I tried this on my baritone lol. The key is a little off, however It doesn’t sound so bad. and I might use it as a warmup for high notes in the future (I play baritone but I did the trombone part)

Nah trust me this is painful listening back lol. Believe it or not this was for a music theory class but it was an intro level class which for someone who was in band was painful to go through. If I'm remembering it right by the end it was just me wanting to be as chaotic as possible.

yeah I think there could be a lot of improvement... I would say the rythym paired with the fact that the range is so much different and there's slow "runs" on trombone make it stick out so even the same thing sped up would make it better

Some bits in the trombone that are not necessarily necessary to play. Also feels like there’s no progression and in fact just notes put on to the score.
Maybe try and take some courses on harmony and having directions with your compositions, and then you’ll be good to go, and I’m sure that’ll be easy enough for you to learn.
PS: I know what you’re trying to do with the harmonies in the piece, but unfortunately they don’t make too much sense and like I said don’t have meaning or direction.
I’m not a professional composer, so maybe some lessons would also be beneficial 👍
