    They should pay you as a Spackmann Sealant Professional as an option when someone buys that tent. I’d say that’s worth a bit of dough for that kind of attention.
    Happy Sunday my friend. Great shirt by the way. My friend had tickets to the show right before Bradley died. I also got a speeding ticket in high school while listening to the song “April 29th, 1992.”

    You might want to trademark the “Spackman Water Torture Test”. You need to do a video on how you seam seal. More than anything I left me this tent as they really seem to want to make a tent that is both budget friendly and of good quality.

      @nd predator yeah, same with the StoveHut. There is a “pocket” or shelf for the water to collect and eventually find its way inside. Thanks for watching bro!

    Good, honest review. My take is that it is a really good tent for the price. With a little tweaking of a few loose threads and tape, it is more than a good deal for a 2 person tent. People have to temember that your test is on the extreme side weather wise. Most people would not go camping, or would go home in rain like that. Thanks for the video.

    • @AdventureswithSpackmann
      @AdventureswithSpackmann  2 роки тому

      @mushercdn that is true. Most people wouldn’t camp in weather like this. I think it’s a good tent for the price. Has some nice features, great space and like you said with a little tweaking it’s a good deal. Thanks for watching glad you liked it!

    I had the exact same issue the ties wick water from the outside. Also 4 stitches from the loops that attach the spreader bars weren’t taped from the factory. I have it fixed with sealant too but the tent was $35 from Amazon with a coupon code…

    Great review. You can understand why they were confident in their tent but yea, though I'd agree with you about those seems, kinda strange that they'd allow that in the design cause that's just roofing 101. Looks like a pretty decent tent though. And yea, that's how the hydrostatic head test is done but just on a sample piece of the material not a whole tent, personally though I don't ever go for less than 3000HH cause it's always raining a lot in the UK lol

    • @AdventureswithSpackmann
      @AdventureswithSpackmann  2 роки тому +1

      @Chris ‘CJ’ Jones thank bro! Yeah really strange especially since one of the seams looks right and rest don’t. The fabric seems great to be honest, water just falls off even after hours of rain, I have been testing like crazy. If the seams weren’t an issue it was be fantastic! Thanks for watching!
