to be used from behind walls.

@@victor25021983 true but walling up is hard to do when you are constantly raided because it sets you back in villager gather time and resources. Fact is beasty is just better at multitasking. Numudan did a fantastic job though.
